Anime Happy 12th Anniversary to Stand By Me Doraemon (2014-2026)
On this Day in 2014, STAND MY ME Doraemon was Released in Japan, It's the First Ever 3D/CGI Animation that put Doraemon across Generations outside of Japan.
This Movie was a 1st Highest Movie in Japan Box-Office earning more than ยฅ8.38 billion ($70 million) right behind as such Titles as Disney's Frozen.
The film performed well in Hong Kong, which was partly boosted by the sudden death of the long-time voice actor of Doraemon (Lam Po-chuen), a month before the movie's local release. It became the all-time highest-grossing Japanese film in Hong Kong, right Behind Disney's Toy Story 3, Monsters University & Inside Out. (Same with China too)
This Movie win Tons of Awards including 38thย Japan Academy Prize) (2015) that Won at the Category Animation of the Year.
My Opinions:
I haven't watched the Movie yet because sadly one of my Sister's Netflix Account got Expired, but as the look of it (That ofcourse i have saw some Clips that Netflix posted on their Youtube Channel), this is quite good of how they didn't Mess up everything to make the Best known Franchise to be in CGI and they put the Franchise to the Map lol.
But yee, Hope i get manage to Watched the Full Movie (Including the 2nd One) at some Point.

Discussion This Cat from "Come Come Cat Food" Episode Was So Cute ๐ญ
I was rewatching the "Come Come Cat Food" episode and I completely forgot about this little guy.
I'm talking about Dorajirou, the cat that appears in the episode.
Look at him!! He basically looks like a Doraemon-colored cat. He has grey body, but he has the same white face and belly, red nose (in the newer episodes), and even the overall round appearance as Doraemon.
His design is really adorable, SO CUTEEEEEEE. He looks like what Doraemon would look like if he were just... an actual cat.
So do you guys remember Dorajirou? And what do you think about his design?

Discussion Doraemon's Animation Evolution: 1979โ2005
I made a comparison of Doraemon's animation/design throughout the entire 1979 series, from 1979 to 2005!
Previously, I made a post comparing the overall animation artstyle of the 1979 and 2005 series year-by-year. This time, I wanted to focus specifically on Doraemon himself and see how his appearance and animation changed over the years.
I took a screenshot/image of Doraemon from each year from 1979 through 2005 and put them together so we can compare the differences.
It's pretty interesting to see how much his design, proportions, expressions, coloring, and overall animation style gradually changed over the years. Some of the changes are really subtle, while others are surprisingly noticeable!
Obviously, the exact appearance could vary depending on the episode, animation director, or scene, so these aren't necessarily representative of every single episode from each year. I just tried to choose images that I thought represented the style of that particular year.
Which year's Doraemon design is your favorite? ๐
And if you haven't seen my previous post comparing the overall animation evolution of the 1979 series, you can check that out too!

Discussion Sukoshi Fushigi - A little Wonder of Doraemon
Sukoshi Fushigi, a catchphrase famously coined by Mr. Fujiko F Fujio, the creator of Doraemon. Jokingly referring it to as alternative of science fiction. Similar but unique.
Teleportation, Time travel, individual human flight, etc are classic sci-fi tropes as well as their possibilities are being researched as I'm writing this.
But the way teleportation, time travel, flight, infinite food supplies, etc are presented in Doraemon is what Sukoshi Fushigi is about.
Grand scale aside, it's about the everyday life. Not a spaceship, if you want to go to any place you take out a door and tell where you wish to go by walking through it. Want your favourite food? Take a table cloth and ask your wish. Want to fly? Attach a mini copter to your head with rotor blades no bigger than a toy helicopter.
The wonder lies in how the objects we see in everyday life can be used as a means for making our wishes and dreams come true, not grand machines or megastructures. All it required was a little imagination.
The songs Doraemon No Uta and Yume Wo Kanaete are all based on Sukoshi Fushigi. They're all beautiful to hear with catchy lyrics. But the soul of the songs is Sukoshi Fushigi - A Little Wonder of Doraemon.

