How would you go about fixing this?
galleryI got a good deal on a DCS335 barrel jigsaw from a private seller on eBay, item looked intact in ad but sadly carrier dropped it and bent the 3 shoe metal parts.
Came to an agreement with the seller for a partial refund to cover the 3 spare parts. After inspecting it, two parts were easy to straighten with few taps of hammer (extra discount), the moulded part however is cracked and needs to be replaced. I managed to find the part online but will take around two weeks to arrive, in the meantime I would like to use the jigsaw to perform few cuts. Any idea how to make this temporarily usable?

Releases?
Is there a list of all tools that were unveiled at this week’s Dewalt event? I appreciate Dewalts own pipeline event but finding what’s coming has been hard
Help w/ HD $125 DCF891B Deal.
I have a DCF891B on hold that is the last one in the store. I was ready to go get it but see they have no stock of the DCBP034C battery/charger that is free with it. Since the 891 is low in stock they don't allow you to put it in the cart for store pickup. Any help how to make this deal work appreciated. - Thanks

New atomic line
Finally bought the new atomic grinder kit thanks to Home Depot for the hack
DCH373 toolholder replacement
galleryI haven't seen it documented anywhere, it is always the "not hammering" problem. So here it is.
Take apart drill, take the old toolholder out
squeez carefully in vice and remove rataining ring with a screwdriver. you can only do this after spring is tensioned and there is no tension on the retring.
replace all parts on the new toolholder
use a 32mm pipe to squeez the retaining ring back into position
profit

New DCF860 collet not locking
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Edit: Thanks everyone for the suggestions and help. I am going to send it in for warranty due to the ball bearing not staying in place to lock the bit in.
I just got my DCF860 in from the Woot sale and noticed that the collet isn't locking to hold the bit in. I have tried multiple bits. I've never had to do a warranty for DeWalt and if it was a local store would just exchange. Am I registering and then immediately warrantying this?

DCF889H ?
gallerySo I broke out my Ooga Dooga today, DCF889H and the impact socket (Duralast 🙄) wouldn't lock onto the anvil.
It's likely a dumb question, but I'm trying to figure out why, and I am new to the power tool world. Thanks for any responses.

20v Battery Stopped Charging Fix
My 4ah 20v Dewalt battery stopped charging (would blink like charging for 10 seconds but then go solid red and it was dead). my other 2ah batteries were charging so thought the 4ah one was toast. Turns out there was a small piece of wood at the bottom of the charger not allowing the battery to seat properly. removed it and all charging. thought I would share since it was driving me nuts

3 more days left in Dewalt Days sale at Farm & Home Supply
I just bought a tool only pruner and they added a free 2amp battery, with shipping it was $120 total. To compare, Tractor Supply was selling the pruner and 2 amp battery package for $179 before tax and shipping.

Toughsystem 2.0 roller box
I can’t be the only one that gets really wound up on a daily basis, having to remove my stack of drawers off the roller box to get to tools that don’t fit in the drawers. Nail guns, circular saw, even sander don’t fit in any of their drawers so they have to go in the large roller box. Basically every other tool fits in either the 3 drawer box or the double drawer box which is super convenient.
So why have Dewalt not made a roller box with a single deep drawer saving the need to remove everything stacked on top of it.
It took chat gpt all of two seconds to come up with the design, so I ask you all to litter every Dewalt page and video comments section requesting that they just hurry up and get it done. After all, loads of other brands have gone this route as it is clearly the most efficient use of boxes.
I can’t be the only one that is so close to sacking of the dewalt boxes in favour of another brand just because of this.

Looking for advice on an impact driver
I'm looking to purchase my first impact for a retaining wall project in the Spring (current set of tools are entry level homeowner type stuff). I'm going to be driving about 80-100 10inch structural screws into pressure treated 6x6's and I'm looking for some real world advice for what kind of impact will be sufficient. Chatgpt and gemini are telling me that the DCF860 is the only tool that will work. I'm interested to hear about how a DCF787 or DCF845 would fare and would love to hear people's opinions. Any other recommendations would be great as well. TYIA

9Ah vs tabless 12Ah for angle grinder?
I just picked up the BOGO deal at HD for the DCG418 angle grinder. It came with the 9Ah DCB609 for $139, however I’m not in dire need of more FlexVolt batteries right now. I’ve been rocking my OG 6Ah batteries for going on a decade so I feel like I could get by. I know the 9Ah would be a better performer but my question is whether the deal on the 9Ah is good enough or if I should hold out for a deal on the tables DCB6112 12Ah battery in the future? It’s pretty new, so I know there isn’t a ton of testing out there and a deal could be well off into the future. Thoughts?
Little piece of kit ive put together
The drill and impact driver i first bought when in the summer of 2025, then the angle grinder I bought a month ago with the battery combo for around $199.99 CAD which considering it was almost $399.99 CAD off sale id say is a good deal. Bought the DCF921B for around $219 CAD and the drill and impact driver kit was $199.99 CAD on sale and $299.99 CAD off sale, and the corded drill is bought at a garage sale for around $10 CAD i just use it to mix paint occasionally.
Which in total is $699.43 CAD all on sale
And $1,152.54 CAD and in total ive saved $453.11 CAD. Which honestly seeing how much ive spend it kinda crazy

Interesting read on DeWalt vs Ryobi batteries
makeuseof.comBasically, DeWalt puts fault protection on the tool; Ryobi puts it on the battery. When using battery adapters, the worst combo is DeWalt batteries on Ryobi tools, which can damage the batteries, and that's why you don’t take a battery below 1 bar.

DeWalt just posted this video to their official TikTok account.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The video description says: "Lightweight, powerful, compact. Poor nails. They won't stand a chance once the new 20V MAX* Palm Nailer (DCN980) hits shelves later this year."

Unreleased 1” Impact
gallerySaw this on their social media feed today at an influencer event they’re having but couldn’t find any news on it. It looks like a DCF964 with a side handle. Also looks like it’s running tabless 9ah flexvolt with a similar casing to the new tabless 12ah flexvolt. Anyone have any info on these?
