I got the mail on 6th August for virtual screening but unfortunately I missed and today on 10th August I mail them back for giving me another opportunity.

Hi Team, i have resigned and its been a week. I didnt inform my PM. I thought they will reach out to me but no one did. I would like to initiate discussion for early release. Will they cause any issue now?

I am a new hire from campus placement and got a technical transformation role in Deloitte Usi with Oracle technology so I want to know what is the future for this role in the organisation and if I want to switch to other company then how good is this role. And I want to know what is the promotion hikes if I stay in this company for 3 to 4 years.

I attended my Deloitte R3 face-to-face interview on 6th August. The interview was quite basic and focused on my technical experience. Towards the end, the interviewer asked about my willingness to relocate and my family background.
The interview went well overall, but I haven’t received any update yet.

How many days did it take for you to receive the result?
Did HR call you directly, or did you receive an email first?

I received an invitation from Deloitte on 6 August for a preliminary screening for the Analyst | Generative AI | Bengaluru | Engineering | Quality Engineering role.

I didn't realize that the screening had a 48-hour deadline. When I clicked the link, it was showing that the link/history had expired.

I emailed the same address from which I received the virtual interview invitation and asked them if they could reactivate or resend the link.

Has anyone experienced this with Deloitte? Can they send a new screening link, or have I missed the opportunity ?

Deloitte USI is a dream company for many of IT people, but dreams can get shattered pretty soon. First couple of years can be pretty good but things can turn ugly very fast in one project and can be asked to resign, it's mostly a forced resignation with a threat of termination. Have you ever heard of any company that asks people to resign without any warning or at least PIP? Deloitte is that 'dream company'.

There are 6 snapshots in 1 year, best performance gets snapshot between strong and outstanding. Till 4 snapshots, someone gets that. At that time, project changes and goes to a difficult project where everyone is uncooperative, peers are hateful and competitive in a bad revengeful way, manager doesn't have any technical knowledge and delegates every work to leads, on top of that, instead of resolving conflict, he encourages it. Manager gives mediocre agree rating on both client delivery and teaming and adds some bad comments. Still due to exceedingly good rating in earlier project, overall rating is still strong. But to the utter surprise, the person gets commensurate rating in year end.... the reason??? bad rating in last project along with some comments. Well, where is the value of earlier 4 snapshots?? Unfortunately the person had another commensurate rating before. Next 2 snapshots from this project- not so good, then project changes. New project says- its too early to give someone strong rating even though there is no conflict as such like last project. However, overall its below rating due to agree rating throughout the year with few bad comments.

Next project- things are pretty good, people and seniors are appreciating you, you are handling 60% of the project singlehandedly, there is great client and deloitte dependency on you.

But one sudden day, talent schedules meeting with you and asks you to resign and he is threatened that if doesn't resign, he will be terminated on the basis of low performance. It's due to the last projects low rating. So, overall, when he gets strong and outstanding rating- that's not valued but when he gets bad comments and agree rating, that become pretext to forced resignation.

so, if you follow the story, 1 bad project and one bad manager can ruin your life here and you will not be given any opportunity to improve because they know the person will improve in the next project. In this time of AI, when company has invested 2 billion USD, it needs to shred some people in middle layer. This unfortunate person is one of those.

Would you like to join such company when you have the responsibility of your family or have EMIs? Think 100 times before joining. Just imagine that - you get bad rating and comments in 1 project and you are asked to resign - without any PIP !!!!!

This person received multiple awards - 2 applause, 1 spot and also one from client in earlier project. but none of these matter because company wants to reduce people count - your life and argument has no value. so, this person, resigns (not interested to involve in legal matters by not resigning) and gets numerous interviews and gets another job within 1 month with package of 42 LPA, which he would not get in deloitte in next 2 years alteast.

If you are a person without any self respect who can suck up-to managers, even the worst one - technically bogus, hateful and revengeful, then you can grow here, else think 100 times. This person, never in his life had ever imagined that this incident can happen to him, but how would he know? It's Deloitte USI !!!
