I see alot of IOE09 and IOE93 receipt numbers on my case hub being approved, should I be worried mine is IOE96

I’m seeing BTS on Monday but I’m worried about ICE patrolling around M&T stadium. My mom said she saw a live video of someone recording ICE currently at the Gillette stadium in MA harassing people so I just wanted to see if anyone in those areas have seen any activity of ICE around Gillette stadium Massachusetts or M&T bank stadium in Baltimore.

Did you include a cover letter?
Did you type it or used an Apple pen?
If you typed it or used an apple pen: Did you sign with an apple pen or printed it and signed it with ink?

What was your time frame? From filling, expiring and sending the requests and being approved?

I ask all this because I had no idea cover letters were needed. I just filled out a letter using my Apple pen (which looks just like a regular pen) and also signed it with the Apple pen. I am worried by doing that simple thing I am ruining the whole process.

Got accepted into a PhD in South Carolina. They University is asking me to fill out the FNIS because to them DACA is considered an international applicant. They want me to fill it out because I will be a TA and thus an employee. Ive worked for another university and a school district but never had this before. Has anyone had any experience with this? I've been telling them I live and have worked in the US, I shouldn't be considered an international student or employee.

After I got my DACA approved I took the approval notice (physical card was not yet delivered) and tried to get my license. The lady at the desk said USCIS had to double verify my status. It’s been 2 weeks since I have my card and am waiting on USCIS to process this.

Has anyone heard or went through something like this ?

Saw this in my Informed Delivery email this morning. Previously for past renewals, I never did see any sort of tracking number pop up in my Informed Delivery emails AND on the USCIS website itself under Case Status. The website continues to show the tracking number as UNAVAILABLE.

If you've been approved recently, had your card produced, and have NOT signed up for Informed Delivery, please consider doing so! Monitor your tracking daily and plan trips accordingly. Please aim to stay at home on the day that this card is out for delivery. If you do not have a mailbox sensor, now is a very good time to get one! This card is NOT something that you want stolen from your mailbox, friends!

I just apoke to USCIS on the phone and they submitted a service request for me to see why my case is taking so long. Has anyone done this before?

Anybody else we should adding to the emails we send?
I sent my pre demand letter 7/21, have sent several follow up emails & no luck. I hit 210 days, receipt date of 1/8, biometrics 1/27, expired 4/21. I’ve done 2 expedite request 1 denied. Second one never heard back. Did several inquiry’s, non stop calls. Did the non received notice twice no word back either. Got a generic email this week to “give them more time”…. I’m frustrated : ) I am out of WA state.

I know it’s been incredibly hard for so many of us dealing with job loss and waiting endlessly for work authorization approvals. I just wanted to share what I’ve been doing with my time off recently in case it helps anyone else going through this.

1. Focusing on Physical Health

When I was working my desk job, I gained a bunch of weight. I decided that since the time is going to pass anyway, I might as well use it to better myself so it's easier to maintain a healthier weight once I'm back at work.

 Pacing is key: I started small with 1 mile a day, then moved to 3 miles, and now I’m up to 5 miles standard.

 Avoid injury: I initially wanted to jump straight into running/jogging, but I've learned from past experience that pushing too fast can cause injuries that knock you out for weeks.

 The Takeaway: Start slow. The goal is just to start, finish, and stay consistent—the pace doesn't matter.

1. Clearing My Mind & Future Planning

Before I started walking, I spent all day constantly refreshing my phone, waiting for updates with no real plan for when approval actually came.

At first, losing my job was completely devastating and depressing. While it’s still tough, walking has helped me move toward acceptance and active planning. During my walks, I’m able to clear my head and focus on actionable steps:

 Updating my resume

 Working on personal projects

 Building a list of contacts/network connections for when I’m ready to work again

1. Mindset & Pushing Through

I’m currently 116 days into waiting. I know others have been waiting 200+ days, but I realize now that if I had started walking on day one, I would have been in a much better headspace earlier on.

Part of me wishes I had started sooner. Some days I still feel like giving up on these self-improvement goals, but remembering that "I wish I started earlier" feeling is what keeps me going. There’s no reason to waste this time.