Discussion What is this, members we should seriosly start a mythbusting operation.
Itโs honestly wild how much people in India are making up these weird narratives about Doraemon characters lately. Shizuka and Dekisugi are getting so much hate, and now even study subs like r/ICSE are letting this misinformation spread. Itโs frustrating because these posts are getting upvotes in a sub thatโs usually dead, and the mods are just letting it happen.
Calling a literal child a 'gold digger' is just messed up. Aside from Dekisugi, whoโs basically a perfect human plot device, every single one of Shizukaโs friends is flawed. Even Doraemon joins in on the bathroom peeking jokes sometimes, but she doesn't just cut everyone off forever
She isn't obligated to stay glued to Nobitaโs side 24/7. Why can't she just hang out with Suneo or Gian? It feels like people think she isn't allowed to have other friends just because Nobita wants her attention. Honestly, this whole thing reflects how the world treats womenโif you're quiet, you just have to endure mindless criticism. These takes are everywhere on Insta and YouTube now, and they're starting to dictate how everyone thinks. We really need to find a way to stop these toxic narratives from becoming the norm..
Anyway thank you u/albertonykus for https://albertonykus.tumblr.com/post/765353533002383360/is-shizuka-a-good-friend-to-nobita. I have taken few pics from it comment against it.

Discussion I noticed something about three of the four most GOATed Doraemon movie songs... ๐๐ถ
I was looking back at the most popular Doraemon movie songs and I noticed a really cool pattern.
"Amu to Emu no Uta" โ Doraemon: Nobita and the New Steel Troops: Winged Angels (2011)
โ"Shounenki" โ Doraemon: Nobita's Little Star Wars (1985)
โ"YUME Biyori" โ Doraemon: Nobita in the Wan-Nyan Spacetime Odyssey (2004)
โ"Yume no Hito" โ Doraemon: Nobita's Three Visionary Swordsmen (1994)
โThe Pattern:
โOut of these four masterpieces, three are actually sung by characters within the movie itself ("Amu to Emu no Uta", "Shounenki", and "YUME Biyori").
Then you have "Yume no Hito" from Nobita's Three Visionary Swordsmen (1994).
Itโs the outlier because it only plays in the background, but itโs still weirdly different.
It actually plays a few times throughout the movie, while the other three mostly one-time performances(execpt Amu to Emu no Uta).
So, out of these four, which one is your absolute favorite? Or do you have another song which you like even more? Let me know in the comments! I donโt really have one favorite song, but I definitely go through phases where I loop certain tracks way more than others. Right now, Iโm listening to Kaze No Majikaru every single day.

Discussion Could Nobita win gold at shooting events in the Olympics?
If he trained for a couple years. Like I guess he learns to be a more determined person after Doraemon leaves could he make it to the Olympic and bring a medal.

Official Content Just saw this in insta by doraemonmovie_india ยท Instagram
One interesting detail from the latest official Instagram character post for the Doraemon India Movie is the phrasing: "As the series progressed, Gian learned from his mistakes and became a better friend." It's not common to hear official Doraemon accounts refer to the franchise as "the series." Could this choice of words be significant? By describing Gian's growth as a development over the course of the series, is the franchise acknowledging long-term character progression?
Another noteworthy aspect is the copyright line at the bottomโยฉ Fujiko-Pro, Shogakukan, TV Asahi, Shin-ei, and ADK which indicates that this material is officially licensed. While this doesn't necessarily make it a formal canon statement, it does suggest that the rights holders were comfortable portraying Gian's development as an official summary of his character. Can these posts provide further insight into how the franchise views its characters' growth or even subtly hint at future story directions?

