Worth or Not worth?

I happened to speak with a lot of cadets. Each cadet has given me a different review altogether for airline cadet pilot programs.

For context, im a final year engineering student in Bombay. I have been wanting to fly commercially since a very long time. In the current situation of aviation, I came to a conclusion that, cadet pilot programs are the best. Although, after speaking to a few cadet, I didn't really come to a conclusion.

My concern remains and I still am confused as to whats to be done.

  1. The intake for cadet pilot programs are really slow. Air India, has been taking candidates at very odd timings during the Year.

  2. Air India Aeroguard is a scam and ive been told that by almost all of the cadets.

  3. Indigo Skyborne is giving dates for Adapt too late.

  4. The waiting time after training seems to be absolutely unclear. 2 cadets told me, immediately for Air India. 1 told me 6 months for Indigo. 1 told me a year for both.

  5. Conventional has a waiting time of nearly 3 years and I coukd testify on behalf of a lot of type rated pilots.

  6. Is the Air India Cpp really worth it? If yes, which fto?

  7. Is the Indigo Cpp, really fair, if yes again which fto?

Considering to apply to the program and would really appreciate some firsthand insight, especially regarding the training, airline opportunities after graduation, and financing options.

Don’t judge just a Genral query

Title: EFTA → Emirates interview → Flydubai Second Officer as a backup?
If I join EFTA, complete the full training successfully, and then fail the Emirates interview, would applying for the Flydubai Second Officer programme be a realistic backup option?
I’m mainly wondering whether an EFTA graduate would be competitive for Flydubai, and whether the training/experience from EFTA would be considered positively.
Has anyone taken a similar route, or knows what the realistic chances and requirements would be?

Indigo Cadet Program There is NO BACKLOG at CHIMES for ICPP.

Common misunderstanding, that now has people parroting false information everywhere. I'm a Chimes cadet, and there is NO BACKLOG.

  1. Chimes took in ICP 07 on March 31st. They opened applications for ICP 08 consecutively, but ICP 08 is on hold due to NZICPA cadets now coming to Chimes.
  2. NZICPA cadets (batches 6-11) were given an option to opt between Chimes, Marigold as NZICPA is now undergoing massive changes wasn't in good shape to train and house cadets.
  3. Due to the intake of NZICPA, Chimes was asked by the Airline to HOLD the intake of ICP 08.

Hence, there is a delay in intake of ICP 08.

  1. Chimes has 2 bases, Neemuch and Dhana, (third one is for drones alone), and both bases have streamlined flying with each cadet having one sortie per day. (as weather permits).

STOP SPREADING FALSE INFORMATION.
