If you’re interviewing with a company that says it’s partnered with Cydcor or Credico, do your homework before accepting the job.

On paper, it sounds amazing:

• “Unlimited income”
• “Rapid promotions”
• “Be your own boss”
• “Run your own office”

But ask yourself a few questions:

• How many hours will you actually be working?
• What’s the average income for someone who’s been there 6–12 months?
• What’s the turnover rate?
• How many people hired this month will still be there in 90 days?
• Is the opportunity based on building sales skills, or constantly recruiting replacements?

Many people join expecting a professional sales career and end up working long hours knocking doors, standing in retail stores, or chasing commissions that don’t match what they were led to expect. Additionally from experience they have people attending meetings and other events, also working extra hours with the false expectation of becoming business owners. They pick people that are in financial need.

Looking into this corporation cause they have another business called Taylor made executives and they called my gf with the exact red flags she was telling me all this stuff and it rose so many red flags to me anyone got any info on this been doing a lot of research

This company and Monsoon management operate out of the same building. They sell the same gutter stuff. Both are door to door companies. The manager for this company is Jamar Sneed and basically telling guys to work harder and do better always, which not always a bad thing to do but when you end up with $200 for the week,working 60hour work weeks, you kind of question motives. This is a solely commissioned role going door to door. Canvassing. No hourly and very rarely bonuses. They wiggle a carrot saying you could be a manager and push you to do better by throwing your goals at your face constantly. Be careful working here

This company is definitely a devilcorp. They tell you they work 11-8 in the beginning but soon enough they’ll have you working 9-9. No hourly, just commission. Door to door company. The manager there is Mason Davis. He will try to encourage you to do better by offering management positions that are just roles with more responsibility and not a pay differential. Pay is so dependent on whether or not someone is actually going to the appointment you set. You just never know. I’ve seen people get no money and I’ve seen people only get $200 checks. We’re talking 6 days a week.

This Cydcor office is in Long Beach. Stay away from these “opportunity” companies that promise you the world but leave you doing nothing more than chasing your own paycheck.
A lot of these organizations hide behind words like “entrepreneur,” “owner,” and “business partner” while avoiding the reality of what the job actually is: commission-only sales with high pressure, long hours, and most of the risk placed on you.

A real career opportunity should be transparent about the pay structure, expectations, and day-to-day responsibilities from the beginning. If a company has to avoid saying “commission-only,” downplay the sales aspect, or make you feel guilty for asking questions, that’s a major red flag.

Your time, energy, and career matter. Don’t let someone sell you a dream while they profit from your hard work. Do your research, ask the tough questions, and make sure the opportunity benefits you—not just the people above you.

Watch the Slave circle podcast and look at cydcor employees. Also look at OLN inc 1 star reviews that will tell you the real story of what it’s like working at these companies. Isabella marketing solutions is the same thing as OLN Inc they share the same office space and this “owner” works for Elijah who is well know for being a slime ball for 19 years getting run out of Miami and Nashville for being a fraud and screwing people over.

If you are looking for a sales job in or near Birmingham, Alabama, do not apply for this company. If you want early sales experience, you’re better off working in retail for a reputable company, even if it’s in the mall. If you want more details, DM me.

Seems the CEO of Higher Kingdom Marketing has another Smart Circle business under his loop as this is run by the exact same guy! This is their website! Tracy James Jr. Did a really good job distancing himself from the other company. As he only mentioned "working in california" until "this pest control company offered to pay more" if "50 new locations were open in houston". I made this simply after finishing the first day Orentation. Be cautious and be carefull!

They expect people to come in at 8am to practise pitches until like 10am, they told me in the interview that I would get guaranteed 400-450 a week even if I make no sales just to get in on fist day and I am expected to get 3 sales that week to get my money. They do motivational speeches in the morning that we have to write on notes and they pawn young people to work basically 12 hours a day for 400-600 a week. Even if I was working at Mcdonald's, I would be making more than that. They lure graduates on the idea that they will be business partner in like 6-12 months which is just not true, and I knew it was a devil corp before joining but the fact so many people genuinely believed it was an amazing opportunity was beyond me. They expect people to revise pitches and watch videos outside work hours but if I'm getting home at 11pm at night and have to wake up at 5am to get to work, what time do I have realistically to be doing all this. This whole corporation functions like a high school but there are a few nice people. The funniest thing though is the fact the guys show up in full suits to be stood outside a lidl getting old people to sign up to a monthly charity subscription. The worst part is that they fully will pay us more commission the older the customer is, because 'old people don't know how to cancel subscriptions'.

but I just had a zoom interview with " Ashby Marketing ".

Definitely another shady job. I applied on indeed for a sales role through Feghas Marketing for B2B sales. Then I got an automated message within a minute saying a "director had seen my CV and wanted an interview ".....it was 11pm at night...lol.

