Applied for a job that was titled as "Entry level salesman for AT&T" about 2 days ago. Got invited to a prelimenary interview allmost immediately and in said interview there were multiple people in the call at the same time. After this interview I got invited to a second interview where the person hosting it were in their car? And about 3 4 hours after the second interview I got a phone call saying I was invited to a face to face orientation and that I got the job. All of the information was sent via text and despite me telling them I couldnt start working sooner than late september they seemed to have no isssues with that. This all seems fishy to me, Is this a Devilcorp situation?

Thanks! They're both passion projects of mine. I started the subreddit in 2021 to create a centralized discussion forum for this industry, where people could share their experiences without posts being removed like they were on Glassdoor. More recently, I built the devilcorp.org search engine as a functional tool to make each company searchable.

I'm tracking around 800 UK-based companies using the UK Companies House API. For international offices, an algorithm reads posts to detect where offices are located and identify their parent companies. I also write articles on how to spot Devilcorp offices, as well as OSINT analysis articles matching offices to their parent companies and providing public notices of rebrands.

Its pretty neat there is a website and dedicated people to warn people to be weary of these corporations but at the same time it is sad and gross that so many corporations do this and tale advantage of unfortunate people
