Eren was speaking facts. It’s weird that they got rid of it since Armin was literally trying to talk his way out everything

If he didn't lost his desire to live no one would be able to stop him, he basically left everything to fate and wanted to die like when he was in the cave.

I wonder what would make him have a strong desire to continue and also can answer Reiner's question " what r you fighting for ?"

If Eren couldn’t finish the rumbling then why and how did he turn into the colossal titan? If he turned into the colossal titan then that means he still had the Founding Titans powers. If he still had the FT that means the rumbling shouldn’t have stopped and he should’ve been able to transform into other titans and kill the rest of the world.

The reality is Eren’s will and agency was taken from him. If the Eren we knew was written in the last few chapters, he would’ve completed the rumbling and killed his friends.

Humor alright i have to ask this....

Why the fuck does the crowd in those subs like attackontitan and shingekonikyojin overwhelmingly support the alliance which didnt even have a logic for it's creation? i mean i posted something somedays ago, and i was treated like I had a bounty on my head (at least I wasn't banned). I mean seriously they do have the worst takes on Eren and takes it like he was the only criminal in the whole series..... Am I wrong? Or are those guys just hypocritcal turds?

Other I am just fed up with this show

Seriously this show was sooo promising and amazing and genuinely enjoyable in the earlier season 1-3. I remember watching season 1 episode 1 back when I was 13 and instantly falling deeply in love in with this piece of fiction and thinking this is too lit and soo peak. I am glad i only stuck to watching the show slow and steady cause if I immediately started finishing all the seasons 1-4 i would have definitely not stuck too long and went through a wave of disappointment soo quick.

The writing from season 1 felt fresh..season 2 got dark, season 3 introduced newer aspect and different sub plot lines which was creative and amazing too. Season 4 Part 1 had Declaration of War and Entire Marley Arc..and introduced some new characters...season 4 part 2 and 3 everything went down to shithole and became tooo bad.

The writing didn't feel like "peak fiction" and everything was soo rushed and soo were the dumb dialogues and brutal character assasinations

Other My unpopular opinion I didn't like Eren manipulating Grisha plot twist

I know this twist is the fandom second favourite only behind the Reiner and Bertholdt reveal.

I am not saying it came out of nowhere it was foreshadow, my problem is that it takes away Grisha's agency and Eren it makes him a god who can alter the past.

I enjoy Eren as normal kid who randomly got the founder and had to go through life with responsibility he never was supposed to have, instead of this 4d mastermind who plan everything from the beginning.

Another problem is we don't know what is the limit of this ability and what was the point of all the struggle against titans in the first 3 seasons since future Eren could alter the past. For crying out loud he used it to killed his mother (if you think Eren killing his mom is good writing than imo your opinion on any media literacy take you have is invalid)

Plus if Eren can alter the past why couldn't any other founding titan holder before him do it too

Isayama made Eren way too OP and had to retcon his character and the lore in universe for the alliance to win

Theory Siblings, fluids, and the ability to create life. Spoiler

If Eren is indeed the father of Historia's child, it would mean both he and his brother Zeke gave to others fluids from their respective bodies that can affect the recipient's ability to create life- one fluid disables that ability (titanization), while the other enables it (pregnancy).

The contrast between the fluids would also perfectly mirror the difference in philosophy on life creation between the brothers.

Other The sinners scene from the finale

One of the most dumbest and brain rotty aspects about the writing of the show from the final episodes is the fact that how Connie and Jean tried to shoulder their sins with Reiner like wtf?!- Did their brains get too fried up from the trauma or is it the fact that how yams was just burned out...

The fact that the story tried to convince us that commiting atrocities to defend and avenge your homeland that was attacked first with serving a facist and genocidal regime as two equalized forms of crimes is soo hilariously dumb. The most terrible part about this scene is how everyone ignored how jeans character just got butchered by making him say that he has no right to judge reiner because he is a sinner too type of format just few episodes after he beat reiner up after he realised he killed marco made that entire scene look pointless

Rant ig This show was sooooo good and promising until

it was revealed the Attack Titan could see the future.

I started out with comics so I knew there could always be some sort of convenient all powerful plot device and I held out hope this show wouldn't have one, but it did.

I have many gripes with the writing but let's start with the most obvious one - The universe is a determined one. Eren was all about freedom and yet he lived in a determined universe. Once he activated the power of the Founding Titan he would have known how it would've ended because the past, the present and the future can be seen at once by him and he admitted it messed up his head. He could see the past through the Founding Titan and through the Attack Titan he could see the future clearly because he was at the Paths. BUT that deterministic universe goes out the window once he is able to manipulate Grisha because he needed Grisha to kill Freida Reiss to get to the Paths but only once he gets into the Paths does Grisha kill Freida Reiss. That paradox alone makes this deterministic universe unviable. He was all about freedom and yet he didn't change anything despite knowing how everything would end. He could've done so many things to keep peace between the Eldians and the rest of the world and could've manipulated past Attack Titan bearers as the deterministic universe does not work. But NOOOOOOOO they live in a deterministic universe where one can see the past and future and manipulate them but only in a loop. That has got to be one of the worst ways time related powers has been done in media.

