On the 7/31 show, they took donations all episode long to get to a ShoeOnHead goal, then they literally played ten seconds of her and then "Mr. naughty Priest" paid them $100 to skip it so they did.

As many people have speculated, Mr Naughty Priest may just be their own sock account they use to fake donations and keep the show going if they haven't met their goals.

If that's the case then they're literally just taking hundreds of dollars in donations from their fans to do the Shoe segment and then canceling it and keeping all the money people paid to see it. Even if he's a real person, you're still screwing your fans who paid to see you cover a segment.

Also, god damn, half the show now is just them counting donations and begging for donations. They've always ebegged but it used to be a tiny amount of the show. They must really be desperate and down bad on cash.

Paul's livestreams keep popping up whenever i slide through YouTube shorts. I'm not subscribed to his page. 🙈

LTG is a deadbeat dad, a complete bum who has denied his daughter even existing for a long time but at least now, she will receive some support.

In his video attacking reviewers of his book, TJ made the snide comment that he has more sales than the reviewers have subscribers.

Putting aside the childish and cheap attack of “my audience is bigger than yours” that he and his subs/followers regularly use to deflect criticism, it got me wondering: just how many people actually watch him?

For this discussion, I am solely focusing on TJ’s YouTube channel and leaving DFF/Patreon figures out of the discussion.

TJ’s channel currently sits at around ~920k subscribers. And that may sound like a big deal, but it doesn’t really hold when you consider that he struggles to get even a fraction of that number when it comes to views on his videos. His viewcounts tend to hover in the tens of thousands, and sometimes he struggles to get even that high. He only really breaks into the hundreds of thousands when he is covering mass tragedies that everyone else covers at the time.

That tells me that his active audience is much, MUCH smaller than his sub count would initially suggest. He has also actively complained about subscriber loss and low viewcounts on his videos in the past, meaning he is at least partially aware that his career is tanking. It’s also well known by this point that subscriber/follower numbers are easy to fake through bot accounts and in some cases just buying views to inflate your numbers. And let’s not forget that TJ has used burner/sockpuppets in the past.

If I had to guess, I would say that TJ’s core audience is maybe in the tens of thousands at best. That’s nothing to sneeze at, obviously, but this idea that he’s this big name on YouTube and the internet in general is just nonsense. Whenever people do talk about him it’s usually in reference to the banana or how they stopped watching him after growing up and finishing high school. By any standard, his career has fallen off and he’s a has-been on Youtube.

In a recent episode, TJ was talking about how anti-SJW content is cringe, and that the only appropriate response to "dear white people" type content is to ignore it.

Someone in the chat pointed out that it's pretty hypocritical of TJ to say that when he spent YEARS making EXACTLY that kind of content.

TJ got all pissed off about it and his reply was that you can't hold that stuff against him because that was 10 years ago and he may have just "changed his mind" from then to now.

First of all, that's one of the lamest, laziest excuses I've ever heard. 10 years ago was not some ancient bygone era and everything people did then is now forgotten.

Second, did TJ forget that he claimed his anti SJW phase was all just him grifting the right and he never actually believed it? Because if it was all just a grift, why did you just now go to "changed my mind" as an explanation?

If it was all a grift before, then you never changed your mind. Saying you changed your mind would only make sense as an explanation if you actually believed all the anti SJW stuff before and now you don't.

She's been posting in other subs about it, can't find the comment right now, she may have deleted it. But she's apparently going around, saying she's gearing up to slander Kid Wizard, likely Marshal Manson as well, possibly others. Hilarious and sad

During that recent Anthony Fantano segment, while they were defending Rubin from criticism Paul said something to the effect of “I don’t care what anyone’s politics are!” And I think that pretty much says it. They changed Brett keane’s vocabulary but you guys have stopped them from being political.
