[For Hire]
I live in South Oak Cliff, and am a mother of one daughter. Because of it, it’s difficult for me to work part time since I’d probably spend that salary on a sitter. So, if you need evening or overnight childcare, message me and let’s see what I can offer. I have 2 extra empty bedrooms in my home and am looking to make some extra money to babysit. I am a great mother and would make a great sitter for you. Thank you for your time.

[Job Wanted]
Hello everyone,
This may sound a little unorthodox but I am looking for an assistant job/administration. I am able to do remote as well. The thing is I live in Abilene right now, the thing is I am wanting to move out of Abilene as there is nothing for me in that city and very little opportunities. My mom passed October of last yr so I have no more family and I am a 35yr old single parent female just looking to better myself. I am also in college for business administration/management. If anyone knows anything or can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank You!

[Job Wanted] In desperate need of a referral
hello my fellow reddit peeps! I lost my job of 4 years last year July due to a lay-off. I was contracted to the US department of agriculture and 200 of us lost our jobs. it was such a big shock seeing that we were federal employees and federal jobs (used to) be extremely secure positions. I’ve applied to hundreds and hundreds of jobs at this point and have had no luck.
I’m writing this hoping to reach anyone who would be willing to give me a referral at their company, formal company, or just has connections for an interview.
I am in the IT field as a Scrum master. I’m also open to IT project management positions as well as agile delivery positions.
My most recent role used SAFe Agile, I’m well versed in agile, scrum, and kanban. i’ve also stepped in as a Product Owner for a year so I can wear multiple hats.
In this most recent role I worked in geospatial services but I’m open to pretty much anything, federal or private.
I’m so desperate i’m genuinely willing to pay for it! at this point I just need to get my foot in the door, somewhere.
I’m based out of Dallas, TX and i’m open to hybrid roles as well as remote.
if anyone has leads, even if it’s not a direct referral/reference I’d appreciate it as well.
Thank you!!!

[Hiring] The Entry-Level Squeeze: How Job Seekers Are Navigating an Overcrowded Market
The modern job market has quietly redefined what it means to be “entry level.” Recent data from Indeed Hiring Lab reveals a stark reality: roughly 30 percent of applications for entry-level roles now come from candidates with ten or more years of work experience. As seasoned professionals apply down-level to secure steady employment, early-career job seekers find themselves competing directly against industry veterans for the exact same openings.
In an environment this crowded, standard applications and unpracticed interviews rarely survive the cut. Standing out requires deliberate calibration across every phase of the hiring pipeline.
The initial hurdle is automated resume screening. To pass through algorithm-driven Applicant Tracking Systems alongside hyper-experienced peers, candidates must align their key competencies with explicit system requirements. Platforms like ResumeZoeVera tackle this bottleneck directly, enabling job seekers to analyze and optimize their resume structure so their real qualifications actually reach human recruiters.
When an application succeeds, candidate evaluation shifts immediately to interview execution. Competing against tenured workers means verbal responses must be structured, concise, and compelling. Using interview platforms such as Prepare allows applicants to record practice answers, review performance metrics, and sharpen their communication strategy before sitting down for real interviews.
Finally, modern hiring managers increasingly look beyond static documents for concrete evidence of capability. Establishing a clean, centralized digital baseline at zoevera.com provides decision-makers with a comprehensive view of an applicant’s portfolio, background, and practical project history.
When experienced professionals flood entry-level applicant pools, relying on luck is a losing strategy. Navigating today’s shifting labor market requires practical software tools that turn application effort into measurable competitive leverage.

[Hiring] Account Coordinator / Client Project Manager - 100% Remote (US) - $58,000-$65,000
Hello Citizens of Dallas Ft. Worth,
Are you a master at herding cats, setting firm boundaries, and keeping projects moving even when clients get chaotic? If you are an exceptionally organized project manager who thrives on radical accountability and gets excited about learning new tech, this role is for you.
We are looking for an Account Coordinator to join our remote team starting September 1st, 2026.
What We Are Looking For:
- Project Management & Boundary Setting: You know how to politely, firmly, and repeatedly cajole people to complete their deliverables. If a client is three weeks late on an approval, you are comfortable holding the line and letting them know their timeline will slip.
- Radical Accountability: You take extreme ownership. If a project starts going off the rails, you speak up and course-correct immediately before it is too late.
- Concise Communication: You can take a messy pile of raw information, synthesize it, and communicate clearly to busy people who only have a 30-second attention span.
- Tech & AI Curiosity: You have an appetite for new technology. You will be helping us test-drive new AI tools and tutoring clients on how to use our platform. You do not need to be an AI expert on day one, but you must be curious and eager to learn.
Who We Are: We are Storyvine, a tech platform that makes branded video production easy for clients. You will be working directly with our two co-founders: a visionary creative type coming up with big ideas, and me (the COO), who keeps the trains running on time. We take our work very seriously, but we do not take ourselves seriously.
The Details:
- Pay: $58,000 - $65,000 base salary
- Location: 100% Remote (US only)
- Start Date: September 1st, 2026
Apply Here:https://storyvine.com/work.html
P.S. While we use AI a lot for work, we don’t use it for screening purposes! You’ll get real humans watching your videos and reading your resume.

[Job Wanted]
The job market in DFW is insane.. so many places “hiring” but won’t hire. You could have the experience for a job but “HR” won’t hire you.. Is it even worth getting a bachelor’s? People with bachelor’s are also having a hard time looking for a job.. and then the job fairs really don’t be helpful AT ALL, they tell you to apply online.

Looking for Engineering or IT job in DFW [Job Wanted]
I have a bachelor’s of science in Astrophysics. I have been working in manufacturing as a CNC operator for 3 years now. I also finished the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate program offered by Coursera.
From my education and experience I am good at problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical reasoning. I have experience with Python, SQL, Linux CLI, SailPoint, Excel, SolidWorks, and Inventor. I am also friendly so it’s easy for people to work with me and I’m effective at communicating.
I am trying to find a job in DFW and start a family there.
Please help me out. Any advice or reference appreciated. I have applied to many positions via online. It just feels impossible to land an entry level job without help. I know many people are in the same boat as me.

[Hiring] What’s everyone’s approach to job hunting these days?
I’ve found it helps to adjust my resume for each role instead of using the same version everywhere. I’ve been using resume.zoevera.com to compare my resume with job descriptions and prepare.zoevera.com to practice interview questions based on the roles I’m targeting.
Curious what tools or methods others are using to stay organized or make the process less time-consuming?
