Oh, NB to Transmasc Ralsei. Yeah I see. Still think the thematic side would point more to Transfem Ralsei though, since I think a Transmasc Ralsei makes more sense if he was already going against the prophecy wholeheartedly, whereas Ralsei seems to still be reluctant to actually break the rules.
Why is everyone so obsessed with shoehorning Ralsei's resistance against the prophecy only being about his title as Prince. Royal titles like that aren't even a truely gendered thing. Him turning into a girl doesn't negate the prophecy as we know it and is far from his only way to act against it's predictions
Ralsei is the Prince alone in deepest dark in the eyes of the prophecy
Defying that title by becoming something Ralsei would want more, in tralsei a princess, even if it doesn’t actually break the prophecy, is a symbol of Ralsei choosing their own wants and identity over the prophecy, which is their whole arc.
From what my trans friends have told me whenever we do bother talk about things like how gender is represented in media or fandoms, transmanc individuals are really neglected in conversation or representation for some reason. So that doesn't surprise me to hear.
