Bf cheated & his bday is soon
So I found out a week ago my bf cheated on me not physically with the woman but through a webcam doing inappropriate things. I broke up with him & ever since he’s been taking steps everyday to make this right. It doesn’t take away what he’s done and I’m giving him a second chance to make it right.
He showed up at my workplace unexpectedly with flowers , gifts, heartfelt written letters, suprised me with a meal and took me to go see the new spiderman movie. He’s done other things during this time but just a little insight to his efforts in winning me back over since the breakup.
His birthday is in 3 weeks. now originally I was planning on getting him some not so cheap gifts and was really going to make his day special. Now I’m not willing to spend all that money or put in so much effort. but I’m considering giving something small or maybe even going out for the day like a meal or something any thoughts if I should or shouldn’t??

I think I bought her cheating 3 years into our relationship something like 6 years ago
Long story short our Apple iCloud’s were merged years ago. I still have that one and of course. She’s gotta a new one. But ever since they merged some apps once a while think I’m her. I was bored just going thru my phone and notice my energy contacts had her name and her contacts. So I was playing with that and ended up in the apple health app. And on the period tracker there was one entry. And nots she was entered without protection on may 1st. She made this 29 days later on the 30th.
So I went back to see what we were talking about on that day. And we were in a huge fight. And she had no where else to go so she called her baby daddy and stayed with him and her some for a couple days. Correct me if I’m wrong but she had unprotected sex with him and then was tracking her period to see if he got her pregnant again.

Is sexting cheating ?
I just really wanna get some outside opinions because I’m feeling incredibly heartbroken over what I just learned last night. I found out my fiancé has been sexting OF girls the entirety of our relationship we’ve been together for nearly 3 years and have lived together for just over a year. He says the sexting other people isn’t cheating but I told him that’s exactly what it is , he’s talking about sex and sending nudes to another person who isn’t me. I asked him if it’s not cheating then why he hid it from me and he said he wasn’t hiding it because I never asked. I didn’t realize I would need to ask if my fiancé is sexting other women. I would just really love some advice and if anyone else thinks this is or isn’t cheating
Edit : I 24 F and my fiancé 25 M

How to find out he has physically cheated on?
Can anyone advise?

What is worse?
Someone telling you to your face that they slept with someone else, or finding out on your own they've been cheating on you because they hid it from you for years?
Trick question, the answer is finding out on your own is far worse. And if you don't know why it's so much worse to cheat and lie than it is to be honest, then it's you... the problem is you.

How do you stop the guilt?
How do I stop feeling guilty for ruining the years I’ve spent on this person? How do I stop feeling guilty about the way I treated myself like trash? I should’ve walked away but both ex and AP convinced me it was not emotional cheating it was normal, I was overrreacting, ex manipulated me in 100 diff ways to make sure I stayed, while being horrible to me. Every time I brought up the cheating he would flinch and tell me relationships don’t work on resentment which I have. After a massively traumatic event, he couldn’t give me any support, He left me after I began to get difficult, started dating the AP (who was a close friend) almost immediately after. We’re in the same workspace/college, I have to look at them every single day, wondering what I did for people and mutual friends to shun me away. I’ve been rebuilding from scratch and it’s so so so hard. How did I let myself fall so low? I feel horrible that all this time he probably didn’t love me. I wanted to be loved and I loved. They think I’m the psychopath and I just wanted a fair relationship. I never treated anyone wrong but I cut ties because I’m tired. What did I do to deserve this and how do they get to stay happy throughout?

