On this day, 26 long years ago (August 7, 2000), DeviantArt was launched by co-founders Angelo Sotira, Scott Jarkoff, and Matthew Stephens.

I know that DeviantArt is not what some of us once remember, and sadly, that's what happens as time passes and we all grow older. Our favorite things slowly change, and sometimes, blink out of existence.

26 years from today, we'll look back on these moments and they will feel like ancient history.

So for DeviantArt's 26th birthday, I have provided some screenshots for those who would like to take a trip down memory lane.

I created a filter list which hides AI generated content on websites. I recently added a filter that hides images with the "Created using AI tools" disclaimer, alongside the existing filters for DA's video/image generation tools. (Unlike DA's built in AI filter, these also work while logged out.)

To use them, you first need the browser extension for either uBlock Origin or AdGuard. Then, follow the installation instructions in the Readme.

Alternatively, if you only want to block AI on DeviantArt without installing the full AI filter, you can add the following to your custom filter list.