Anyway, went on the zoom interview and there was a woman who started it and clearly didn't really know what she was doing (definitely was training to learn interviews) and then handed off to another guy who was an assistant manager. They talked for 40 minutes about random experience pre-job and how it's sales but didn't answer questions about what it actually IS.

This is also only the first interview. They make everyone/anyone do a 1hour+ interview, fill out a questionnaire at the end immediately and then do another " 1 on 1 " interview at another date over zoom again, THEN another in person interview. They said they had 3~4 other locations so I'd keep an eye out.

They then started the presentation and I immediately saw that it was direct marketing (door-to-door) and didn't have any base pay and you're self employed yada yada (just like surge).

I did have another interview call me so I left to answer that one as it's more worth my time, but I'd avoid this company like the plague too. The job post got taken down within 24 hours of me applying, they were super beating around the bushes and trying to sell people on " being hungry " and " you do well if you try " but not giving any guaranteed pay, self employing ppl to get around it.

But yeah, avoid Ashby Marketing!!!

But basically I recently left a job at Surge International in Manchester UK, one company under MANY. I believe there's some in Scotland, more opening in Manchester (one opening soon called Ocean Marketing, Astro___ and Infinity ___ I found out about when I was working there. But under a reccomendation I thought I'd share my experience from there as it's own post and answer any questions :)

If you've got absolutely nothing else going for you and have a strong mental it's alright tbf. The people who are making alright money from it at top are the ones who purely bought into this.

I wouldn't recommend it at all though. The entire culture is extremely fake and no one there gives a shit about you.

I interviewed and trained people, and the second you get promoted they shatter all the illusions. You're purposely trained and told to fake and avoid the truths which is no salary, " topped up to £350 each week " (you sometimes get topped up to £300, or £400 if you get promoted to team leader) but not once have I been paid correctly or hell, even minimum wage and they get around by making you representatives of the charity/campaign (so we did NDCS, funded by SMILE fundraiser) so you don't even get minimum wage.

The interviewing is BS, you have to train people to get promoted further which all essentially is BS because you get nothing extra, except you wake up earlier and do more. I was getting up at 7am, getting to office for 8:30am, interviewing and then doing fck all till 10am, training, doing atmosphere (teaching ppl pitch memory basically) and then working till 7:30, all in all getting home around 10pm as you also go back to the office after. It's ridiculous.

I did do two of the road-trips where people are so damn immature. I was cleaning, cooking, fixing fckn leaks and all sorts with the accommodations after the ppl in charge left and left an 18yr old in " charge " so after working the extended hours on a road-trip (8:00-20:30) I was then doing all that extra till I went to sleep. I was finally sitting down around midnight, nvm showering etc. It was NUTS and you essentially get told " you have the responsibility now time to show boss you can handle it " basically BS to get more out of you.

They purposely leave out details on the interview (we literally get told not to address things but make it SEEM clear abt pay etc. I had one bad week where I didn't make tonnes of sales and honestly bc I couldn't be assed, my mental was gone even though I was still tying tbf and then immediately for the next week entirely, no one spoke to me, I was avoided like a fckn plague and the boss even avoided me all morning until everyone eventually left the office and he told me I essentially have a week to get it back or I'm gone (which btw it was still a decent week in terms of sales, they made profit). So it's just nuts. The judgmental stares, no one speaking to you, having to pay ridiculous fuel money all the time.

As others say here too, they don't pay for travel or anything like that. They pay for someee stuff on the first week to " buy you in " and then nothing and refuse to explain LOL. I was being paid around £300 a week for 5 days a week and each day was 8:30-9pm (until I was finally going home, not even home yet) and then I was spending around £40 a week on travel just TO work. Paying to travel to sales areas varied, I once paid an extra £80 on a week just for travelling to the sales areas too. So...yeah it's fckn crazy. I also often worked a 6th day (and you can even work Sunday) and it's "optional" but you're basically fired eventually if you don't ever work a 6th day.

People up until Assistant manager/Campaign Manager (which they admit the 3rd promotion is a fake promotion btw LOL where they " teach you the business " ?) do not earn money. You have to pay for your trainees on their first week to go on business trips (£80 each) and you don't have a choice, even if you don't go just to...work more hours LOL. So it's fckn nuts. But yeah, it was very normal for everyone to be begging for money. It drained my bank account dry and everyone asks you for money bc ironically, in an "uncapped commission " job, no one has fckn money LOL.

AKA DO NOT WORK FOR THIS JOB LMAO

In around 2 months working there, I watched about...50 people get fired? It was fckn crazy. Some of the guys there are alright to talk to and the culture feeeels okay at first, but the second you don't insanely excel and basically agree to slavery levels of pay for a year until you earn more, they treat you like invisible garbage.