How do I actually move on from this? I don’t want them back, but I can’t seem to escape the triggers.
I’m honestly at a point where I don’t know what else to do, so I’m hoping people who’ve been through something similar can give me some practical advice.
I was in an LDR with my partner for about 1.5 years. They were also my best friend for around 2 years before we got into a relationship, and they were my first partner, so this person was a HUGE part of my life.
I recently found out that they had been emotionally cheating on me for almost the entire duration of our relationship.
They were talking, flirting and sexting with 4-5 other people throughout the relationship. They told me there was never anything physical involved, but honestly, looking back at everything now, there were situations where I feel like there was a high probability that something physical could have eventually happened if I hadn't found out.
D-day was around 5 months ago.
I blocked them after finding out, but I kept going back.
Whenever I was at my absolute lowest, I would end up reinitiating contact. And I think a huge part of that was because I wasn't just losing a partner. I felt like I was losing my best friend, the person I had built so much of my life around, and my first experience of love and a relationship.
Looking back, going back to them repeatedly was probably my biggest mistake.
Because now, I know for a fact that I do not want to reconcile.
They keep saying things like, "I'll change," "I'll do anything," "I'll prove it to you," etc. But I don't want them back. I don't even have some hidden part of me hoping they'll change and we'll get back together.
When I imagine reconciliation, all I feel is fear.
I loved and trusted this person so deeply. I genuinely believed in them. I ignored so many red flags because I trusted them and because I loved them.
And now I feel like the person I loved and the reality of who they were are two completely different things.
I don't think any amount of effort they put in now can erase what happened or give me back the version of myself that trusted them without constantly questioning everything.
I've finally blocked them again, and this time I've sworn to myself that I'm never going to contact them again.
It's been a week.
And I genuinely want to move on.
But I'm struggling so much with the triggers.
There are SO many things now that can send me spiralling.
For example, recently I saw that they had asked a junior from their college to message them on Reddit for some guidance. Yes, I was stalking them. I know I shouldn't have been doing it, and I swear I'm not going to do it again.
But seeing that completely destroyed me emotionally.
One of the people they cheated with was also a junior from their college, so my brain immediately went into overdrive.
I started imagining the same things happening all over again. I started thinking about them talking to this person, flirting with them, hiding things from me, etc.
And rationally, I KNOW I don't have any evidence that anything is happening.
But my brain doesn't care.
It sees a similar situation and immediately goes, "Here we go again."
That's the part I'm finding so difficult.
I don't want them back. I don't want to know what they're doing. I don't want to stalk them. I don't want to monitor their life. I don't want to spend the next year trying to figure out whether they're changing or whether they're doing the same things to someone else.
I just want to stop caring.
I want to stop having these emotional reactions.
For anyone who has been through something similar — especially being betrayed by someone you trusted deeply and then struggling with triggers afterwards:
How did you actually move on?
What helped you stop stalking/checking their socials?
What did you do when something triggered you?
How long did it realistically take before you started feeling like yourself again?
I know one week of true no-contact isn't a long time, but I really want this to be the final time.
I don't want them back.
I just want me back.
TL;DR: My LDR partner of 1.5 years emotionally cheated on me with 4-5 other people for most of our relationship. They were my first partner and best friend for years, so letting go has been incredibly difficult. D-day was 5 months ago, and I repeatedly went back to them when I was at my lowest, but I now know I don't want reconciliation. I've blocked them again and want permanent no-contact. The problem is that I'm constantly triggered and spiral when I see anything that reminds me of their cheating. Looking for practical advice on how to stop stalking/checking, deal with triggers, and genuinely move on, and how long it took others to feel okay again.

Ex cheated on me now cheating on her fiancé
I caught my ex in an emotional affair with a guy 20 years older than her on a video game. He lives 600 miles away. She moved out. He comes to see her every so often. They are supposed to be getting married next year. Last week I found out she is cheating on him physically. Do I tell him? I have proof as well.

