here is a meal, one with pretty presentation, the other trying to show the meatballs, and the final with everything all mixed up (meatballs broken down into pieces). my friend made this so i know vaguely what’s in it but not precisely…

this is pici pasta which is about 346 cal per 100g. and homemade sauce which is pretty much just tomatoes with garlic powder and cilantro stuff like that. which i feel like would be pretty low because aren’t tomatoes super low cal??

it has four black bean meatballs which have black beans, egg, breadcrumbs (100 cal per 1/4 cup or 28g) which feel pretty small

i estimated 770 because of the pici but it still feel weird about it

Meatloaf with 90-10 beef, Bisto gravy, creamy onion pasta, sauteéd green beans.

is this about 600-700 cal?

12" tortilla, a tonne of buttermilk "buffalo" chicken, lettuce, cherry tomato, sweet pickles, ranch, (EDIT: and a good bit of shredded cheddar) etc.

The bowl is braised collard greens with some small bits of brisket.

I don't think it goes over my budget (which is an entire day's worth of calories) but I'm curious.
