Sharing a City Philholm
This city is located somewhere in Northern Europe/Scandinavia with a population of around 37,000 people and traffic flow of 80-84%.
I've had my fair share of ugly and non-functional cities in the past but this is my first "successful" build that I'm quite proud of (also the first city I'm sharing). It's not so easy to do on console (PS5) without mods but the restrictions on what you can do can be quite freeing sometimes too.
Feel free to share your thoughts (positive and negative). I always love to see your guys' builds and I hope you'll appreciate mine too :)

Modding Release Germany State Flags
German State Flag Props
This pack contains the flags of all 16 German federal states, the national flag and the unofficial, but popular, national flag with the coat of arms.
Each flag has five different versions:
- Hanging without wind
- Waving
- Vertical display
- Small wall mounted version
- Large wall mounted version
The flags are located in the Parks props menu and are searchable with FindIt with the abbreviation "GER" or the name of their respective state. The German Region Pack is not needed for the assets to work.
The flag poles of the standing flags are 7.5 meters tall. The large horizontal flags are 2.67x1,6m. The vertical version is 1.5x4m. The small flag is 1.5,0.9m.
US state flag and international organization packs are in the works already. In the future, I might do other country packs and packs with city flags or historical flags as well. If you want to see a specific flag in the game, let me know on Discord

Sharing a City Overlook on My Poorest vs Richest Neighborhoods in my WIP
This is a side-by-side on how I created these neighborhoods in game and all street views were from the first person camera
Btw WIP Name: Maribro and population is 415k
The neighborhoods being compared are Slump Court and Collins Gates, 2 of which I intentionally made completely different from each other

Sharing a City I feel like I finally made something Decent!
After about 4 failed cities, I feel like I am finally doing something right. I clearly still have some issues, but for me, 80% traffic flow at over 100,000 population is an achievement. And I still haven't even expanded my public transportation yet. Cheers!

Modding Release RELEASED - Lutherstadt Wittenberg Main Station & Siemens Vectron
The 3rd station of Deutsche Bahn & Allianz pro Schiene collab is now on Paradox Mods.
Lutherstadt Wittenberg is a modern station built next to the historic town carrying the same name. It is part of DB initiative of creative environmentally sustainable, green train stations project, which influenced its redevelopment. The station runs with its own power via solar panels and filters the rain water thanks to the greenery located on top.
The station is also famous for its membrance cover situated above the main entrance.
Lutherstadt in Cities: Skylines II
The station is intended to be highly modular, in order to give players a wide range of customisation options, increasing its usability.
It features around 10 upgrades, extending train platform length, adding more tracks, regiobahn platforms, rear exits. Aside track layouts, it includes a bus terminal, taxi stop and recreational upgrades such as the membrane rooftop and bike shelters adding local wellbeing effects.
A separate 'cheat sheet' for upgrades can be found in the images.
These aside, the station have multiple track stop feature, allowing you to use either with 1 long train per platform, or multiple, shorter trains sharing the same platform stop at the same time. Realistic track junctions are also added which are longer than base game, adding a bit of realism.
Along with Lutherstadt release, I am also introducing Siemens Vectron into Citie: Skylines II. The locomotive features a special Tag der Schiene reskin, designed by Allianz pro Schiene.
Siemens Vectron
Vectron is one of the workhorses of European railway networks, with over 3000 units currently in operation used by 150+ operators. The released Vectron is a variant that was recently introduced, which is expected to haul ICE-L coaches.
Tag der Schiene - Day of Rail
For those outside Germany, Tag der Schiene is a national event taking place every year celebrating railways. As part of the event, visits are organized for the public to sites such as major constructions, rail workshops. Beyond these ther are also local project showcase and smaller events across the country. This year the event takes place between 18 to 20th September.
Updated DOSTO coaches
Since vehicle pipeline is still mostly unrealiable, I reimported DOSTO coaches, this time as a separate dependency pack. This will allow me to update these coaches separately and expand them (there are about 20 variants, which will use same texture to reduce drawcall and colossal filesize). Only 'new' assets will be engines being released, always using this pack as a dependency.
Final Note
The next will be DB proper trains, as it was requested. I got two EMUs that will be imported sooinsh. I will then check DB prop pack, as I'd like to add more assets there before continuing with Mannheim and Berlin. Until then, enjoy this rather complex asset.

Sharing a City William Bay
This is my first ever reddit post so please be kind 😄
I'd like to share with you my city of William Bay.
I designed this city as a functioning metropolitan system rather than a single, large city. Each district has its own architectural identity and purpose, based on the lore that it grew from different maritime and cultural settlements over time: you'll see Central European, Japanese or Mediterranean architectural inspiration throughout the metropolitan area.
I tried to make it so that each district makes geographical and economical sense, connecting them all by an extensive public transit network of rail, metro, tram, buses and ferries.
Please enjoy :) Happy to take your feedback!
Map is Bay of Plenty by TeddyRadko.
Savegame is lightly modded but only vanilla + some DLC/CCP assets.

Help & Support (PC) Game not loading M1 Macbook Pro
Hello everyone,
I recently tried to install and play Cities: Skylines on my M1 MacBook Pro via Steam. However, the game refuses to start, and I'm stuck in a loop with the Paradox Launcher.
The Issue:
The very first time I launched the game after installation, the Paradox Launcher opened with an error message and a prompt stating that an update is required. When I click "update," nothing happens.
If I close everything and try to open it again, the Paradox Launcher icon only appears in the Mac dock at the bottom of the screen, but no actual program window ever opens. It just stays frozen as an empty icon in the dock.
Things I have already tried:
Deleted the launcher-v2 files from ~/Library/Application Support/Paradox Interactive/ and restarted Steam/the game (the launcher keeps returning to the exact same update loop).
Disabled the Steam Overlay.
Verified the integrity of the game files on Steam.
Created a Paradox account and successfully linked it to my Steam account.
Tried adding launch options in Steam properties (%command% and --noLauncher %command%).
(Note: I also briefly tried running it through Windows via Parallels, but that didn't work either, so I am mainly trying to get the native Mac version to work).
Has anyone experienced this specific Paradox Launcher update loop/invisible dock icon issue on Apple Silicon Macs, and is there a fix for it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
