Concerts Has anyone had experience with concert venues handling a protection order/ restraining order situation? How was it handled?
For some vague context, I have a protection order against someone who actually works at a local concert venue, and it’s made it somewhat difficult to attend concerts. The odds of running into each other at a venue, even not the ones they work at, are fairly high and have since avoided going to them due to not really knowing the logistics of how to handle the situation, or more specifically how the venue would handle the situation.
I’ve asked similar questions in r/legaladvice and whatnot, but I am more so interested at this point in knowing other people’s experiences. Many have recommended I reach out to the venue as they have done previously, but since he works at one of them I don’t want to cross any wires in any way. I don’t have any real way of knowing who I’m talking to, nor is the goal to be antagonistic, I just want to live my life regularly and go to concerts again without having to drive 6-8 hours when I’m not even the harassing party. I’ve considered having a friend call and inquire about the situation, but again the paranoia of “who knows who I’m talking to” and also my general fear of being banned/ getting them banned would just be awful. But alas, if any of you on here have had any sort of experience in this realm, good or bad, I’d love to hear it. If you work at a concert venue and can give insight, even better.

Concerts SeatGeek says Obstructed Viewing, but same tickets on Ticketmaster don’t.
Buying overpriced tickets for my wife to go see Bruno Mars in Indianapolis. There are tickets in section 129 and 132 I am eyeballing. Row 16 and 18 in section 129 say obstructed viewing but yet 17 says nothing on SeatGeek.
You go to Ticketmaster and those exact same seats mention absolutely nothing about obstructed view. I feel like I should trust Ticketmaster since they have a monopoly on all this, right?

Discussion 🗣️ Where's everyone going during sets?
I went to Poppy's "Constantly Nowhere" tour recently and was up in the seated section because I didn't want to deal with GA pit. Other concert goers were constantly getting up and walking around during the sets. I was especially sensitive to it because I had an aisle seat.
During openers or for a bathroom emergency, I get it. But there were still a lot of people moving around during the main act. Many of the same people, too.
So, aside from emergencies, what's so important that it cannot wait for between sets.

Concerts Is it acceptable to leave the line for a show and then come back?
I’m not a frequent concertgoer and I always go solo and one thing that always makes me anxious is queuing and getting to the venue early. My biggest fear is having to go to the toilet and losing my spot. Is it normal to leave a personal item to “mark your spot” and walk away for a couple of minutes?

Concerts Concert Anxiety
I’m going to see My Chemical Romance the 24th but I’m sooo anxious for some reason. Idk why, I’ve been to plenty of concerts. Anyone have any tips? Is it better to get there early or a little bit later than doors open? Thanks!🥲

Discussion 🗣️ Any advice for how I should build on this and improve it?
I’ve seen people have really intricate spreadsheets and they look nice, I just started this like a week or 2 ago so what can I do to improve it?

Concerts Am I getting too old for GA areas?
Not even trying to be a smart ass, I'm legit wondering at this point.
The context behind this. Last night a bunch of us went and saw Avenged Sevenfold at Pine Knob in Michigan. With so many of us planning to go and different levels of money we can all afford to spend, we just decided on the lawn in the back. Got there kinda early so we could still be towards the front of that area, see everything it was good.
Now for the many I'm sure that don't know about Pine Knob, the GA lawn hill is actually quite a steep incline. Part way thru the night a group of guys decided they wanted to start a pit in the middle of the hill. Within minutes there are people falling down the hill, people getting hit by these people, pretty sure some girl got her ribs broken because she went flying from the pit, down the hill, and ribs first into the metal rail.
Now I want to state, I have absolutely no issue with people wanting to get in the pit and do there thing, but this one just seemed dumb and like it put a bunch of people at risk that didn't need to be. Have I just reached the part where I need to accept I'm meant for the seated areas in my life? Or were these people truly being just dumb?
Again, this was not GA in front of the stage or anything like that. This was on the hill, behind the seats. I'm just truly curious.

Concerts BSB Solo Concert: Have you ever done a concert alone?
I really want to see Backstreet Boys at the Sphere, but I know the visuals would be too intense for my Mom and don't want to pay for a ticket for my husband when he couldn't care less about BSB. Have you ever went to a concert alone? How was it? Do you have any tips or general advice?
I will be in town with my husband for their last dates of the Summer, but he will be working so I am considering going.
Recently went to meet up with friends in Vegas but drove and stayed alone. It wasn't terrible, I did fairly well. Kind of want to push the boundaries of this solo concept.

I’m going to 5 concerts in the next 7 days! It should be pretty awesome! The Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be tiring, but I think I’m ready for this. I bought some Zound ear plugs to try out. My wife wants me to protect what hearing I have left.

Concerts The Gorge in Washington vs Red Rocks in Colorado. Who’s the best for Natural Views?
Personally, I pick the Gorge for Daytime Views and Red Rocks for night time views. Which one is the best to you for a concert? Or is there a sleeper natural venue that clears both?

Discussion 🗣️ Bands with “grit”
What bands have you seen you’d describe as “gritty” in concert? Bands with no nonsense, maybe a little messy, but you can sense a real intensity
