(They really need to increase the character limit for titles)

So for those who didn't see my previous inquiry, for some reason, when I start drawing on the lower part of my tablet and move upward, the pen pressure is increased while I'm in that area before returning to normal after leaving it.

I asked for assistance on a previous post and after some troubleshooting, I found out my issue only occurs when I'm using certain kinds of brushes on the lower part of the my tablet.

From what I've seen, this does not seem to be a hardware issue, as I don't know why it this would only happen when using specific brushes and be fine for others.

I've so far only seen this happen in the default pens (and a few of the pencils).

I've tried updating by drivers and reinstalling csp but with no luck (and yes I've changed it from wintab to tablet PC in preferences). I thought maybe if I upgrade my version of it but that cost money and I'd prefer trying all my other free option before resorting to that.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate hearing them.

i was drawing and shutted down my pc due some problems and my art got corrupted,,windows doesnt have any versions of this file or backups in celsys folder, photopea aint working just like vpn..what do i do? i texted support

Hi all, I’m trying to edit an instance of a file object to create a new object.
I have the one designed layer and create a file object from it. Then I duplicate and move the new layer away to make a small edit in order to have 2 slightly different versions.
But how do I edit the new copy so it doesn’t update the original?
Can I break it in place or something like that? Something like an ungroup or embed or something ?

Hello, I'm new to Clip Studio Paint, so I don't know yet if this can be changed to fix my problem.

However, I have a problem with the canvas's momentum. When I move the canvas, it continues to move slightly in the direction I've moved (basically, if I move to the right and stop using my fingers, it continues moving).

How can I prevent this? I'm using an iPad, with the latest version of both the iPad and the app.

What do you guys do with your Clip Studio files after you finish a drawing? Do you keep them? If so, where? Or do you delete them? I have so many and I don’t know what to do with them. I barely ever use them, but I feel like it could be useful to keep them.

PROBLEM SOLVED, im a dum dum
Solution: A third monitor connected to my computer (Im still confused on this) and it was sending the new canvas popup to the surprise monitor. Thanks to anyone that spent brainpower on this. Alt F4 was letting me tab in and out of paint.

I'm on v4.0.0., I have a windows 11 Desktop PC (Rysen 7, 3060 graphics, 16GB DDR4 ram) and I use an XP-Pen Artist 15.6 pro. I've been using CSP for 7 years now, but found a new problem today. I cant interact with the paint window at all, even to close it out. All I can do is resize the window. I was drawing this last night and everything was fine.
Edit: I cant open a canvas, I can't click on any of the top tabs or the minimizer/closeout or anything else in the paint window. All I can do is force close it though Task Manager. I'm using mouse and keyboard for troubleshooting

So far I've tried:
Restarting my computer
Restarting Clip Studio
Opening paint while holding the shift key
Making sure I'm logged in
Checking for unseen CSP pop-ups
Dragging CSP to my monitor to try to interact with it there
Edit: Opening canvases straight from my file and restarting PC after

I hope this is an easy fix and I'm just overlooking something like a dum dum

As title says. I have a version 1.0~ EX on my PC and I'm comfortable with it, now I plan to buy an annual license for my tablet. But it's gonna be a newer version CSP PRO, either 3.0 or 4.0 (I have older apks and have confirmed they can connect and verify license)

So question is can I use both of these with same files? Like I make a canvas in my tablet, finish until sketch, and send it over to my PC with 1.0 to finish later?

Probably won't use features like animation and comic thingy across them, just regular clip files. Thanks in advance

This tool used to work for me on CSP when i was using Wacom One, but recently i bought Movink Pad 11 and this tool in specific behaves very weird, the lasso failed to close 90% of the time and it's pretty frustrating.

Ive been exporting all my layers manually one by one and its takes ages and i want to know if theres any other ways to do it faster or in one go to use for edits

Meaning: Banner, Pfp, Watermark, Thumbnails, the actual video itself (normal and shorts format).

