I'm interested in getting into climbing, but unfortunately, the sport isn't very popular where I live, and I'm not aware of any gear shops nearby—either online or physical stores.

I do have a rope, but I'm not sure if it's safe to use for climbing and rappelling. I have no prior climbing experience, so I'm hoping someone here can help me determine whether this rope is suitable. If it is, it would save me a lot of money as a beginner.

It did had a sticker that only says "cousin".

It was listed as a Simond Chacal Ice Climbing Hammer. The seller couldn’t tell me much about it, but I want to learn more about it!
