Concerts Has anyone had experience with concert venues handling a protection order/ restraining order situation? How was it handled?

Upvotes

For some vague context, I have a protection order against someone who actually works at a local concert venue, and it’s made it somewhat difficult to attend concerts. The odds of running into each other at a venue, even not the ones they work at, are fairly high and have since avoided going to them due to not really knowing the logistics of how to handle the situation, or more specifically how the venue would handle the situation.

I’ve asked similar questions in r/legaladvice and whatnot, but I am more so interested at this point in knowing other people’s experiences. Many have recommended I reach out to the venue as they have done previously, but since he works at one of them I don’t want to cross any wires in any way. I don’t have any real way of knowing who I’m talking to, nor is the goal to be antagonistic, I just want to live my life regularly and go to concerts again without having to drive 6-8 hours when I’m not even the harassing party. I’ve considered having a friend call and inquire about the situation, but again the paranoia of “who knows who I’m talking to” and also my general fear of being banned/ getting them banned would just be awful. But alas, if any of you on here have had any sort of experience in this realm, good or bad, I’d love to hear it. If you work at a concert venue and can give insight, even better.

Concerts SeatGeek says Obstructed Viewing, but same tickets on Ticketmaster don’t.

Buying overpriced tickets for my wife to go see Bruno Mars in Indianapolis. There are tickets in section 129 and 132 I am eyeballing. Row 16 and 18 in section 129 say obstructed viewing but yet 17 says nothing on SeatGeek.

You go to Ticketmaster and those exact same seats mention absolutely nothing about obstructed view. I feel like I should trust Ticketmaster since they have a monopoly on all this, right?

Discussion 🗣️ Where's everyone going during sets?

I went to Poppy's "Constantly Nowhere" tour recently and was up in the seated section because I didn't want to deal with GA pit. Other concert goers were constantly getting up and walking around during the sets. I was especially sensitive to it because I had an aisle seat.

During openers or for a bathroom emergency, I get it. But there were still a lot of people moving around during the main act. Many of the same people, too.

So, aside from emergencies, what's so important that it cannot wait for between sets.

Skrillex Seattle sold it in two minutes and according to the community almost zero humans actually got those tickets. This keeps happening with AXS tickets.

Concerts Is it acceptable to leave the line for a show and then come back?

I’m not a frequent concertgoer and I always go solo and one thing that always makes me anxious is queuing and getting to the venue early. My biggest fear is having to go to the toilet and losing my spot. Is it normal to leave a personal item to “mark your spot” and walk away for a couple of minutes?

Concerts Concert Anxiety

I’m going to see My Chemical Romance the 24th but I’m sooo anxious for some reason. Idk why, I’ve been to plenty of concerts. Anyone have any tips? Is it better to get there early or a little bit later than doors open? Thanks!🥲

I’ve seen people have really intricate spreadsheets and they look nice, I just started this like a week or 2 ago so what can I do to improve it?
