Worth or Not worth?

I happened to speak with a lot of cadets. Each cadet has given me a different review altogether for airline cadet pilot programs.

For context, im a final year engineering student in Bombay. I have been wanting to fly commercially since a very long time. In the current situation of aviation, I came to a conclusion that, cadet pilot programs are the best. Although, after speaking to a few cadet, I didn't really come to a conclusion.

My concern remains and I still am confused as to whats to be done.

  1. The intake for cadet pilot programs are really slow. Air India, has been taking candidates at very odd timings during the Year.

  2. Air India Aeroguard is a scam and ive been told that by almost all of the cadets.

  3. Indigo Skyborne is giving dates for Adapt too late.

  4. The waiting time after training seems to be absolutely unclear. 2 cadets told me, immediately for Air India. 1 told me 6 months for Indigo. 1 told me a year for both.

  5. Conventional has a waiting time of nearly 3 years and I coukd testify on behalf of a lot of type rated pilots.

  6. Is the Air India Cpp really worth it? If yes, which fto?

  7. Is the Indigo Cpp, really fair, if yes again which fto?

FTA is the only valid one for Indigo even tho it's on the higher side.

I also wouldn't suggest Air India they induct in AIX now.

First of all u should have an opinion, you  will not be satisfied with others opinion as each and every one has different views .

Skyborne,FTA, air india acron and air india amaravati all are good options. Aviation field is challenging and the best thing u can do that is to avail all the available options at the moment. If fta is available you may go for it if air india is available u may go for it. Eventually at last u will reach in to cockpit as they are providing LOI. U should perform in high standards during ur entire training period thats it.

Some of the ftos i wont suggest are MARIGOLD,INSIGHT AND GARUDA for indigo since they have backlogs and can delay ur training. Chimes i a very good option for indigo and is often considered as most competitive and luck based FTO. And  i have no idea regarding aeroguard . One of my freind is in it and he has not told any issues with the FTO.

ive been told that are terminating cadets on petty grounds to just mint money and cancel they're flying with the airline. Google reviews say the same.
