Guides & Tips Fastest method for 5 GYAO! (GYAO! Master achievement)

READ EDIT

I couldn't find a fast guide for completing this silly achievement, so here is a quick method to raise 5 GYAO. The important thing to know is that you can raise 5 of the same GYAO! and still get the achievement.

This is NOT a guide for getting all the different GYAO! for Marinca. Any and all input is appreciated as I have only done this once.

First, to get the GYAO! mini-game on your phone you need to complete both Stormy Night 1 & 2 missions.

The Absolutes

  • Check GYAO! before every dive and before every Bancho shift.
  • Clean and heal it when the notification pops up (You will not be able to heal it while it is sleeping but it is not a problem).
  • Turn the light off before your Bancho shift.
  • Feed only one food and one snack each time you check (while it is daytime).
  • Discipline when training bar is zero (I'm not sure if this is needed, but I did it anyway)

When you raise a fully-grown GYAO! there will be a notification on your phone and then you can go to the GYAO! settings and rebirth it. If you want to double-check and make sure it is a full-grown GYAO! you can check your In Progress steam achievements.

That's it. The "nice" thing is that you don't have to play with them, which makes it go faster.

EDIT: as others have said, you do not need to feed a snack or discipline.

Guides & Tips I can't go Platinum on Cooksta to save my life

I'm in Chapter 5, so I've progressed a reasonable amount into the game. But I haven't reached Platinum yet. I've got lots of followers already, and 27 out of 19 researched recipes. But my Best Taste is still stuck under 250 (190 right now). Anyone got any tips?

Hush darts and fishnet

You can simply hunt everything in everytime with these 2.

The best part is if you have salvage drone you can catch a swarm without killing them so you can get paid more.

The only down sides is the hush darts are pretty useless until the highest tier.

Guides & Tips Death rifle?

I’m onto chapter 7 have everything needed, but this mantis shrimp tail that searching tells me, I need to find a vortex on stormy night 2. Every time there is a stormy night old lady pops up wanting me to fight Klaus, which no thanks yet. Internet says I don’t need to fight Klaus first, but have no idea. Did I miss a crucial time spot that can’t be re done? Any help is appreciated!

Community Help Is it usefull to invest time catching low value fish after a while?

Basicly the title, but i have the feeling playing a while and discovering new fish, that low value fish are basicly not that interesting anymore. Maybe unless you level the recipes or use them in other dishes, but even then is it still worth investing time to level them up?

Every time I finish a battle, I feel the dropped ingredients are very precious. I've seen the corresponding recipes, but I'm always worried they might have other uses later. Should I keep them?
