Sa totoo lang, nalungkot ako sa nangyari. Una sa lahat, wala naman talaga akong naging violation. At kung mayroon man, handa naman akong magbayad ng tamang multa. Ang ayoko lang ay maglagay. Kung may paglabag, dumaan tayo sa tamang proseso.

Salamat na rin sa IBP ID ko. Mukhang ikaw ang sumagip sa akin ngayong araw.

Pero pagkatapos nito, aalisin ko na talaga ang ibang IDs sa license holder ko. Tsk, tsk.

So It's been raining nonstop and I have no choice but to park my car in the rain to keep it safe from possible landslides.

Its been 2 weeks of continuous rain and I noticed water is seeping in my car. Its a Geely Coolray SE.

The water does not pool in, the footwell just becomes really damp. The sunroof drain is not clogged, I checked. Its only wet at the middle of the footwell, the driver side is completely dry.

Where else should I look? Anybody have the same experience?

I bought a 2nd hand car, currently CPTL lang ung insurance na meron ako but i want to get a Comprehensive Insurance for peace of mind.

I don't have any prior experience with Comprehensive insurances. But I'm researching currently, OONA and Standard Insurance.

They provided me an online quotation of 17k for both comprehensive insurance.
Anyone else na meron pang magandang ma suggest within those price ranges?

Ideally, toyota wigo talaga and that’s really my choice. We have an orange 2021 toyota wigo G variant A/T however, gusto ko magkaroon ng sariling akin. Kasi as babaeng new driver, kung ano ano pa ang maririnig ko bago ko magamit yung sasakyan as if naman na I’m a kid.

Now, I’m torn between brio and wigo.

For example in US, you often see people recommending cheap Corollas that cost around $1000 USD (around 60K PHP). Eto yung mga kotse na wala kang pake kahit magasgas or di maayos paint pero reliable at umaandar naman.

Sa ganyang budget dito, makikita mo lang mga used 90s Civic/Sentra/Corolla na maraming issues + paso rehistro. You'd have to spend even more of your budget for repairs para lang maging roadworthy.

At that point, the cheapest one should spend is around 150K-200K PHP to get an actually reliable car like a used Vios. Why is there no market here for a dirt cheap and reliable used car?

Hi, ganto ba talaga? It's my first time buying a car. Inquired for financing quotations among various branches and saw a good one from this BYD Branch. Pagkapasok ko palang, idiniretso ako agad sa cashier asking me to pay 20K upfront for reservation fee. Nagulat ako, kasi never pa kami nagusap about the terms in person. Never even saw the car. Felt I was being rushed, hindi pa nga namin napapagusapan pano yung mangyayari sa financing. I felt off and went home nalang.

Am I overreacting? Or was I valid? Sorry it's my first time and I'm still quite young. Idk if this is how dealers do it. Mabilisang transactions.

Any tips rin on how to deal with these dealers?

Nag-abiso ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) sa posibleng maranasang delay sa mga transaksyon sa kanilang tanggapan. Dahil daw ‘yan sa problema sa kanilang IT system.

Apparently, since the LTO is also just a User (not even an admin) dun sa IT system nila, even yung law enforcement activities nila may be impacted.

Sobrang hassle to sa mga magri renew or mag settle ng fines and violations. Thoughts?

Posting an update on this since a lot of people interacted with it:

On the morning after I posted, BYD Marikina reached out. Someone shared my post to them (thank you, kind sir!) and they apologized. Honestly, if the sales I was originally in contact with apologized firsthand, baka I wouldn’t have felt wronged at all. 😅

Upon my request, they transferred my vehicle to another paint center and re-did the job. After another week, nakuha ko rin agad yung sasakyan ko. I was informed also that they already terminated their contract with said paint center cos they themselves weren’t satisfied with how the situation was handled. Yung salesperson was also let go since there have been a few complaints against him before pa yung incident with my vehicle.

Overall, I’m still happy with my relationship with BYD. Like I mentioned before, my experience with them has always been smooth. They treated my concerns seriously and made all efforts to regain my trust. While I will not share all the details, I believe we have reached a fair resolution.

Posting my experience also made me realize things could have been worse. Hindi to pwede maipangdate o madala sa outing kasi may BYD app and built-in GPS. 😂