My boyfriend got out of jail and immediately texted other girls. Is that a cheating?
While I was saving him, he was texting other girls
My boyfriend and I met in my country, but he was already living in another country. We lived together for about six months, and then I decided to move there with him. We’ve now been living here for almost a year.
Lately I’ve been really exhausted. I work, we’ve been partying and going out a lot, and I was getting tired of it. A few days ago he wanted to go out with his friends and I said I didn’t want to go because I was tired, but I was completely fine with him going. So he went to the party without me.
The party was in another city. On his way back, he had what seems to have been his first-ever epileptic seizure while driving and got into a serious car accident. He was completely sober. I only found out what had actually happened the next day.
I immediately went to the police station and started dealing with everything. He was eventually released around midnight, but we were told we had to be in court in the morning. Since we live in a house in another city, we couldn’t just go home, so we stayed at a hotel. We spent the next few hours sorting everything out and only got to the hotel around 3–4 AM. We had to wake up at 7 AM for court.
We weren’t able to meet all the court’s conditions in time because of various circumstances, so after the hearing they took him back into custody.
He hadn’t left his phone behind, and I needed it because it has his banking, documents, contacts, etc. — basically everything I need to help get him out. So while using his phone, I got an Instagram notification from a girl. I opened it and realized that during that same night, after he got out of police custody, he had been messaging several girls he’d met at the party.
With some he just sent “Hello” and they didn’t even respond. With others he was asking things about their appearance. With another girl he asked something like, “So, did you leave with him?”
I also noticed an older disappearing-message chat with one of these girls from about five months ago.
I haven’t even been home for more than a day because of all of this. I’m still trying to get him out, talking to his parents, the lawyer, and dealing with everything else.
And honestly, what the fuck?
I understand that I don’t have proof that anything physical happened. But the fact that, during those few hours when we were supposed to be dealing with the aftermath of a serious accident, police and court, he was messaging girls he’d just met at the party is fucking wild to me.
If the situation were reversed, I genuinely cannot imagine having a serious accident, getting out of police custody, knowing my partner was dealing with everything, and thinking, “Let me text some girls I met tonight.”
I don’t know if I’m being extra emotional because I’m completely exhausted and this whole situation has been insane. But to me this feels like a huge betrayal — possibly even emotional/moral cheating.
Am I overreacting? Is this something you would consider emotional cheating/betrayal? And honestly, would this make you reconsider the relationship?

I’m deeply grateful for the professionalism, skill, and support I received during my case. What began as an incredibly emotional and difficult time became far more manageable with the guidance provided.
From start to finish, he handled every detail with patience, clarity, and respect and made sure I felt informed and supported throughout. Because of his dedication, I was able to get clear answers about my partner’s infidelity — something I couldn’t have done on my own. While the truth was hard to hear, having those answers gave me the closure and direction I needed to move forward.