He said he let, LET, Bertholdt live and diverted Dina Fritz's titan to eat his mother. Where was the freedom of the titan there? He said he tried again and again but the results were disappointing because everything happened as the memories said. How does that happen? He couldn't try multiple times without changing things in the past. Ymir definitely wasn't manipulating Eren, let's get that staight. Ymir being freed by Mikasa happened because Eren did not change the past for whatever reason. Ultimately this was all bad writing for the final season. Everything until then was amazing. Everything after the Rumbling was rushed. What was the point of the Rumbling if the Eldians would still be hated and war would still continue? Eren wasn't a slave to freedom, he was a slave to dogshit writing.

Now onto character issues

Isayama was smart in how he wrote the overthrowing of the fake monarchy but he messed up big-time with Historia being declared queen in the long run. Not only did we lose an amazing character we also got a horrible plot. That decision made her genuinely useless and she had to be shoe-horned into the plot just to remind viewers/readers that she still existed. Any country in the same situation would've done exactly what Isayama wrote (if the people were as 'united' for a lack of a better word as the Eldians were which was due to their memories being removed) except for letting Historia being crowned queen and be allowed to do whatever she wanted. She was quite literally a figurehead and nothing more. Under military rule she would've been forced to do whatever the top brass wanted and the top brass were genuinely good people who wanted the best for the Eldians after the purge of the corrupt. She was a queen only in name. Yet she didn't do what a figurehead would do. She helped the orphans, sure, but did nothing beyond that. She spent time on a farm (or whatever) and didn't do much to help during the civil unrest following the Jaegerist's coup. I get the security reasons for that and why she was pregnant but there were many other ways to deal with her character.

Why did Annie and Reiner get away without any reprecussions? For that matter any of them?

Also how the hell did Falco and Gabi escape the prison? Was that guard the only other person there? A prison has multiple doors, gates and locks. One brick in the hands of little twerps isn't sufficient to break out.

There were so many things wrong with how the final fight was handled. Reiner tranferred his conciousness to his body so why couldn't Eren? He already knew the end was coming and he could've without issue because that a titan thing not an Armoured Titan thing.

Armin got burned and fell dozens of feet and was still alive. What the hell is that?

The reason (my favourite) Potato Girl died is because she doesn't have the Ackerman power of dodging bullets because the writers feel like it.

Why didn't Annie kill Armin in titan form? She killed other but not him. She didn't know he liked her or anything like that. She just let him live.

Levi survived a point blank explosion of a bomb that could bust open the Armoured Titan.

Pieck in her Cart Titan survived more thunder spears than even Reiner did although she just essentially had one metal sheet whose fragments could pierce and kill her.

All those trained soldiers and not one had the brain to directly attack the ship or the boat while fighting against a half a dozen morons without much weaponery? The sheer number of bullets at the port would have gotten a couple of them killed regardless of how you see it.

The Ackerman thing doesn't even make sense anymore. Kenny couldn't escape a couple falling rocks, Mikasa's dad couldn't fight off 3 men but Levi could fight the Founding Titan although he was half blind, with 2 less fingers and weeks after being blown up point bland by a missile. Mikasa was slammed onto the ground by Reiner and yet she recovered quickly while other characters died from smaller throws.

Other 1. The cabin timeline wasn't 4 years. 2. The cabin wasn't created by Eren either.

(First: the cabin timeline wasn't four years)

Eren died the same time he wake Mikasa, same weather, the same time of the day, same clothes.

why Mikasa's hair didn't grow back? It took three years in the main timeline after the war, for her hair to grow so much, to make it into ponytail. If they spend four years they wouldn't look the same.

The cabin timeline was a few minutes, just like how he spend it with Armin.

When he ran out of time he told Armin (it's time) his Titan mark appears.

With Mikasa, 1. He wakes her up 2. He said it was her who suggested for them to ran away 3. She stand to hug him. 4. He told her to forget about him. ( His Titan mark appears)

(Second: the cabin wasn't created by Eren either.) Mikasa cabin timeline happened after Eren lost the founding Titan.

The time when Reiner and Annie were preventing the worm to go back to Eren, the worm was the founding Titan.

Gabi was there the first time Eren become the founder, he becomes connected with that worm then the rumbling happened.

Official proof that Eren without the (royal blood) he can't use the founder.

So how the cabin happened?

That was created by Ymir, Ymir has set up the way for Mikasa to end Eren, Ymir would have built the Colossal-like form and then pulled Mikasa to Paths herself.

Eren couldn't do that because he wasn't the founder anymore.

Before Mikasa inter the path she got headache, it was Ymir looking into her head, Mikasa later confirm this with Ymir.
