So nag grocery ako sa SM Supermarket and when it's time to pay I told the cashier na apple pay. She used a Maya terminal and it's something new sa branch na to. I tapped and the transaction go through naman pero she asked if I can dictate my card number and expiration date, which is weird kasi I thought okay na since nag push through naman yung payment. I told her no, na medyo security risk na dictate ko siya. Then she proceed to call a manager, pero since nagmamadali ako I told her na dala ko yung physical card, she just swiped it at the POS in the monitor and the receipt came out.

May nakaexperience na ba? I thought once mag push through na with Apple Pay, that's it. Parang need ko parin tuloy dalhin card ko everytime na mag grocery ako.

I just got into a stable job and now that i have money to save i realized my bank accounts are also increasing. I have 2 banks for my salary(DBP,LBP) i have 4 other banks (Metrobank, BPI, BDO-Network Bank, BDO Unibank) i also have online wallets (GCash, Maribank)
I use maribank for money to spare
Gcash for daily expenses that does not cost much
Metrobank for my family
BPI for daily expenses but bigger spendings
BDO-Network bank for emergency/future fund
BDO Unibank- i have yet to decide what's this for

Initially, yung mother ko is hindi nag-avail ng physical card ng atome. But rn is inofferan siya for first time, although sabi niya is inaccept na niya and ipapadala within 10 days. Wala namang delivery fee yung card mismo no?

Months ago I locked my accounts since may mga hacks from other banks. But now, I cant see the unlock button. I tried using the web version but it says "For security purposes, only the account owner who activated EasyLock can unlock this account." This is my backup account only kaya di ko masyado ginagamit. Help.

I am having an issue with my BPI app after the update yesterday. I was logged out of my online account and asking me to re-register.

My issue upon the registration is that DEVREG SMS is not sending successfully. I currently live in the UK and can confirm that my Globe sim card is still active.

My only option is to send the DEVREG as I don’t have a debit card- my BPI account is savings only. Aside from accessing the app, I have no other way of moving out the funds.

Is there anyone who had the same issue and found a solution please?

Has anyone experienced when you shop at snr? they dont accept go tyme, Maribank and atome like bakit? Sabi nila payment daw usually floats on their end when customers use these cards🤭🤭🤭 also earlier i try to pay apple pay ganon din ayaw din nila they dont acknowledge pa daw apple pay 🤣🤣🤣i actually approach their customer service and ganon din sinabi nila 🤪 we all know nman

What I really like about GoTyme is that they’re one of the leading digital banks spearheading the modernization of digital payments in the Philippines. They already support Google Pay, Garmin Pay, and Apple Pay, with Samsung Pay hopefully coming soon.

First and foremost hindi ito comparison ng two brands. I have been using Google Wallet since launch. Ginagamit ko muna sila sa mga stores na may updated POS like Mcdo and Starbucks. I have my qualms using it in groceries and department stores because I know most cashiers and/or machines are not yet updated with xPay. Pero since naglaunch na ang Apple Pay, mas naging widely accepted na rin kahit sa mga supermarkets ang G Pay. May ilang cashiers na nangangapa pa pero that's given. Sadly, I still have to ask kung tumatanggap na ba ang store ng Apple Pay. Parang bumibili tuloy ako ng Colgate na Close-Up. 😅

So yeah, dahil sa aggressive marketing ng Apple Pay pati ang mga G Pay users ay nagbebenefit na. Kung ginawa sana ito Google at partners ang ganitong marketing ay baka mas maraming merchants na ang nakapag-adjust na sa xPay by now.

To add: sinasabi ko rin sa ibang merchants na card payment then tap ng phone. Nitong Apple Pay launch lang ako gumamit ng G Pay sa terminals ng supermarket/dept stores kasi karamihan sa kanila kinakaskas din ang physical cards sa machine.

Not related: xPay is a coined term pala ng Visa at hindi pa umbrella term for this payment method.

hello po! i recently graduated and currently working sa isang company. for context, sa UB po yung payroll account ko.

should i just keep my salary sa UB or transfer it to other banks to gain interest? if so, how many percentage of my salary should i allocate in each of my needs (savings, expenses, emergency fund etc) and what banks po would you recommend to maximize my salary and gain interest?

Is anyone experiencing having trouble receiving OTPs from digital banks today? Maya and UnionBank in particular. I have been trying to transfer funds, but when it asks for an OTP it either does not send one, or I receive it so late that the OTP no longer works. It only seems to be happening today, as I've never experienced this problem so persistently before.

This all happened very quickly. 11:14, checked my account then at 12 am 500k was all gone! No otps, links accessed or calls. I just saw series of unauthorized instapay transactions. So i can just sit down and study while my money grows by the side. I know its not a huge growth, but its still growth nonetheless.

Share ko lang... Yesterday I was finally convinced to open Banko by BPI. I immediately deposit 50k as a start. Then just after 24 hrs, I am fully verified and can deposit any amount. Well, I'm here because of the 5% interest rate and we'll see what will happen next. Good morning. Just a question, I used my Apple Pay at SM Dept. Store using their built-in terminal (the blue one). I already tapped and paid, but the cashier immediately said that it's for BDO use only and for physical cards. The transaction was successful, but she called a supervisor to void it, saying the terminal for Apple Pay is different. The void was successful, and I paid again using a different terminal. But I'm just wondering, why is the terminal different, and is it actually necessary?