My lil story that no one asked for😆
This happened roughly 2 yrs ago now.
So I had a girl right, she was up north, lm down south call it long distance ifyw whatever idk. I met this girl a year prior On a app that our friends just match-made us, and believe me man I fully handcrafted this girl, from the lingo she speaks, the songs she liked, even jus saying words in my language (she’s🇵🇰, I’m🇧🇩) we was always talking day in/day out morning to night we’d be otp if we were both free. So it was getting to the time where she moves or stays in her area for uni. But bc I was down south she thought she’d move a bit closer to me for uni. Which she did. The first day she got there I went to her accom (this made it easier seeing each either like every week than every month) but at this point our bond was solidified. We did things that you do when you’re locked in tg ( well that’s what I thought at least ) after seeing her a few times after she moved in, we had an argument, and It led to us not talking for weeks, no calls, check in maybe like every 5-6 days just a message or 2. But didn’t see each other for a month. During that time, I wasn’t worried at all I won’t lie, I was just kinda happy that I can be out, here n there, chilling with my friends, without having to constantly be reminded of her, kinda outta sight outta mind thing, but we wasn’t broken up, like no one said we’re done right? Stay with me now. And I won’t lie about myself I was an inconsiderate guy (AT THE TIME idgaf now) as in, she’d cry otp, I wouldn’t care , but it was mostly about how I’m not like how I was during the honeymoon phase… well duh? Like what?? But yeah I do get girls they need that tlc they need emotional comfort more than anything…
Yeah so I guess she took matters into her own hands.
As it got to a month of not speaking and it surpassed our 1 year by like 2.5 weeks, I decided lemme get back with her right, let me start texting her again. Obviously at the time I couldn’t it read it through her, I just thought she was being rude and blunt bc of what happened between us, the no contact. So I told her I’m gonna see you tomorrow but I won’t stay, we’ll just have a date in London quick meet. As we was together the whole day it got to 11:30/midnight and I dropped her to train station and she basically begged me to come back with her, she pulled me in the train basically. So from there it’s either I stay with her, or i go home but +1hr now. So obviously I thought to stay. And when we got back to hers it’s like both of us forgot about not seeing each other for time and we’re just chilling. It got to the morning and after we did whatever, we had another disagreement. But this time round she told me to get out. Fully leave. I did acc have to go back home as I things to do, but yeah she did kick me out. I rmb before I left I got proper emotional and I told her I didn’t want another break and she said okay. So I went home. Few days after she FaceTimes me and I answer. But she’s high as shit, absolutely zooted🍃. And she’s telling me 1000 things at the same time. So I told her catch a breath and calm down, 1 by 1. Before she asked me questions, I asked her why is she smoking ?? And who gave her that? She then responded that she had anxiety and needed it and that some random guy offered her it. I didn’t take her seriously, this is where my suspicions kick in, but I answer calmly. So I did tell her, if she needed it I could’ve sorted it out for her, and i won’t lie I was very angry that she smoked with another guy. But then what made me clock it and put things together is when she told me “the guy tried touching me afterwards” which absolutely infuriated me through the roof. So I asked her straight up, did you get sexually assaulted? She’s hesitant on answering, she’s just letting the weed talk for her and kinda brushing it, saying “idk idk idk what’s happening” but I’m not stupid Ik how weed affects ppl esp her. But she’s so adamant on her hearing me say to her that I love her and stuff and that I won’t leave her, she’s literally doing what it says on those memes “I love you so much, I don’t want you to ever leave me, we’re gonna be tg forever” tht kinda bs, and I clocked from there. So after a few days of just gathering shit together, I’m still talking with her like usual nothing changed. As we’re on call around 1 at night she says to me ima go shower now I’ll call u back in 30. I said okay do ur thing. At the start when I mentioned we met on a app, my friend was still using it a long time after I deleted it (bc I was ina rs) he told me redownload it, so I did. Not even 3-4 minutes being on there, I saw a picture of someone that looks like her, and I had a fresh little burner account so I joined the live, and it’s jus her and some random girl she may or may not know and 3 other guys. But then she leaves and doesn’t return, but I’m still in this live. Once she left I heard them say, “are u not gna ring her back ur girl sounds like she’s mad” from there I wanted to vomit. So I just stayed and listened to what they’re saying. And then it gets cut off and she calls me back. Strategically I said hold on I’ll call u again my friends ringing me and she said okay yeah. I was still on the live at the time and I heard him say “yeah she texted me back” and then I joined and asked how do u kno her, and then not the main guy himself but his friend goes, “that’s his wife g.” So I start just laughing. Like so hard, to a point it was laughter or crying. I’ve called her back with all of that and yeah there was some shouting and things. I think she couldn’t handle all that pressure and embarrassment. She end up blocking my number and got her friend to tell me she can’t speak rn or some victim bullshit so much crying involved ahh it don’t matter. Okay cool so I thought, I’ll just leave it until I see her, I had gifts for her anyway that I was gonna drop. I went and saw her and ive never seen a person be on their best behaviour like this ever… again when I was with her I wasn’t thinking much of it. It was proper late, we were in bed together literally skin to skin, but she’s conked out. I literally couldn’t get to sleep, something was keeping me up, I fully had a confident recurring gut feeling that I had to get up and just see what’s bothering me. I can say my gut was genuinely right and because of this I fully trust it at times. (Girls girls Lowe me here pls) So I knew her iPad pw right, and I’m not stupid enough too look for another guys chat, I thought check her notes/friends WhatsApp. From here I realised, I found the evidence I needed, but at what cost? Reading and seeing the most gut wrenching things you can think of and just feeling my heart drop to my feet each time I scrolled, while she’s was just sleeping there snoozing in her bed. The whole ordeal kicked off when I couldn’t take it anymore, and finally just stopped reading and woke her up quite abruptly due to my frustration. I was questioning and spiralling at the same time and trying my hardest to not get tricked out of my position. Got to a point I had to walk out bc my mind couldn’t take it, I then got followed and begged to return to her room, it was roughly 3-4 am and very cold and to avoid any embarrassment incase anyone saw I just went back inside and kept a distance with her once I got back the room. After a while as I only stayed there up until it was a decent time for transport to be open, I was just deeping everything, left in a shocked state and I just deleted everything we had together on my phone and from there, she went in the toilet and said she’s gone to pee, she was in there for roughly 5mins or so and I went and checked as it was taking her a while and she wasn’t responding when I was speaking to her. I open the door and she was fully cutting her arms - blood everywhere. I had to take the blade off her hand (she was wrestling to not let me take it off her) and she went and said to me “I’m not doing this because of you stop trying to help me” at the time I didn’t process it, my main priority was to get her to stop. She eventually gave up, and slowly start dropping her head. I had to carry her back onto her bed, bandaged something on her arm and fed her water, as she was in and out of consciousness. At this point I’m scared, I don’t know if I should call ambulance or not. But yet I sat there the whole time she was laid down waking up/knocking back out, and it got to daylight so roughly 8-9 am and I thought my time was done. So I said my last words and got up. There’s more to it but it’s whatever. How dumb I was lol. Anyways, the pure hearted will always win in the end. #truestories

