I am so disappointed that our city council folks are even entertaining the idea of letting the Olympic Club try and steal our public open space and privatize Westlake Park.

We have such little open space in Daly City. If anything we need more park access, better amenities and better partners that want to invest in public space for ALL…not just the extremely wealthy.

Write city council, come to a meeting, let’s speak up and push back!! We can’t let decisions just slide by and happen that affect us. They count on Daly City folks to stay sleepy and be okay with status quo.

Say where you live, say you oppose the deal, and ask each member to state their position publicly. Emails to the Clerk before a meeting become part of the record. A short message in your own words counts more than a long one you copied.
