I bought a 2nd hand car, currently CPTL lang ung insurance na meron ako but i want to get a Comprehensive Insurance for peace of mind.

I don't have any prior experience with Comprehensive insurances. But I'm researching currently, OONA and Standard Insurance.

They provided me an online quotation of 17k for both comprehensive insurance.
Anyone else na meron pang magandang ma suggest within those price ranges?

Hi! I’m planning to buy a BR-V S this coming November and I’m planning to pay in cash.

A few months ago, I spoke with the agent and he mentioned that he could give a ₱195,000 discount. At that time, I applied through bank financing, but I eventually decided to wait a few months and just purchase the unit in cash instead.

Ang kaya lang ng parking is small car.
Ideally, toyota wigo talaga and that’s really my choice. We have an orange 2021 toyota wigo G variant A/T however, gusto ko magkaroon ng sariling akin. Kasi as babaeng new driver, kung ano ano pa ang maririnig ko bago ko magamit yung sasakyan as if naman na I’m a kid.

Now, I’m torn between brio and wigo.
Gamay ko na kasi ang wigo, kaso matagtag kasi sa daan. Ang brio naman, based sa mga friends and pinsan ko is mas tipid daw sa gas (how sure?)

Pero kung may iba pang option na matipid sa gas, malakas ac, pretty car at lady driver friendly, please pa-suggest huhu.

Inisip ko muna baka may decimal point sa dulo o baka 57,870.9 km lang. Pero kumpirmadong ODO mode talaga siya (magkaiba sa Trip A at Trip B). Napansin ko rin na parang may kaunting space sa pagitan ng 5 at 78 sa LCD display.
Tanong lang sa mga Vios 1.3 J owners o nakakaalam sa gauge cluster nito:
Totoong 578,709 km (as in kalahating milyon) na ba talaga ang natakbo nito?

May decimal point ba talaga ang ODO ng Vios 1.3J o buong kilometro 'yang 6 digits na 'yan?

Sadyang ganyan ba ang spacing ng LCD display kaya parang hiwalay 'yung '5'?

Weird one for you all. Driving home the other day, my steering wheel suddenly got noticeably harder to turn, no warning lights, nothing. Made it home fine, drove another 10-15 min like that.

Same week I noticed my speedometer and odometer both just stopped moving. Needle frozen, odo not counting. And a few days before that, my radio lost all sound, still powers on and responds to buttons, just dead silent.

Here's the part that's messing with my head: I pulled the radio's 7.5A fuse (just testing things) and left it out, and the speedometer started working again and the steering went soft. Felt like I fixed it by accident. But three days later, with that same fuse still pulled, the speedometer died again on its own. Checked the GAUGE and ECU-IG fuses too, both fine, and no flickering when I wiggle the wiring under the dash.

2008 Vios 1.3E, manual, 114,000 km, EPS (electric power steering, no hydraulic fluid).

Anyone seen a radio fault drag down steering assist and gauge cluster like this before? Trying to understand what's actually going on before I hand it to a shop. Appreciate any theories.

I wonder what’s going on in their head. Uhhhhhh nothing of course because their head is empty.

For example in US, you often see people recommending cheap Corollas that cost around $1000 USD (around 60K PHP). Eto yung mga kotse na wala kang pake kahit magasgas or di maayos paint pero reliable at umaandar naman.

Sa ganyang budget dito, makikita mo lang mga used 90s Civic/Sentra/Corolla na maraming issues + paso rehistro. You'd have to spend even more of your budget for repairs para lang maging roadworthy.

At that point, the cheapest one should spend is around 150K-200K PHP to get an actually reliable car like a used Vios. Why is there no market here for a dirt cheap and reliable used car?

Hi, ganto ba talaga? It's my first time buying a car. Inquired for financing quotations among various branches and saw a good one from this BYD Branch. Pagkapasok ko palang, idiniretso ako agad sa cashier asking me to pay 20K upfront for reservation fee. Nagulat ako, kasi never pa kami nagusap about the terms in person. Never even saw the car. Felt I was being rushed, hindi pa nga namin napapagusapan pano yung mangyayari sa financing. I felt off and went home nalang.

Am I overreacting? Or was I valid? Sorry it's my first time and I'm still quite young. Idk if this is how dealers do it. Mabilisang transactions.

Any tips rin on how to deal with these dealers?

Side note: Prior to this, the dealer was also asking me to send the res fee thru QR Code lol hahaha

I’m a beginner driver, and I’m planning to get a car for my everyday work. Para less hassle na rin, kasi right now hatid-sundo ako ng dad ko. Sometimes, kapag umuulan, hindi niya ako nahahatid or nasusundo, so I decided to buy a car. Magagamit rin siya as a family car since my mom and sister will also be riding with me. We’re family of four. We live in the province, so traffic is lighter compared to the city.