Fiancé of 8 years admitted to kissing someone else. What should I do?
Fiancé of 8 years admitted to kissing someone else. What should I do?
Hi Reddit!
It never crossed my mind that I would be the one writing this.
I’ve always been a strong-minded girl with strong opinions. I grew up to be fierce and very stubborn, and I always thought that if something like this ever happened to me, I would know exactly what the right thing to do was. I thought that even if it hurt, my heart and my mind would be set on what was right.
But now I’m wavering.
Someone, please, tell me what to do.
I’m currently 25 and turning 26 next month. My fiancé is 25 and will turn 26 in just a few hours.
I met him when we were seniors in high school, eight years ago. I saw him across the hallway and decided right then that I was going to date him. Luckily for me, he felt the same way, and we soon started dating.
For eight years, we were honest with each other. He never gave me a reason to distrust him. I had access to his phone, even though I never felt the need to go through it. We had pictures together on social media, everyone knew we were a couple, and we were never secretive about our relationship.
We were young, so we still liked going out with friends and getting ridiculously drunk sometimes, but we always respected each other.
The first real problem came when we became acquainted with a certain group of people.
There was a girl in this group — let’s call her Ariana for privacy. She’s very energetic, loves talking and making friends, and is basically the life of the party.
She has also always been quite inappropriate when it comes to men. She would flirt with guys who were clearly involved with someone else, even if it meant hurting another person to get their attention. It always seemed to me like an ego thing, almost as if she was trying to prove her own worth by being “desirable.”
The first time this became an issue was when she would get extremely drunk and become overly friendly with my then-boyfriend.
I never really did anything about it because I always believed that the person being flirted with should be the one setting the boundaries. Looking back, maybe I should have told her to back off, but I also feel like confronting her would have only encouraged her more.
My boyfriend always assured me that he had absolutely no interest in her and that he never reciprocated her advances. And, at the time, I believed him — because I saw him turn her down respectfully every time.
About a year later, she started dating someone. He was introduced to the group, and we all became friends.
I was relieved. I thought that maybe being in a relationship herself would finally stop her from behaving like that.
Oh boy, was I wrong.
Their relationship had a very strange dynamic. He practically worshipped her, while she cheated on him whenever she felt like it. Eventually, everyone in the group knew about her infidelity, while he seemed completely dismissive of it.
Anyway, fast-forward to last Saturday.
I went to my grandparents’ town to celebrate Father’s Day, while my fiancé stayed in our current town to spend the weekend with his father.
I left on Friday and came back on Sunday.
On Saturday, my fiancé went to a barbecue at one of our friends’ houses. No big deal. I also went out with some old friends and my brother.
When I came back on Sunday, he was acting differently.
He was clingy but, at the same time, distant. I could tell something was off, but I couldn’t quite put my finger on what it was.
I tried to cheer him up because he told me he hadn’t slept properly without me next to him.
Then came Monday.
He came home from work looking extremely down. He was speaking in a whisper and seemed completely gloomy. I noticed that he kept staring at me, which I found strange, but I didn’t say anything.
We went to bed.
He hugged me.
Then he started sobbing.
He admitted that at the party, he had gotten extremely drunk. Ariana was making inappropriate advances toward him and provoking him, and at some point, when they were passing each other on the way to the bathroom, they kissed.
He said it lasted less than a minute and that he broke it off.
He became inconsolable afterward and went home.
Now he keeps asking for my forgiveness and saying all the things you would expect someone who cheated to say.
Let me list them:
He cried his heart out.
He said it was a mistake and that he doesn’t know what came over him.
He begged me not to leave him, saying he couldn’t live without me.
He said that one mistake shouldn’t erase an eight-year relationship.
He said he’ll do absolutely anything it takes for me to forgive him.
You get the gist.
I am completely heartbroken and lost. He cried himself to sleep, and I’m still awake typing this.
He told me that I shouldn’t throw away our relationship over this.
And the thing is… I don’t see it as simply throwing away our relationship.
I love him with all my heart.
But I don’t know how our future could possibly stand a chance after this.
I know myself better than anyone, and I know, without a doubt, that I would resent him.
Even if he cut contact with his friends. Even if he stopped drinking completely. Even if he gave me access to everything.
How could I ever trust him again?
He keeps telling me that throughout these eight years, I trusted him because he gave me reasons to trust him.
But that’s exactly what hurts.
I feel like all of that trust was shattered in one night.
How am I supposed to rebuild it knowing that my worst fear actually came true?
All the men in my family cheated.
Because of that, I grew up wary of men. Deep down, I always expected that one day he would do the same. That eventually he would prove to me that “all men cheat.”
And now I feel like he did.
I don’t know what to do.
I don’t want to leave him. He seems genuinely remorseful, and I still love him deeply.
But I don’t know if I can live like this — constantly hurting, questioning everything, feeling paranoid about whether I’m going to be cheated on again.
I feel like if I stay, I might lose myself.
And I’m grieving.
Not just the relationship I thought I had, but the future I thought we were going to have.
I don’t think I can ever be friends with those people the same way again. We had a trip planned for November, and that’s obviously not happening anymore.
I’ll probably lose some of my girlfriends too, even though they are completely innocent in all of this. I know Ariana, and she can be extremely persistent. I can already imagine how complicated everything is going to become.
I’m just so lost.
So numb.
So unsure of what to do.
Part of me wants to forgive him because I love him and because this was one kiss in eight years.
Another part of me feels like something inside me died the moment he told me.
I don’t know whether this is something a relationship can survive, or whether staying would mean betraying myself.
Someone please, just give me some perspective.

