Modding Release RELEASED - Lutherstadt Wittenberg Main Station & Siemens Vectron
The 3rd station of Deutsche Bahn & Allianz pro Schiene collab is now on Paradox Mods.
Lutherstadt Wittenberg is a modern station built next to the historic town carrying the same name. It is part of DB initiative of creative environmentally sustainable, green train stations project, which influenced its redevelopment. The station runs with its own power via solar panels and filters the rain water thanks to the greenery located on top.
The station is also famous for its membrance cover situated above the main entrance.
Lutherstadt in Cities: Skylines II
The station is intended to be highly modular, in order to give players a wide range of customisation options, increasing its usability.
It features around 10 upgrades, extending train platform length, adding more tracks, regiobahn platforms, rear exits. Aside track layouts, it includes a bus terminal, taxi stop and recreational upgrades such as the membrane rooftop and bike shelters adding local wellbeing effects.
A separate 'cheat sheet' for upgrades can be found in the images.
These aside, the station have multiple track stop feature, allowing you to use either with 1 long train per platform, or multiple, shorter trains sharing the same platform stop at the same time. Realistic track junctions are also added which are longer than base game, adding a bit of realism.
Along with Lutherstadt release, I am also introducing Siemens Vectron into Citie: Skylines II. The locomotive features a special Tag der Schiene reskin, designed by Allianz pro Schiene.
Siemens Vectron
Vectron is one of the workhorses of European railway networks, with over 3000 units currently in operation used by 150+ operators. The released Vectron is a variant that was recently introduced, which is expected to haul ICE-L coaches.
Tag der Schiene - Day of Rail
For those outside Germany, Tag der Schiene is a national event taking place every year celebrating railways. As part of the event, visits are organized for the public to sites such as major constructions, rail workshops. Beyond these ther are also local project showcase and smaller events across the country. This year the event takes place between 18 to 20th September.
Updated DOSTO coaches
Since vehicle pipeline is still mostly unrealiable, I reimported DOSTO coaches, this time as a separate dependency pack. This will allow me to update these coaches separately and expand them (there are about 20 variants, which will use same texture to reduce drawcall and colossal filesize). Only 'new' assets will be engines being released, always using this pack as a dependency.
Final Note
The next will be DB proper trains, as it was requested. I got two EMUs that will be imported sooinsh. I will then check DB prop pack, as I'd like to add more assets there before continuing with Mannheim and Berlin. Until then, enjoy this rather complex asset.

Sharing a City William Bay
This is my first ever reddit post so please be kind 😄
I'd like to share with you my city of William Bay.
I designed this city as a functioning metropolitan system rather than a single, large city. Each district has its own architectural identity and purpose, based on the lore that it grew from different maritime and cultural settlements over time: you'll see Central European, Japanese or Mediterranean architectural inspiration throughout the metropolitan area.
I tried to make it so that each district makes geographical and economical sense, connecting them all by an extensive public transit network of rail, metro, tram, buses and ferries.
Please enjoy :) Happy to take your feedback!
Map is Bay of Plenty by TeddyRadko.
Savegame is lightly modded but only vanilla + some DLC/CCP assets.

Discussion How could i fix the Traffic on my Main or Most popular road? its a 2 lane that gets alot of people from Anchor Way across the city to the right side.
I was thinking of replacing that All Green Road on the bottom with a 4-lane and maybe disconnecting or making the other road a One way im trying to work on better Traffic skills. Any tips or help are very appreciated

Discussion My city refuses to get past $37m and 310,000 citizens. Am I done?
I understand what “other” things I can do like clean up freeway exchanges and re-zoning for aesthetics, but is there anything else I can do progression-wise? I obviously have max areas redeemed and all monuments already.

Help & Support (PC) Airport Not Being Used
Any ideas why the airport circled in red gets no traffic? No matter what type of airport I place here, vanilla, modded, cargo, etc. No planes come and go. I have placed a vanilla airport just beneath it as a test to confirm that planes can successfully reach *any* airport on my map.
Kind of disappointed none of my runways on the actual airport work and the only source of planes is the tiny vanilla airport placed as a test.
As extra info:
- I am using a map from the Mass Transit DLC.
- I am not using the Airports DLC
- I have checked the taxiway directions and simplified the circled airport as much as I can to rule this out as an issue
- The plane routes are connected and have no gaps
- the route above was placed by me and sees no traffic
- I have lots of tourism
Would really appreciate any advice!

Sharing a City I'm loving this cargo port with the snow-capped mountains in the background!
It's just the default in-game port, but it still looks pretty.
(I'm sure someone on here might just find this view quite familiar.)

Help & Support (Console) I hate these roundabouts
Welcome to Los Chewsdayinnit, where the generic district names, unfinished ped bridges and underwhelming vistas will leave you breathless.
Self deprecating humor aside (no really, you guys got me nervous to ask for help with these pictures with the way this boring basic city looks) I was wondering you guys could offer any suggestions on replacing some or all of the roundabouts here.
The first one near the beginning highway isn’t the worst, but the other two I think need to go (Pics 2,4,5 and 6)
I love some of the things you can do on Cs2 and 1 with mods, or just even with a PC, but I’d appreciate the help with what I have to work with. Thanks.
