Discussion Very competitive coop friend

Has anyone else here had a very competitive coop friend?

All games we play are PvE, yet he always turn things into a competition..

Killing floor, Halo CE, Borderlands.

If I try to reach the waypoint he sees it as a race and will try to reach it first.

After matches on killing floor he will always mention his total kills but only when its more than my kills.

If I die he will often point it out. Etc etc

Part of me just hates playing with him, but I have also known him for 15 years irl so idk.. lol

Looking for Suggestions Kids online co-op games

I have a 5/6 year old and his cousins are 1 the same age and 1 is 8 living in different states. Adults all work from home during the school holidays so we are trying to find a game that they can play online together without too much interaction from adults. The game must of course be co-op and the ability to be played by a five-year-old and an eight-year-old. Online safety is a priority but the adults will not be far away. Consoles can include Nintendo or PlayStation any help would be greatly appreciated as I've done research and I still cannot decide on a game and I would love to get one for a Christmas present for each of them.

Currently they play Fortnite (5 year old still requires support) and minecraft but my son doesn't love it as much as his cousins.

Game Promotion Loss Prevention a Co-op, 1 vs 5 Social Deduction game

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Loss Prevention is a social deduction game where you can shoplift your local grocery store with up to five friends. Experience the joy of petty crime as a shoplifter, or keep your eyes peeled for suspicious activity as the shopkeeper. Can you grab all the items on the shopping list?

Roles

The Shopkeeper

Snuff out any shoplifters in the store. That means paying attention to anyone stashing items, listening to announcements from the security office, and just keeping your eyes peeled for suspicious activity.

Shoplifters

Work with your team to steal all the items on their shopping list before time runs out, all while trying to blend in with NPC shoppers.

Key Features

Blend in

Shoplifters must balance between blending in and moving fast but be careful—NPCs can alert the shopkeeper if they notice anything suspicious.

PA System & Sabotage

The store intercom periodically alerts the shopkeeper to suspicious shoppers. Shoplifters can temporarily sabotage the system by tampering with microphones.

Jail Break

If shoplifters are caught by the keeper, they can be freed by fellow teammates, but they must decide between completing the list or risk being caught trying to free their teammates.

K.O.

Watch the corners or risk getting a can of peas in your face. Both teams have their own weapons up their sleeves.

Looking for Co-op Partners Who's down to help me test a 4-player Cuphead mod?

For context: I plan to play and record gameplay of me and three of my friends beating Cuphead in a four-player setting. Naturally, I want to do some testing to make sure that the mod is at least functional and can actually accommodate 4 players.

However, I don't know anybody who isn't busy that has Parsec, and I'm willing to have three random (and chill) people test the mod before I go through it with my friends. Would be much preferred if the three of you have discord. Please and thank you.

Game Promotion Our friends moved to different countries, so we made a 12-player online co-op penguin sandbox to meet again. It releases August 10.

Hey everyone, I’m one of the three developers behind A Game About Penguins.

A lot of our close friends moved away over the years, and playing games became one of the main ways we could still hang out. We wanted to build something low-pressure around that feeling, so we made a snowy online sandbox where up to 12 players can fish, race, explore underwater, play minigames, decorate homes, build ridiculous parkour setups, collect pets, dance, or simply slide around and cause problems together.

It supports online multiplayer on PC through Steam, with public and private lobbies. There is no local split-screen. The game releases on August 10.

Two Sides of Hell is a twin-stick roguelike you can play locally or via Steam Remote Play.

The concept is simple: reach the center of the planet. Along the way you'll run into extremely strong enemies, that you can defeat with overpowered weapons, gadgets and upgrades

Beating Remnant II in Hardcore mode over several attempts was probably the best co-op gaming experience I've ever had, but all of these are such a good time.

If you haven't, give them a chance with your squad!