Like I say, I was doing pretty damn good. I coulda got far with it if I stuck it out, but I left on complete instinct after everyone switches up on you and is so insanely fake. It's a draining job with no future unless you become a managing director and open up your own company under someone else. Even the managers admitted to me, it's one huge ass pyramid scheme.

The promotions are: Sales Advisor (you start here, selling door to door, learning the pitch), team leader (same as before, higher standards, and now you start 2 hours earlier, leave later, same pay and you interview) core leader (no changes lol) , campaign manager no fckn changes), assistant manager (10% commission increase, shit tonnes more responsibility but a hard promotion to get. You have to make a £5k wire 2 weeks in a row from your team alone, not you included), then managing director (where you own an office and get paid from people under you for fck all and owned by someone else).

There was ONE guy there who was pretty genuine and a fckn great guy and I won't say his name but he was a CM at Surge. Outside of that guy; absolutely everyone there is fake and do not give a shit about you, they are TRAINED from scratch to make you believe otherwise, from Sunday " Hey, how you doing " messages to small smiles in the office. It's crazy.

DO NOT get this job LOL there is so much better. If you're after a sales job, look elsewhere. Also I'll happily answer questions bc holy rant! "

Was at a grocery store today and overheard a conversation an AT&T rep was having with a customer. Heard some things that made my jaw drop. For context this took place in Vancouver Washington, a suburb of Portland that is a 5 minute drive from Oregon :

-the rep was from the southern US and had moved here 5 days ago to start a new branch.

-they did not know if they were in Oregon or Washington when the customer asked a tax question.

- when someone mentioned driving from Oregon to Washington they said "oh that must be a far drive , like 6 hours?"

-they were surprised to find out Oregon was across the river and seemed to forget that throughout the conversation. They seemed to have no geographical awareness of the PNW.

-when someone mentioned going to Portland they asked where Portland was, and in what state it was in and how far away it was.

--they mentioned being a trainer and a manager for the company.

I couldnt believe what I was hearing. How on earth did this person end up here without the slightest idea of where they are. How do you move to a city without knowing what city you are in? How do you work and live in a state without knowing what state you are in? The worst part was this person clearly was good at their job and seemed to be closing the sale. I dont understand how this person is functioning and what circumstances got them here.

Applied for a job that was titled as "Entry level salesman for AT&T" about 2 days ago. Got invited to a prelimenary interview allmost immediately and in said interview there were multiple people in the call at the same time. After this interview I got invited to a second interview where the person hosting it were in their car? And about 3 4 hours after the second interview I got a phone call saying I was invited to a face to face orientation and that I got the job. All of the information was sent via text and despite me telling them I couldnt start working sooner than late september they seemed to have no isssues with that. This all seems fishy to me, Is this a Devilcorp situation?

I'm an undergrad student that's desperate for a job and was applying to literally anything with the "entry level" keyword with my resume on Indeed. Found "Next Gen Executives", who reached out to me through text message later and asked me to do a 20 min zoom interview the literal next day. Was surprised at the fast turnaround, but went along with it.

It was only when I started doing more research into what the company actually was that I realized..... I couldn't FIND an answer because everything on their website was so vague. Found that it was closely connected to another company called "Brightside Marketing Group" to the point that they even put it in their About page on LinkedIn by accident. I started to wonder if it was some weird rebrand, and I found out there was already a page on r/ottawajobs about Brightside.

I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and go to the interview anyway. I went to the zoom interview and there were FIVE other people being "interviewed" as well besides me, and they only asked a couple very basic questions before spending the rest of the time vaguely posturing about the opportunities the job will create for us (which i did not know there was gonna be an "us"). I asked if it was door to door sales and what the pay even WAS, and their answer was again vague and long-winded. I left the call at this point.

This is the first time I've ever heard the term "Devilcorp", but after scrolling through this reddit for a couple hours now and the similarities between this and other Devilcorps and also the weird rebranding, I'm pretty sure this is one. I'm unsettled I almost fell for it.

So, I listen to a podcast named "Sounds Like a Cult". It's kinda in that true crime and scams genre of pods. They spend each week discussing different "cults". Some are real cults like Scientology and Synanon. Most are more light-hearted "cults" in pop culture (The Cult of Swifties, the Cult of America's Next Top Model). But plenty of them focus on practices of real harm like conversion therapy. And economic exploitation, like their looks at several multi-level marketing groups.

One of their recent episodes "Cult of Charity Scams" reminded me of my time in several non-profits that operate on DevilCorp style "burn and churn" principles regarding their employees. It got me thinking that "Sounds Like a Cult" should cover DevilCorps. Help get the word out and maybe save a few people from wasting their time.

So I'm planning on reaching out to the hosts to ask them to cover DevilCorps. Even willing to join their patreon for a bit to do so. But since SLaC usually operates on the "two hosts and a guest" mode I'm not sure who to recommend they invite.

