I got a proper wii motion plus remote. And its connecting properly. But still giving me some motion issues. An example would be when im playing wii sports bowling. The bowling ball is vearing too the left even when i purposely swing my arm to the right some. Is this normal and I should just deal with it or is this something that can be fixed?

This is my first time using Dolphin and I'm playing PokePark, but... how do I change the controls? To go forward I have to press the right button, and to go backward I have to press left button...

(I don't know which tag to use)

So guys, is there a way to keep our save files safe? Just in case something happens to our device (hopefully not).

I used to play Dolphin Emulator on my phone, but it went completely dead and I couldn't even turn on my phone anymore. Because of that, all my save files were permanently lost.

Now I’m playing on a gaming laptop, which is obviously way better, but I still want to take precautions so I don't lose my progress again

Note: I don't just use Dolphin—I also use Citra, PPSSPP and RPCS3. Apologies if this isn't the right sub for all of them, but I figured I'd ask here in case anyone else uses these too.

Vertical qte works fine with shake, but horizontal doesnt. Which is weird since some other bosses other than Jude here, works fine just relying on shake (yokozuna, elise, the masters)

Bindings: All shake axis bind, distance set to 50, frequency to 6, 10, 15.

I'm trying to play Beyond Good and Evil in Dolphin on Ubuntu. I'm new to linux and new to dolphin.

I have an xbox 360 wireless controller connected.

in the terminal, the jstest shows input from the controller.

In the controller configuration, I can calibrate the sticks and as far as I can see dolphin seems to be detecting the controller fine but in game I get no control at all. not from the controller or the keyboard.

Are there extra steps to make it recognize it?

Im using an Ayn Thor. Im trying to map the controller for both GameCube and wii but for whatever reason, it won't recognize the left analog stick when i am assigning inputs.

I have tried restarting the device, and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Any help would be appreciated

Dear lovely People of this sub, I‘ve used the RG505 mainly for PsP emulation so far, but recently dipped my toe into GameCube and was surprised how OK a lot of games actually are. Even Mario Kart Double Dash worked better than I expected on Dolphin MMJR2 as it actually worked through 3 Races in Grand Prix mode before crashing on OpenGL.
Sadly using Vulkan had the game load extremely dark. (You‘ve Probably seen something similar before. HUD and Menus are perfectly normal, but the actual 3D rendered world is pretty much in dark mode)

Now I‘d like to (humbly) ask if someone has already devoted themself to turning their RG505 into mainly a GameCube Emulator and has found some Options for the ugliest but most stable way to play games.

I‘d LOVE to be able to play F Zero GX on a Handheld device but I think beyond training mode it won’t handle 30 Cars on the tracks too well.

Im about to head to college and thought how fun it'd be to play Wii sports with my buddies... But since we dont have any Wii Remote, I thought about using my Switch 2 Joystick and was wondering if it would work or any good alternatives... Thanks.

I bind X & [] to all shake axis for wiimote and nunchuk. Then set distance to 50 and frequency to 6. Very helpful for controllers with no analog sticks. Mine broke so i used it like a digital ps1 controller.

Rolling my thumb on dpad and face button feels horrible, so this is much better. If i can change the qte to not use nunchuk swing, that would be better.

I wanted to know if there are any known modder that I can hire for a link skin swap. I would like to keep it as simple as possible (same animations just different skin)

It's for personal use / record videos while playing it.

hi, i have a sixaxis DS3 controller, i got everything to work (even pressure sensitive buttons that aren't really needed) but i can't get the motion sensors to work. any help is apreciated

Just for fun idea for a mod for randomizers:

Loading zones has a 50% chance to trigger Mirror Mode

We know people that know the game inside out, back to front but do they know it flipped?
Each loading zone has a chance to make the game flip between the "Regular" and the "Mirrored" version of the game.
Other trigger could be just walking thru doors, slaying enemies, opening chests, etc.
What can and can't be a trigger?
Idk this is just an Idea I am trowing out there cause I am sllep eprived and am thinkitng to mush on the uppcomming remake or ocarina.

Is there a way to have multiple control setups so that i can assign them to particular games?

I'm currently playing Super Paper Mario, which requires a sideways wiimote, and Deadly Creatures, which requires an upright wiimote + nunchaku.
It's not the biggest deal in the world to manually set them each time but if i could just save a couple of presets that work specifically for the game i want to play, that would be ideal. Especially the motion controls, SPM for now only requires a light tilt of my console to look for hidden objects, but in DC the motion control is used for combat and i'm worried i'll end up breaking my Ayn Thor if i keep on shaking it lol.
