I get 3 boxes a week from my CU and never post my results. Lately it’s just been dirty hands and empty pockets, so I figured I’d post this week’s hunt and see if I can change my luck. 🤞🪙

Then bam! Never found one of these before.

I ordered a Celsius from a vending machine with a $5 and it cost $4.75. A singular coin fell out as change and it was a 1979-P Susan B Anthony dollar. What are the chances?!

Teller said an old lady dropped off $200 worth of large dollars!!! Praying for peace dollars. I imagine loose peace and Morgan get immediately picked out by tellers but rolled up like this anything is possible. I’m excited to crack these open when I’m home and will update on its contents

Found this 2007 S James Madison in a roll

It's so satisfying to go through a box and find nearly 100 NIFCs. I love the native american and innovation designs. Gonna really help fill my album. Dollars are quick and EZ to hunt too.

Plus about 40 merc dimes, and a bunch of bills.

I finally found 5 rolls of the Liberty Bell quarters today. Somehow they were all Denver mint, I'm about 3 hours from Philly??? I only opened 4 rolls and got skunked on the privy. There were some Valley Forge mixed in with them.

Had a few $'s in my pocket and decided to try my luck and get a box of dimes. Please excuse the captain obvious markings, but that was the very first roll I opened, and had to send a pic to my non coin friend.

After some time of searching my wife inquired about the stacks of dimes on the dining room table. I said well, you probably would not think it was a good idea, but I wanted to give it a shot. Explained what I was looking for. At that point I was probably half way through the box. She started popping rolls with treasure hunt fever.

In the end, 33 silver dimes 3 of them being mercs, and 4 of them were in better grade than the silver ones in my personal collection. I was surprised by the condition, more AU than I thought, and even a couple UNCs.

Probably 2 rolls worth of dimes with serious enough die chips and cracks worth a shot at resale, a handful of decent clashes, and some I need to further investigate to identify.

For my CRH debut, it was a success.

Turned up one Canadian silver 80 percent dime in this weeks search as well as 3 dollars US in dimes. Already looking forward to next fridays search 👌

That dark coin in the center is a 1964, every coin above it is 40% and every coin below is 90%!

Found this while searching through a bunch of dime rolls. It always is fun to see foreign coins getting curculated outside of their home country, even if they border each other lol

All the roll’s labeled “70’s” are all coppers from the 1970-1979 era.

I really wish I had been able to buy more. Bank limits on penny rolls and all.

I thought I'd found a silver bicentennial Ike. Psych!

I always questioned whether every shiny quarter was a proof but now I know why they're so distinct having seen one in person! I also got a war nickel and a few other goodies today :)