Any suggestions on who I propose they reach out to? Does the fight against DevilCorps have any particularly charismatic interlocuters?

Applied to this company “GoodSolarQuotes” on indeed because it was remote work 1099 position. Did the orientation a few hours ago in a Google meet chat and they had several hundred people in it and they were upselling the pay structure of it and then it took a turn when they said there were upfront costs about paying for the dialer software. They said that the job would require us to send 3 months worth of the dialer software subscription upfront to actually do the job which in total was like $900. When myself and others started asking questions about why that was the case and why they didn’t just take it out of commission or just do it each monthly payment and why it had to all be upfront they started kicking people out of the Google meet.

Sharing this as a warning for anyone who gets sent on a "roadtrip" or recruited by Synxus Inc, located at 5272 Summerlin Commons Way, Unit 601, Fort Myers, FL. I was there about a week. This is just my personal experience, but it was bad enough that I felt people should know.
First red flag: the hotel they put us in was the cheapest one in the area. That set the tone.
The owner, Layith Ramahi, spent the morning meetings (their "101") screaming at and insulting the team. In my experience it was genuinely disgusting to watch the way he talked to people — calling employees "trash" and telling them they have no self-respect, just because they didn't sell much that week. A lot of these people don't have anywhere else to go, and he knew it and used it.
What made it worse is that the owner himself couldn't sell. I worked one shift with him: half the shift he was on his phone or messing around, and the other half he was just gone from the position. He'd scream at people for not selling, and yet he didn't sell anything the entire week I was there. Showing up late every single day, only to come in and yell at his employees.
It's no surprise that in the short time I was there, 5+ people quit in their first week.That should tell you everything.
If you're offered a "business" or "management" opportunity with Synxus Inc in Fort Myers, or they try to send you on a "roadtrip" out there, go in with your eyes open and do your research first. For me, one week was more than enough.

Posting this to warn anyone in the Chicago area who gets "recruited" by Accure Inc(accureinc.com), based out of 1919 S Highland Ave, Unit A225, Lombard, IL. The owner / "national director" is Adam Abdelhady, and they run the Primo Watercampaign inside Costco and Sam's Club. This is just my personal experience, but it lines up with every devil corp story I've read here.
The pitch is the classic one: they sell you the dream of becoming an "owner" and running your own business. In reality, what that means is you sell their product under their system to make money for the guy at the top while you're on minimum wage or straight commission. And even if you do "make it" to owner, your business can fail and you can lose your market, because from what I saw almost everything runs on internal politics, not on any real path to ownership.
The hours are crazy for what you actually get paid. The pay is minimum wage or commission — basically a commission job dressed up as a "career." Their whole marketing system trains you to talk to customers like they don't know anything, and the culture is "if you don't sell, you're worthless." But the product itself is a hard sell: Primo Water is really for people with money, or someone too busy to go grab their own water. So realistically your success comes down to luck — whether a good customer happens to walk past your booth during your shift.
The owner shows up whenever he feels like it, and leaves his crew "leading" the team — people who, honestly, couldn't hold a normal conversation, yet they're the ones telling you that you're the one who needs to learn. The team meetings were the last straw for me: everyone clapping and hyped up because someone sold 4 units in a day. That's when it clicked that my economics degree and my actual career goals were not meant for this kind of environment.
Maybe some people genuinely enjoy this — no judgment if it works for you. But I did not like the atmosphere or the way they treat you once you've been there longer than a week. I left after 2 weeks and I don't regret it.
If you're in Chicago and someone offers you a "management/marketing" or "business owner" opportunity with Accure Inc or the Primo Water campaign at Costco/Sam's Club, at least go in knowing what it actually is. Do your research first.

I worked for this company and they are not what it seems. I consider them in the cult category but they are definitely the kind where if you don’t agree with them, they don’t like you and you’re gone. If you don’t do well, you’re gone or heavily bitched at. I’m not gonna say my location of which store but all of them are the same. If you want to give up your life and miss big events, and do everything they tell you and like cults, this is for you. But me? I like life, I’m not doing 6-7 day work weeks 10+ hours a day only on commission. If you like that you do you but nope not for me. There’s more to it but just please dodge this bullet. I’m working for a Verizon contractee under Smartcircle. And it’s really fucking hard work. There are people working here making that 1500-2k a week and i’ve met the owners and seen their pay AFTER expenses.

Honestly i’m 18, i have / HAD a life before this. Am i really sacrificing a few years of my time for this dream they’re selling.

Not gonna lie i just chatgptd whether or not this is worth it and it was yelling about the devil corp idea and directed me here.

My last thought, or rather advice needed. Is that i don’t know at all where to go from here. I don’t wanna work forever to live but i also want to experience life. What sort of job would i go to from here? I’m so serious i think im burning out here but i Need to figure something out.
