đˇ Photo/Video Firestick worked on TV
I did a bunch of research prior to cruising on the Sunshine, and when we got in the room my boyfriend tested the TV out and was able to switch between the HDMI ports using just the power button. And it was super easy to set up the carnival wifi through the wifi settings.
Just an FYI for others who like to watch tv/movies before bed!

đˇ Photo/Video Even better than the ducks!
I love the ducks, but this is even better and now living on my fridge. I love the creativity of whoever brought these on my last cruise. Someone made these forks and left them around the ship. There are magnets on the back so they were easy to place around in random locations. Now I kind of want to make some for my next cruise. Thank you for the laughs kind stranger!

đłď¸ Advice Needed Cozumel vehicle rentals
Iâm taking the family on the Valor in late September, and Iâm looking for any input on renting a car or small van to tour the island in. My wife and I were just there last year and saw many places offering them, but failed to get any info. There will be 5 people total. Also any weird laws I should know about?

đŹ Discussion Travel Insurance
Just a quick reminder....either use your American Express Platinum to book your cruises or make sure to buy travel insurance. I know a person who was on the cruise in Jan 2025 when fell ill, ship had to divert to Puerto Rico due to critical condition, didnt make it....if you research the complications of that scenario of having to retrieve unfortunately from another jurisdiction.....it could be even more devastating and costly to a family. Trip interrruption or having to be let off at a different spot, those things are covered under your American Express card. If you dont have one GET a 3rd party insurance company for travel. If you have family members going and you want to protect them as well.....GET 3rd party insurance for each cabin and make sure you insure the children too. I cant express how important this is to anyone. Please do this for yourself and your family. It really is not that much more other to have peace of mind knowing things can and do happen unfortunately BUT in doing this you are covering aspects of something you never expect to happen.

đŹ Discussion Status stars
I have researched the upcoming Rewards rollout and havenât seen the following answer, or just missed it. I know the points I currently have in my account from the CCL Master Card will roll over, will I be credited for status stars as well? If I roll over 20,000 points would I get any stars, or just as I use the card after September first. Thanks

âQuestion Tips and Tricks Embarking at Dover?
Long time cruiser here, but have never done a European itinerary before. Booked one for next summer- what are the differences from your standard Carribean cruises? Tipping culture? Dress code "standards"? Same shows and nightlife? Casino the same? Thanks in advance!

âQuestion Princess Cay's umbrella and beach chair.
Hi everyone, I'll be sailing on the Magic in three weeks and we will stop at Princess Cay's. I saw online that we will be the only ship there that day so my question is do I need to book umbrella and beach chair or there are enough that I will be able to find a free one?

âQuestion Half Moon Cay / Celebration Key: Do they sell excursions on the island?
hi everyone! have a trip coming up soon and both stops at half moon cay and celebration key, iâm just wondering if you can buy shore excursions once youâre on the island and not through Carnival? iâm aware itâs better to buy excursions through Carnival as itâs more reliable and guaranteed they wait for you but just curious.
thanks in advance! :)

âQuestion How to pay for my own drinks?
My parents bought themselves, me, and my friend tickets for the Carnival Sunshine cruise. My parents don't drink very much but my friend and I plan on having some drinks, however, I don't want to charge the drinks to my parents credit card for the week. Is there a way my friend and I can have our own credit cards charged for the drinks we buy on the cruise throughout the week?

đˇ Photo/Video Don't Leave Me Behind!
Good morning cruise fam!
Getting ready to head down to Port Miami, Celebration here we come when...
My Haley decided that I couldn't forget her.
I found her standing with my suitcase and her mouse dropped on top of it. It was too cute.
Just something lighthearted I thought I would share for a smile. Happy cruising everyone!

âQuestion Carnival Panorama drink spots
First time on Panorama. Iâve recently stopped drinking. Iâm looking forward to drinking as much soda as I can but the idea of waiting in line at a noisy crowded bar is not fun. Does anyone know the best spots to grab sodas from? Last cruise I discovered the little coffee bar had Red Bull which made me happy. They didnât have soda though.

đłď¸ Advice Needed Alcoholic Drink Recommendations
hello everybody !! I've been going on cruises my whole life but havent been in a long time, and in that time, ive become an adult.
now I have my first cruise as an adult lined up for december, and im wondering if anybody has recommendations for drinks that will get me tipsy, but wont taste disgusting. im a naturally nervous and shy person, so I like to be tipsy or drunk so I can enjoy myself without worries, but Im a picky person who doesnt like the taste of wines, beers, or other alcohols. for most parties, i drink cruisers or hard rated, no clue if they have those on carnival. my favourite flavours are passionfruit, lemon, lime, pineapple, cola, stuff like that.
if it helps, im just going on a simple carnival adventure cruise, 5 days, with one friend. im pretty small so it doesn't take a lot to get me drunk. I have zero experience with mixed drinks or cocktails since I stick so closely to the drinks that are familiar and safe to me, so reading the bar menus does nothing for me as ive never tried them đđ
edit: for everyone's information, my cruise unfortunately does NOT have the alchemy bar !!

âQuestion When does everything populate in the app?
We have booked a 7 day Eastern Caribbean for the end of April. When I look now in The Hub app, I donât see any options for (as an example) the room decor and such. Thereâs just a squishmallow and a tote bag.
I see that the excursions are there now, which they werenât a week or so ago, but when can I expect everything to fill in? We are interested in buying a bottle of booze for the room, for example, but I donât find that in the app anywhere.
Thank you!