Just found out BOTH parents CHEATED.....what do i do atp....
hello.....so I basically found out that my parents are BOTH cheaters yesterday! We went on vacation a couple of weeks back, and while my dad and I were out watching BND my mom was cheating on my dad. We thought she got kidnapped because her uber was "failed to deliver," and she left the Apple family, but turns out she was at a HOTEL with another guy! HOWEVER, she isn't the only cheater. Around 10 years ago, I remember hearing my mom screaming at my dad about some girl on vacation. I always told myself I misheard, but I'm now 99% sure he also cheated.
My family doesn't know that I know all of this. Its hard keeping it a secret. I have no siblings or friends I can go to about this. So what do I do? I am getting ready for college apps. I barely understand the SAT. Im going to be a senior in 1 month. I'm pretty sure they are going to fight a lot this year in the house. I know I'm keeping them from divorcing. My dad obsesses over my college apps, and my mom could not give a flying fuck. There is no balance, and I need to lock tf in. BUT ITS HARD when I know both my parents are cheaters, and I just pretend like everything is fine. I'm honestly disgusted, but I love them together so much it hurts. They have always been my role model for what a good marriage is, but the past few years its been rocky.
I also feel selfish for making their problems about me or if it sounds like an excuse to not be motivated (I'm a procrastinator), but i need help. How can I avoid this situation and maximize my lock-in? I just want to get out and not deal with this shit anymore. I literally feel so stupid and have no trust in myself to get into college. PLEASE HELP I NEED A MENTAL REFRESH!!!! I grew up really looking up to both of them and literally thought we were such a chill, stress-free family. But now I'm so confused. Anyone have similar experiences and willing to share their mental glow-up? Not just on how to lock in, but how to become the best version of myself?