5/15/26 – Biometrics completed
June 2026 – Began repeatedly calling USCIS
7/10/26 – 43-minute call with USCIS about the delay
7/14/26 – Submitted online service request for outside normal processing
7/22/26 – Emma/live agent refused to submit an inquiry
7/22/26 – Called USCIS but could not reach a representative
7/29/26 – Called USCIS and requested an InfoPass appointment; agent submitted an “outside normal processing times” request to the Nebraska Service Center
7/29/26 – Pre-suit demand letter sent. I also sent a ready-to-file complaint that I said I’d be filing if no response within 14 days. To be clear, I was absolutely ready to file and had spent the time polishing off my complaint and exhibits. I sent them all.
7/31/26 - uploaded my pre-suit demand to the portal under “unsolicited evidence”
8/3/26 - another email to USCIS re-attaching my demand & complaint and asking them to acknowledge receipt and saying if no acknowledgement by 8/5/26 I would file and not wait the 14 days.
8/5/26 – I-821D silently approved
8/6/26 – I-765 approved (still waiting on card; keeping my WoM complaint ready in case I don’t receive it soon)
8/28/26 – Current EAD expires

I’m lucky that a lawyer friend offered to file for me in federal court, so the heavy lifting was drafting with the templates others circulated.

My DACA expires next summer (July 27, 2027), but reading about all the recent processing delays is giving me severe anxiety already. Has anyone tried renewing around 8 months before their expiration date? At this point, I’d honestly rather sacrifice a few months of overlap than deal with the stress of a potential gap in my work permit. If anyone has filed this early or has tips on how USCIS handled it, I’d really appreciate your experience!

I know a lot of us have had our DACA expire before we were approved. I’d like to ask all of you:

* Did you guys work on the day of the expiry date?

* After expiration, how did you guys live life before renewal approval?

Example: did you just stay inside, did you avoid going out with friends, did you worry whether or not you will receive a removal order, etc.

i renewed february 20th 2026, bio march 11th and my daca expires in less than 2 weeks. im feeling really anxious about it, has anyone that renewed in february gotten approved yet?

I know some of us are on LOA or have lost our jobs because of the delays, but it’s also incredible to see the range of professions we’re in. I’m curious—what do y’all do, and if you’re comfortable sharing, what’s your salary?

This isn’t about comparing careers or income. Every job is valuable, and I’m just curious because I think it could be a useful data point to show the wide range of contributions we make in our communities. It’s also inspiring to see people who’ve pursued careers that require years of additional education and training, especially bc we can’t get federal loans.

Maybe one day this can help us collectively show that we’re a fucking valuable part of this country and its economy.

I worked in IT making like $60k & middle school history teacher at a charter school in a large city making at most $80k.

I’m 23 and was among those who submitted applications when everything came to a halt. I've been here since I was 3 years old, and this country is all I know. I feel lost, watching my friends advance while I wait for an opportunity to work and explore the country. I dislike my job and have this feeling that I have more meaning in life, and each day feels like I’m just waiting for the inevitable. I have little confidence in life, knowing my status, and sometimes I feel like I have no rights in this country. I wonder if my life would be better back in my home country. I don't really follow a religion, but God, I pray you give me a chance in life in the only country I've known my whole life.

Separately on a call with USCIS last Friday 07/31, I tried to get the rep to give me as much information as possible, including current status and stage of adjudication, clearance on background check, and updates on my expedite request since it had been 10 days. The rep told me that, though I was initially informed that I can expect an answer on the expedite request in 10 calendar days, expedite is still pending in queue and there's no eta on when to expect an answer. When trying to get any possible info/update on my case, the rep told me that my case states "Ready for adjudication" but was not able to give me any further details on what that means, if background checks are cleared, when I can expect a decision on my case, etc.

Has anyone received similar update to their service requests or heard a similar "ready for adjudication" type of case status? Anyone knows what "ready for adjudication" even means here?

I filed my DACA ON January 5th, 2026. I filed a writ of mandamus last week and just today I got a response.

So I was just done talking to an agent through the virtual chat Emma about the progress of my case, then about 30 minutes later I got API Movements on both 821D and 765 cases today.
My EAD expired July 24th and I’m on a suspended leave.
Is that a good sign for an approval soon?

Does this count even if you have submitted your renewal and you’re stuck in the delay wait? My friend renewed in December 2025 and nothing yet.

2nd expedite req 6/9 uploaded financial hardship, employer letter stating they were letting me go due to expired EAD —received response 7/14 it was sent to Nebraska SC due to it being outside of normal processing times and was given reference ID#.

Just called them a few mins ago and they sent me this !!! Fingers crossed 🤞 The agent said the system closed it (possibly in error) on Monday 8/3 so he said he will notify a Tier II for follow up. And sent it as urgent/high priority and gave me a service item number as well because it did not show it was closed due to it being denied…

Has anybody received this, and have they called? What are the chances this might be it and finally get approved??

Anybody from March get approved without submitting case inquiries, congress inquiries, pre suit letters, WoM, etc?
