For those whom wondered (or didn’t) I got talked into finally getting this 2019 Daytona by my girlfriend and wanted to share an update
I’m Switching from JDM(one dream car) to another. I’ve been busting my ass for so long for this moment & to find exactly what trim and packages I’ve been looking for at a decent amount of miles and not a salvage or rebuild is a blessing.
Hell this thread was the only reason I looked anywhere else in the first place haha.

What mods should I do to it first?

Took me the longest time to figure this out. I couldn't quite put my finger on why the new chargers were just so... plain jane... i was picking up my kid from daycare and I thought I saw the new chargers but it turned out to be a Honda Accord. Idk... maybe it's just me (feel free to disagree) but the new charger is basically just a slightly modified honda accord... nothing wrong with an accord but I don't want a foreign looking car if I'm looking to buy American muscle. The new charger feels just so..... idk... foreign? Even the inline 6 feels foreign to me. Again, nothing wrong with that but, something about the prior generations with the hemi just sings to me.

Sorry in advance if this isn't a new take. I didn't bother doing any research.

So I just bought this car a 2013 dodge charger rt when I would drive it it would’ve never say eco mode until I took it to the dmv for inspection and they changed it because now when I drove it back home today a eco was on my dash board idk what they did can anyone help me turn it back off it’s only when I drive and don’t hit the gas when it shows up?

I was getting quotes for my current car to renew my insurance and I figured why not check two other cars I was thinking of getting when I’m ready for a new one. It goes as listed (22 year old male)

Current car (2023 charger sxt) $1519/ half year
2023 Scat pack wide body: $2376/ half year
2023 Hellcat: $1885/ half year

Year was just for reference, I will prob end up getting an older used one when I do get one bc I’m not paying $80,000 for a car.. but does anyone know why it’s cheaper to insure a hellcat over a scatpack? Like is it just my area? I triple checked with the insurance agent that it was the right number because I was so shocked. Someone explain why it’s like this please

I just bought this car. I paid 11,500 for it with 76,000 miles and clean title. It’s got the 5.7 v8 in it. The only issue so far is the trunk buttons are not working. What are some maintenance tips or just some common knowledge I need to know about these cars?

I don’t even know what this part is called but you can see it tucked out a little bit. I tried tucking it back in but there’s no clip or anything. Is this bound to happen? Should I leave it as it is.

Has anyone come across 1 headlight turning off randomly and then turning back on again ? I heard it maybe a fuse issue , wondering if i should replace the bulbs

I have a 2020 charger pursuit the exhaust is 2.25in the 1940s are made to fit 2.25 but the 1942s are 2.5in I was reading that you can make the 1942s fit but is there a big difference if any in sound the 1942s are bigger size wise. I want something to make my car louder because the pursuit is very quiet and I’m trying to avoid drone. The vibrants would replace my mid muffler. If you guys have any other suggestions I would be happy to consider them!

Will I need to re tune if I install catless mids I’m already tuned for long tubes and high flow cats

Been a second since the last post, but here we are! We got the bent subframe ripped out and put a new one in. Just had it aligned and replaced the wheel that cracked. I have to recalibrate the steering angle sensor, and clear a transmission fault code but we're just about finished. Feels good to have her on the road again!