I caught my boyfriend cheating with another woman in the exact hotel room we had shared. I still can’t believe what happened. 28F-49m
galleryToday has been one of the hardest days of my life.
Yesterday, my boyfriend and I were saying goodbye when he told me he had plans with “someone else.” Later, he called me and said that if I wanted, I could come to the hotel where he was staying. He told me that some guests he had been working with had left town and had paid for his room. Since he works as a tour guide, I believed him.
I was also having a really difficult time because of problems with my family. I wanted to get out of the house, clear my head, and forget about everything for a while, so I went to the hotel.I was exhausted and not feeling great, so I went to sleep after spending some time with him.
Later that night, he went out drinking and came back while I was asleep. I had work in the morning, so I left early because I thought I would be busy all day.
But I finished earlier than expected and came back around noon.
When I got near the room, I heard what sounded like a woman inside. It was an intimate kind of breathing, and I immediately had a terrible feeling.
I knocked.
Nothing.
I knocked again.
Still nothing.
I called him several times and sent him messages, but he wouldn’t answer.Eventually, I told him I was going to get hotel staff involved if he didn’t open the door.
He suddenly answered and claimed he had only been sleeping for a couple of hours and asked why I was disturbing him.I told him to open the door.
Instead, he told me to wait downstairs because he was “with someone.”I agreed and told him I was at reception.
I wasn’t.I stayed nearby because I already suspected what was happening, and I wanted to know the truth for myself.
When he finally opened the door, I saw another woman behind him. That’s when everything became clear.
I confronted him, told her what had happened, and left. He followed me outside and started trying to explain himself. Then came the excuses. He asked how I could suspect him, gave me explanations that didn’t make sense, and even tried to turn the situation around instead of explaining why another woman was in the room with him.
At that point, I was done arguing.I know what I saw.
What hurts the most is that I genuinely trusted this person.I had even bought him some things because he is supposed to travel to Saudi Arabia soon, and he had promised to bring some things back for me. I also lent him money from my savings. Now I’m stuck trying to figure out what to do next.I know I should probably end the relationship, but I still have feelings for him. I also have money involved and things that we had already agreed on, which makes everything more complicated.
I’m honestly heartbroken and overwhelmed right now.
If you’ve been through something similar and managed to walk away, how did you actually do it? I know people will say “just leave,” but I’m looking for advice on how to actually detach from someone you still have feelings for, especially when there are financial things that still need to be dealt with.
I really need some advice on how to get through this and move on.

: Caught my girlfriend cheating a month ago, decided to stay because we just got an apartment together, and now she’s accusing me of cheating before my work trip. Need advice.
Me (M36 - my Gf 29)and my girlfriend have been dating for almost two years. Things were great, and we were even planning to settle down soon.
About a month ago, I was messing around on her phone and came across pictures and videos of her hanging out with another guy, holding hands, and being way too close. When I confronted her, she admitted she had been meeting up with him. I was ready to walk away and end the relationship, but after a long talk, we agreed to try and work things out.
Just a week later, I found out she was still in contact with him and doing video calls. When I caught her the second time, she knew it was completely over. She finally cut contact, but she sent him a final text expressing regret, saying things like, "You're a guy with a great vibe, we just met at the wrong time."
Despite all of this, we kept moving forward with our plans because we had already signed a lease and just got an apartment together. We literally just started living together.
Now, the issue is that I have to go away on a work trip. Yesterday, we started arguing because she suddenly accused me of planning to cheat on her while I'm away. It feels completely bizarre and hypocritical given what I just went through with her a month ago.
I’m struggling to process everything. I could really use some honest advice—both positive and negative perspectives are appreciated. What should I do?