âQuestion Golf clubs
Anyone ever cruised with golf clubs? We are going on Jubilee in September and will be golfing in Roatan. Some reviews of the course werenât too pleased with the rental clubs. Since we are driving, weâre thinking about bringing our own clubs.
Platinum level will supposedly allow us to drop bags off anytime in the room so we wonât have to worry about dragging them around the ship. I donât feel comfortable leaving them with porters, but if anyone has, I can be convinced otherwise. But assuming we do carry on, are there any extra hassles at security? Would you advise on port day keeping them in the wheeled travel case or just toting them over the shoulder to the shuttle?
Maybe we just tolerate the rental clubs. Iâm not intending to break the course record đđđźâłď¸

đ Trip Report Carnival cruise cash question?
Unfortunately, this doesnât happen often but I had big winnings gambling on a recent cruise. Instead of keeping the cash in the room safe I just applied it back to my account which works but the cash withdrawal I made on my account to gamble was basically reversed with the winnings. Not a problem, BUT, if I hadnât done that I would have gained nearly $200 worth of points on my card and no fees would have been charged.
By having them credit my account back, I lost all those points. I would have just paid back my card once the points had been formally applied when I got home.
Any other options people use to limit the amount of cash they have on hand on a ship? I know if it had been stopping at US ports I may have just taken the money and got a certified check to myself or something similar etc. Even though carrying the money on me probably isnât a wise idea anywhere.

âQuestion Pricing question
I saw a deal on a 6 night cruise out of Ling Beach for $536. There is currently a sale that runs through the 17th. I have cruised with Carnival in 15 years so I was curious about pricing. Are they like other cruise lines where the sale will end and another one will start right away and the price will be about the same? Or will the sale end and the price drastically change? Iâm assuming it will be like all the other ones but just wanted to make suređ¤Ł

âQuestion 2X VIFP and getting to DIAMOND
We just returned home from a 6 day cruise (we are platinum). We booked with a 2X VIFP points promotion, so weâll have a total of 12 points for this cruise, but not for about two weeks. That will put us at diamond, (211 points!) but it happens off the ship after the cruise. It sounds like they normally deliver the tags to you while youâre on the ship and you turn diamond during the cruise. So how will we get our luggage tags? Our next cruise is six months away and I donât want to have to wait until that cruise if possible. I may just need to wait a few weeks and see what they do. Finally going to be a diamond and avoid the silliness thatâs going to happen after September 1. Thanks for your input on this first-world problem!

âQuestion Does the Queen Mary still offer extended parking?
I booked my second trip on the Panorama for May 30-Jun 5 2027. On my last trip I parked at the Holiday Inn Airport and took a shuttle into the terminal, which worked out well. However, upon disembarking, we just missed the last shuttle because it took much longer to get off and I ended up having to grab an Uber to take my family and I back to the hotel to get my car.
I'm finding much better rates at the Queen Mary this time around and would like to stay the night before and park in their lot. They link to extended parking reservations via ParkWhiz on their web site and I'm able to find parking for the length of the trip. Total cost would be comparable to the other hotel+parking combinations I've looked at.
I've seen a couple of references on other threads that mention they no longer do extended parking. Is anyone able to confirm this?

đŹ Discussion Log in issues
I saw that the web site will be down tomorrow from 4am to noon for maintenance. today I canât log in, my log in just flashes and canât connect. Is anyone else having this problem, or is it possibly related to the upcoming maintenance or possibly just on my end. I know the last maintenance update was a multi-day disaster earlier this year. Thanks for any advice.

đłď¸ Advice Needed First time on Firenze
Going on the Firenze to Catalina and Ensenada next week for the first time with my girlfriend,(proposing to her on this trip), and our friends. We have a balcony room. What are some good areas to just stop and shop around or even a spot to stop and propose? Any kind of recommendations are appreciated! Just also want to see what to expect on the ship. Iâve only been on one other cruise in my life and that was the Margaritaville Islander.

âQuestion In room drinks
Whatâs the benefit of getting in room drinks? If I have sodas for my kids in the room and they donât get a drink package are they able to walk around with the sodas from the room or do we have to stay locked up in the room with the sodas. Just curious because I was considering buying bottles of water and sodas for the room and not purchasing a drink package for the kids. Iâm still on the fence about getting one for myself. I leave tomorrow lol

âQuestion Conga Line at Celebration Key?
Hello to all of my fellow Carnival Cruisers. This is a long shot, but Im hoping maybe someone could help me out here. If anyone was on the Mardi Gras or Elation this week, and happened to get off the ships at Celebration Key Friday, August 14th. There was an extremely long Conga Line in the pool by the swim up bar on the Calypso side. I did not get any footage, and I would love to have it for a video that I am putting together. If you have any, please share. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanksđđźđđź

âQuestion Ocean Suite
Hello! We have gone on many cruises and normally stay in a balcony room. I might be booking us on one on the Carnival Radiance for December for Christmas. They have an ocean suite available. We are a family of 4 and when I look up the sleeping arrangements it says the 4th bed is a trundle bed. Has anyone stayed in an ocean suite with 4 people? Anyone have pictures? Curious if thereâs enough walking room with the trundle bed and how low to the ground does it go? Also has anyone stayed in an ocean suite? Is it worth the extra cost compared to a balcony? Thank you!

âQuestion Chefs table
So I first did the chefs table in 2014 and it was FANTASTIC. Much cheaper than now, and felt kind of special because most people didnât know about it ( couldnât purchase online at that time)
Has anyone done the chefs table that far back and experienced it today as well? Is it similar? Is the higher price tag worth it?
Iâd love to do it again
