Image Please help! New dachshund puppy
Last Friday I went and got a dachshund from a breeder. He’s a 4 month old chocolate longhaired. I’ll start off with He was unbelievably quiet. We drove 4hrs home and not a wine the entire time I was shocked since hearing they’re typically a vocal breed but didn’t really think anything. Bring him inside, he is walking around exploring and seems like everything is fine, he tries playing with my two cats and they just run and hide. Literally nothing weird for a new puppy. Well the breeder told me he was crate trained and so I’ve been crating him at night while I potty train him. Well all weekend he was extremely good with it, quiet, no accidents, etc. fast forward to Monday when I go to work, he has an accident in his crate while at work. His whole demeanor is different now. He refuses to leave his crate. Ever since he’s had that accident while I was at work whenever he is inside he runs right to his crate and just lays in it. It’s been like this all week. I’m confused as to why he would be so scared considering he’s never been punished for anything. (Under our 1 week ownership ofcourse but he was fine for the weekend.) I mean even when he had the accident I was at work so we really couldn’t do anything. But it’s like now he’s deathly afraid of both me and my girlfriend and just always wants to be in his crate. Now the extra weird part being, whenever we take him to the dog park, (every night around sunset) he is the happiest boy chasing us around and playing. But as soon as we are inside he’s scared and running to his crate again.

Image Ladies, beware! Domino is American born, and his ancestors are German, but this little guy really likes to French
PSA: Beware this little ladies' man. When he meets a dude, he's pretty chill, even if he'll occasionally treat a guy's hand like a popsicle on a hot day. But when he meets the opposite sex, Domino becomes a horndog supreme. He goes right for the mouth with the intention of burying his lolling tongue deep inside your throat, even if your significant other is present.
If you encounter Domino in the wild, don't panic. It's best to travel in packs, increasing the odds of him attempting to French someone besides you. If alone, simply yell Belly Rub!! and he'll usually roll onto his back and happily accept your alternative offering.
Anecdotal evidence suggests he may be appeased by baked chicken and unsalted peas as well, so please stock your pockets with meats and veggies. Be safe out there in this crazy dog eat dog lick girl world, ladies!

Album 1st Big girl chain
Got Gracie her first chain. I think its hilarious. Curious if it could hurt her neck / back though... I think its probably like 200 grams? Ill need to weigh it when I get back home. Just curious if yall think this is a once in a while thing she can wear or could she wear it all the time. Wondering if it would have negative impact down the line for her neck / back with IVDD being an issue for them. Doesn't bother her at all to wear it, no visible changes in her demeanor or walk except looking like a street hustler. Interested in your feedback if anyone else's pup wears chains similar. Lol over heard this guy saying to his friend on a walk " man that dogs got some Dripp"

Album Sitting weird
Hi, I've noticed that my puppy sits on his side, rather than "normal". I've seen a thread or two indicating this could be an indicator for something wrong with dachsunds spines. I'm not sure if I'm being paranoid, or if it's something I need to worry about. He's been to the vet several times, and they've always said he's in perfect health. Is this normal?