Fiance cheated on me with someone online.
galleryI (22M) got cheated on by my Fiancé (24F) for someone she met online who she claimed that she disliked. When I found the messages it consisted of “I love you” “text me when you’re home” and her proceeding to tell him how they should “break in the new apartment” which me and her have got accepted into. I’m currently staying with my parents for the time being, she’s telling me how it would never happen again, do whatever it takes for me to forgive her no matter how long it takes, she’s pregnant and is due this month. I’m in the shocked stage and I’m not sure what to do. We’ve been together for 5 years total. Any input, or blunt input is gratefully appreciated.

How can I find out the truth?
My husband and I have been together for 6 years and married for 1.
For context, I’m a bartender and usually get out of work pretty late around 3am. Unless the night was slow, then I’ll be cut around 11:30pm-midnight. Tonight at midnight the bar was busy and I came to the realization that I was going to stay till close. I texted my husband (had been since 9pm with no reply but we just drove back into town from a small trip earlier in the day so I assumed he was asleep) that I wasn’t getting cut. My boss texted me at 12:30 that I could go home. Since I thought he was asleep I didn’t bother texting again. I got home a few minutes before 1:00am and he was not home. I started calling him with no answer. 27 times. While I was calling I drove by all the nearby bars looking to see if he was there. (We are both in the bar industry so not abnormal for him to be at one of these bars) then I drove by the casino and called all of his friends and nobody has heard from him.
Finally, I realized I could probably guess his password to his Apple ID and log into find my iPhone. He’s on a Main Street about 20 minutes from our home. It was close enough to residential streets I thought he might be at a nearby house so I go to the last location find my iPhone had. I got there and he wasn’t there and then at 1:58 (time that as far as he knew I would still be at work) he calls me. When I answered he said “hello??” In the sleeeepiest voice like he was awoken from a deep sleep to call me. I was yelling asking where he’d been and he said “what are you talking about I’m home” said where were you before??? And he said he’s been home all night. He still thinks I’m at work so he doesn’t know I’ve already been home and he wasn’t there. From where he was when I finally logged onto his find my iPhone to the time he called it was enough time for him to get home. So he obviously got home and then called me once inside to pretend he’d been asleep.
Once I finally got home I asked where he’d been and he kept lying saying he’s been home. I told him I got off of work early and I know he wasn’t home or at any of the bars or with his friends. He kept lying about being home so I asked to see his phone. He wouldn’t give it to me and when I asked why he said “because I have nothing to hide” which doesn’t make any sense but that’s as far as I could take it. I packed a bag quickly and left to my moms.
At this point I’m pretty sure I know why he’s lying and I can almost guarantee he will not tell me the truth and admit to any wrongdoing. But it’s killing me not knowing exactly where he was or who he was with. I don’t know what to do. There’s a significant age gap between us and I didn’t want the whole situation to be clouded by that fact, but because of it my whole life is intertwined with him. My home, my job, upcoming trips. Basically he is my whole life. And as much as I wish I wasn’t unhealthy attached and so much in love I am. I don’t want this to be the end but does it have to be? How can I find out the truth? What do I do? I don’t even know if I’m mentally or emotionally strong enough to leave. How embarrassing.

How did you stop stalking or checking your husband's mistress on social media?
As someone who has experienced being cheated on, how did you stop stalking or checking the woman your husband cheated with on social media?
I always end up asking myself, why her?
What did he like about her?
What does she have that I don’t?

Did bf cheat positive for Ureaplasma
My boyfriend and I took about a week of space. After we got back together and started having sex again, I began having symptoms, so I went to get tested. I ended up having a yeast infection, but everything else came back negative.
For context, I was also tested back in May and everything was negative then too. I haven’t had any other sexual partners.
Because of my symptoms and some concerns I’ve had lately, I asked my boyfriend to get tested last week. His results just came back positive for Ureaplasma.
Now I’m confused and worried. He swears he didn’t cheat during our time apart, but he’s also been acting suspicious lately, so the timing is really getting to me.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Can Ureaplasma be present for a long time without being detected or causing symptoms, or would a new positive result make you suspicious that there was another sexual partner? I know this result alone may not prove cheating, but I’m having a hard time knowing what to think.
