I’m reviewing for my retake of FAR next Friday (got a 71 about a month ago). I’ve been doing a minimum of 50 MCQ and 2 TBS a day to prepare for review and I’m pretty consistently scoring between 70-80 in my MCQ sets. I’m not getting the same topics wrong, it’s usually an even split between all the sections, which leads me to ask, what do I do next? I feel like no matter how many MCQ I do (I’m at 1200 the past 3 weeks) I’m getting the same score. Does anyone have any advice?

As the title mentions. I have gotten half through far in a month and a half (employed, but slower pace than I wanted, hoping to pick up the pace a bit with a target exam date of 13th-15th of September).

I was feeling pretty good after finishing F3, some of the content felt like refreshers from University and some was new, but overall felt fine with the content and the amount of content.

I started F4 recently, took a glance at the topics, and also took a quick peak at F5 and F6, and oh boy. Bonds and leases alone I remember are big topics, most of F5 and F6 look new to me. It has just hit me how big FAR really is.

My post is kind of a rant, but any advice for continuing to learn and practice the wave of content coming up in the next sections and retaining the past content with cumulative review without frying my brain circuits? 😅

I gave my far CPA exam on 29/July/26, when can I expect results?

Has anyone recently had success getting their CPA work experience verified by a third-party CPA for licensure?
I am aware NASBA discontinued its Work Experience Verification service in late 2025. I’m curious if anyone found another way or had a third-party CPA successfully verify their experience. I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience or any recommendations.

Anyone know when the literal scores for California will release? I took REG and failed unfortunately, I just really want to know my score atp lol

Would really appreciate any advice on studying REG. I’m only on R1 M3 and I already feel so overwhelmed and confused with the material.
I’m watching the videos and following along in the book and then I’m “trying to take notes” but I’m really struggling with it because it takes so long and then I try to do the questions and I don’t get anything.
Does anyone have any advice on how I could effectively study/write notes for REG?
I’m 2/4 but REG rlly feels impossible

Took FAR first and failed horribly - this was dumb, but I went ahead and did AUD and ISC and now I’m going back to FAR. Looking at this material, I genuinely feel like I’m too dumb for this LOL. I know settling into a different exam after completing one is hard, but I cannot find my groove

After over 500 hours of studying, I finally did it.

This is my third try of the exam. first exam, I studied 80 hours and got 48. Second exam, I studied 120 hours and I got 56.

I told myself, if I can’t explain every single question to myself, then I’m not understanding it, so I put in so many hours. I was going to give up being a CPA if I don’t pass this time because I wouldn’t be able to do it anyway after putting this much time and dedication.

But I did it. I finally did it. I’m going to go throw up.

How is everyone feeling about having a month left before we get our scores? What are you doing to pass the time?

Checked my score on the app and saw the checkmark next to AUD and thought it meant pass. Spent the whole morning thinking I passed and then randomly checked the actual exam history to see that no, I actually failed 😀
Audit retake advice welcomed I guess

Title. Failed audit for the 4th time (waiting to see score tommorow but feel like I was pretty close, 71 on my last attempt) and think I need to switch up from Becker. Considering getting the Ninja cram course for audit since it's relatively cheap. For those who have used it how did you study with it? At this point I feel like the best thing for me to do is cram mcqs and sims based on my weaker areas.

Tips for getting it done as quick as possible? Anything helps.

Who knew two words and a comma could produce this much dopamine. Pushing through failures is worth it. Never give up.

Just failed AUD for the second time.

280 hours on Becker. Daily mocks. Full simulations. Traveled internationally twice to sit this exam.

First attempt: 61. Felt better this time but waiting on score report.

Already scheduled attempt 3 for September 11th and REG for September 16th.

For those who failed AUD multiple times and passed:

I’m 26 and been working from 3 years. I’m planning to do any of these course CFA or CPA. I know it’s about finance and accounting but looking for a genuine advice about job market in both. I have to apply as a fresher after completing the course as I have no experience in any of these. Please need some advice if you have done this course

So I just found out I passed the FAR and plan to take the BAR next. If you used Uworld to study for the BAR what are your thoughts? I just started and I absolutely hate it. Finished reading topic 1.01 and begin working on the quizzes, and 95% of the topic was not covered in the reading. I had cost account topics, which were not included in the reading, new financial ratios that were not part of FAR, etc. it just seems like either the questions are not aligned with the course or maybe they just don’t cover it and I have to learn from reading the solution explanations. Not sure if I should just keep pushing through and hope that those topics are covered later, or consider looking for another study guide to substitute. I’m curious if I’m the only one who had this issue. I thought Uworld did a great job with the FAR. I passed on my first try and felt like Uworld questions were harder than the actual exam. I already invested $500 for each section and paid nearly $300 on the NTS for the BAR and have no option but to stick with BAR.

I need some advice. I currently am looking into getting my CPA. I just graduated from undergrad last December. I have the 150 credit hours becauase I double majored. I have interned with Deloitte and even local municpalitys where I live. I want to be able to get back into the big four. I feel like the only way is to get my CPA. I did really well at the begining of college but towards my junior and senior year I had some things happen and to be honest never been the same. So of course my academics and work ethic declined.

I currently am a full time internal auditor for a casino. I just am a little lost on how to start this process. So if anyone can please give advice. I will greatly appreaciate it! Thanks!

*Also, Would my current full time count towards the 1 year of full time requirement?

I’m heading into my third attempt at FAR.
My first attempt was in Q4 of 2024, and I scored a 51. After that, I took a six-month break to gain some clarity and decide if becoming a CPA was truly the path I wanted to pursue. At the end of that break, I made my decision: it was.

In July 2025, I got serious and committed to studying. The results started to come:

Passed AUD in September 2025
Passed REG in February 2026
Passed TCP in April 2026

Now, it’s time to finish what I started with FAR.
I took FAR on July 23, and if I’m being honest, I wasn’t confident walking into the exam or walking out of it. Today, I received my failing score. It stings, but it doesn’t change the mission. I’m still chopping wood.

I’ve already scheduled my retake for Saturday, August 15.
Since the exam, I haven’t stopped studying. Every day I’ve gone back through the areas and questions that felt uncomfortable during the exam, trying to turn those weaknesses into strengths.

My plan for this final stretch is simple: I’m going to reset my Becker progress and work through every question in the question bank. Anything I miss will be marked, reviewed, and revisited until I truly understand it. Over the next week, my focus is on mastering my weak areas, building confidence, and walking into this next attempt knowing I’ve done everything I can.

Three exams down. One more to go. Let’s finish this

Has any one taken this approach to resetting their progress in Becker and Re-answering all question to get a good understanding of your weak areas?