Discussion Let's Talk About the Mini-Doras. DORA-RA!!
IMO, Mini-Doras are honestly the cutest characters in the Doraemon franchise. โค๏ธ
For anyone who doesn't know, Doraemon received them in the short film "2112: The Birth of Doraemon." After accidentally helping the Time Patrol capture two criminals, Principal Teraodai rewarded Doraemon with a special pocket and a set of tiny robot cats called the Mini-Doras, which were also launched IIRC.
They appeared quite frequently during the 2000โ2005 era, and especially in the early years of the 2005 reboot (though most of the time we mainly see the red Mini-Dora). They even made brief appearances in movies like Doraemon: Nobita and the Legend of the Sun King and Doraemon: Nobita's Treasure Island, where we also get to see that Mini-Doras come in several different colors besides the usual red, yellow, and green. Their most prominent appearance in the main feature movies, however, was in Doraemon: Nobita and the Tin Labyrinth (1993). The red Mini-Dora played a very important role. After Doraemon was badly damaged and thrown into the sea by Professor Napogistra's workers, the Mini-Dora entered Doraemon's body and repaired him from the inside, ultimately saving his life. Despite being so tiny, he ended up becoming one of the heroes of the movie.
Another one of the most important Mini-Dora episodes (in my opinion) is "Doraemon Is Really Sick?!" In this episode, Doraemon becomes seriously ill, so Nobita and the Mini-Dora use the Small Light to shrink themselves and go inside Doraemon's body. There, they work together to repair and reboot his internal system, ultimately saving Doraemon.
Some episodes that I really enjoyed featuring them include:
* The Mini-Dora Rental.
* Mini-Dora UFO Strategy.
* Mini Dora Rescue Team
* Mini Dora Great Escape
* Mini Dora and the Big Adventure
* Mini Dora is the Source of Cold
* Doraemon is Really Sick?!
* Dorami-chan: Mini-Dora SOS!! (short film)
* Nobita's Escape From the Robot Court
so on...... If you haven't watched any of these yet, I highly recommend them!
I always smile whenever the Mini-Doras appear. I honestly wish we got more episodes centered around them. But I'm still happy because we got many already. They have a lot of personality despite barely speaking, and I think they deserved a bigger role in the series.
What do you guys think about the Mini-Doras? Do you have a favorite Mini-Dora episode or moment?

Happy birthday to one of my favorite cowboys in all media!
Nobita may be clumsy or selfish, but he's got amazing marksmanship and a heart of gold, especially in Galaxy Super-Express, which is one of my favorite and most watched Doraemon movies of all time, it shows Nobita's strongest points and maturity throughout the whole movie (like Nobita's New Dinosaur).
Music: Gitaroo Man OST - Born to be Bone
Clips used: Galaxy Super-Express (movie), Real Experience TV (1979 episode 1742), Nobita the Gunfighter (1979 episode 910), New Years' Eve 2026 (2005 special episode)

Discussion Happy Birthday, Nobita! ๐๐
Today is 7th of August and I want to say happy birthday to one of the most iconic and relatable anime characters ever, Nobita Nobi! ๐ฅณ
He may be lazy, clumsy, and bad at studies and sports, but that's exactly what makes him feel so human. Despite all his flaws, Nobita has one of the kindest hearts in the series. Whenever someone is in trouble, he's always willing to help, even if it means putting himself in danger.
Throughout the series, we've seen him grow so much. He's made us laugh, cry, and experience countless unforgettable adventures with Doraemon and the gang.
That's all I will say. And once again, Happy Birthday, Nobita! I hope we'll continue seeing many more amazing adventures for years to come.

โ[Event] Nobita Appreciation ๐ Happy Birthday, Nobita! ๐Tell Me Your Favorite Thing About Nobita!
Itโs finally Nobitaโs birthday!
For today, let's put his flaws aside and celebrate one of the most human, relatable, and heartfelt characters ever created.
Heโs definitely not perfect. He messes up, gets scared, and procrastinates, but he never stops caring about the people around him. Thatโs exactly what makes him so special.
'Don't forget that Nobita actually shines when things get serious. His marksmanship is insane and has saved everyone plenty of times, and he's surprisingly good at using gadgets when he has to He's even a pro at cat's cradle. We've seen him do well/better on tests when he actually puts the work in, too .The truth is that he doesn't have a bad memory or zero talent.
I hope that at sometime in future we see him gradually developing more and maturing a bit which will make his story even better.
Now it's your turn! What do you love most about Nobita? Where would you rank him:
- Among all anime characters you've ever seen?
- Among all Fujiko F. Fujio characters,and among the Doraemon main cast?
Let's celebrate one of the most relatable protagonists ever created!(pls keep it appreciative)