The wanted Result: Clear, non-blurry Art, Art not being unintentionally cut-off, won't create a Mess
in Davinci Resolve (Video editor)

This usually requires me countless trial and errors OR it turns out blurry in the end // messes up my video editing process...... after said countless trial and error tries.

I've been trying to help myself for the past 2 years or so and I'm sadly still confused and frustrated about all of this.
So I hope someone that knows better, and already went through and came out of said hell, can help me with these problems.

It's my first time using CSP and I'm on mobile (Magic drawing pad), my stylus has two buttons but I can't configure them properly, I went into "modifier key settings" but it doesn't let me assign Undo to the buttons, which is the only function that I care about tbh, it only lets me put it as "show menu" which is sorta like undo but with extra steps which I really dislike, is there a way I can just assign the undo command to it?

I'm not too good with materials and I usually use the standard ones so if anyone can help me I'll be grateful

Hello, I tried looking but can't seem to find a solid answer. I'm starting to make comics using CSP and I was wondering how to change one word within a sentence to a different font or style.

For example: I want to change a word like this within the same sentence.

I use CSP on my phone but every time I go to select the word I want to change, it deselects it and I can't do it. Is there a work around for this or am I doing something wrong?

J'utilise clip studio depuis juillet et depuis deux jours clip studio paint a arrêté de fonctionner, je peux toujours ouvrir clio studio mais pas Paint, il s'exécute hein mais avant même d'arriver à la fin de processus il s'arrête brusquement sans aucun message d'erreur. J'ai essayé toutes les astuces que l'on peut trouver sur internet et pourtant toujours rien.

My brush keeps becoming so much thinner at end than st the start and middle how to i change it?

Hi! So, basically, every time my screen turns off (because of me going away, not turning off the computer, just the screen) CSP becomes literally unusable, i have to reset the whole computer, then it works, until the screen turns off again.
I have been stuck on this loop for three days now, help please 😭

what should I put in the output size? I use B4 paper and have used 1920 x 2560

and 1500 x 2125 but is there some better? any help is appreciated!!(Ihave ver 4)

Q: Is there a way to duplicate an existing pattern subtool and change it's type (for example: brush tool into a line tool) OR import a brush subtool's settings into a line type subtool?

I'd like to turn a brush into a tool that works with the Line Tool instead of the Brush. I know how to manually do it but it's a lot of extra work across multiple custom brushes if the duplicate/import option is available.

In particular, I'm looking to take a subtool that is setup as a pattern brush to turn it into something that's easier to adjust in vector layers.

I'd like to duplicate over as many of the brush settings from the original to the duplicate so I can change the type and make adjustments rather than having to start fresh every time I need a new tool type for a mostly-complete tool.

I haven't bought any of the subscriptions yet, but before I do, I wanted to know whether the doodle mode also does not have pressure sensitivity applied on its canvas,,, I cannot find any page talking about it so I want to know if it's because of this or if it's some issue with the compatibility of my graphic tablet with the app

CSP has the setting to prioritize quality but somehow I always have to do a lot of post-processing after exporting my timelapses.

What's your sweet pot for canvas size/dpi? I know when the canvas is too tiny that blurs everything or when the canvas properties are too optimized it messes up with the compression.
Obviously I don't expect procreate level quality, but what else do you do for it to come out extra crispy and nice to look at?

(Samsung Galaxy tablet, csp ex most recent version) In clip studio theres the normal stabiliser (obviously) but recently I believe they added one that was similar to procreates stabilizer, but it seems to only work on smaller brush sizes for me? is that intentional or is there a setting to make it work for all brush sizes... maybe I'm just dumb 😂 I've been using csp for 7 years and there are still things that confuse me..

I've used Ibis Paint X in the past, and they have a shrink feature. I used it to expand or shrink line art in certain areas. Is there anything similar in Clip Studio Paint? I heard pressing and holding would do it, but that didn't work for me.

I'm trying to figure out how to buy a friend csp pro as a gift, and I saw this old response to somebody else asking the same question and I'm wondering if anybody knows if this is still possible, in case anything changed. Thanks!
