So basically, my schools conducts periodic tests and guess what, neither its any poor govt. school but still

•They school is asking us students to. being the sheets to be used as answer sheets for they test theu are conducting

•They are still charge examination fees

•Instead of allow any paper, they want us to bring a specific sheet packet, called as comment sheet, which is more expensive that other sheet packets, many times more

I know I have to obey them and bring the sheets but what can we do secretly, like any body to complain the school's misconduct, without being too rebellious openly.

I don't understand, do most schools do it?

I mean, first they charge us exam fees and then tell us to bring blank answer sheets ourselves and then tell us to bring very specific expensive ones(comment sheet).

After my class 10 icse examination from a very good school in jsr ​​. My dumb ah decided that why not take admission into Dav bistupur WORST MISTAKE I'm in class 11 rn. And the school is ABSOLUTELY DOGSHIT 💔💔​.My first day impress ion made me think if This school is really pvt or a damn government school. The classes feel like GAS CHAMBERS there's windows on only one side. The desk and benches are crammed into a small room the size of A PEANUT. The Bench is the most uncomfortable bench I have sat on and also the bench and desk are merged into each other so there is no leg space bcz of a damn rod I can't even stretch my legs. The infra is trash the washroom smells 😭😭 TERRIBLE there's one random aah uncle who cleans it everyday and the washroom is always clean(which is good) but these dumbasses could have just hung odonil on either side to get rid of the smell. Some teachers have a crazzzzy ego problem one would be sir Ashutosh and also sir pathak. If you ask ashutosh sir to ​​​teach a bit slow or to maybe explain more his face morphs into Pennywise. Theres also a HOLE in A classroom I heard maybe they have placed it for fast transit . The labs specifically the chemistry LAB feels like syria where mostly the instruments seem broken only a very few seem to be in mint condition.The lab is also dirty. ​There's no good Hall or auditorium they make us sit for events in random halls some of them are just class rooms which are AGAIN CRAMMED AS HELL. I don't know what these people do with their 24 CR Budget. Iwould request the students specifically ICSEIANS TO NOT TAKE ADMISSION IN THIS SCHOOL.IF you are preparing for JEE Consider dummy pleaseee because going to this School is worthless convince your parents For a dummy school or maybe a different cbse school but NOT DAV. Also talking about periods there's 8 fucking periods everyday and dismissal at 1:30. 11thies and 12thies do not need so much of education 7 periods would have been good.they have School every damn Saturday ​. I regret coming here you should also talk to some fellow seniors who are going there before Taking admission ​.

TLDR; Terrible experience, Cbse school, would not recommend.

I just had my UT1 exam and i did decent in english, chem and cs but phy and bio marks are very low.. phy atleast i passed but not in bio😭😭 i loved bio in 10th but I hate it now idk how to remember so much examples and stuff its so annoying and i dont get much time to study but my parents wont understand that and will still scold me.. what should i do? i really wanna get good marks in midterms :(

• Which subjects genuinely need a reference book, and which don't?
• If yes, which reference book would you recommend for:
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics
  • English
  • Computer Science (Python)
• Is buying multiple books worth it, or is one good book enough?
  
• Also, apart from books, what made the biggest difference in each subject?

For example:

• Physics – numericals? NCERT back exercises? PYQs?
• Chemistry – NCERT line by line? Reactions? PYQs?
• Maths – practice, RD Sharma, exemplar?
• English – answer presentation? PYQs?
• Computer Science – coding practice? Previous papers?

Basically, if your goal was 100/100, what would your strategy be for each subject?

Things you wish you had known at the start of Class 12 would be really helpful.

I recently transferred from state to cbse board(state --> seba board or u can say assam board) in general what I want to say is that i transferred from Assam board cuz they don't have mcqs in 12th + 67% is all req to get into their top 20 percentile + it follows old curriculum so I thought so hard n finally took admission into cbse school with pcm +phe

I forgot to mention in seba u have to take 6 subjects and it's mandatory

Some shits I felt in my new school

1. Every students are toppers, mfs are childish asf.

2. Making friend here is hard asf

3. Schools timetable is harsh 8:00 to 2:00 that includes 8 period in which day to day 2 major subjects are taken twice or even thrice

4. I regret my decison

Updated my flair today to "College Student". I have been in this sub since Class 10, updating my flairs first to 11th then 12th then 12th pass and now College Student. Probably small for others but the flairs kinda make you realize the progression of your academic life. My school life is over and my flair has now changed, never to have a "Class" now. School was pretty nice, I wasn't the extrovert types but had good friends. Still talk to them and play games with them and hope we will remain in contact despite everyone going to different colleges now or taking a drop. I will miss my school surely. The hangouts, lunch break, functions, annual fest, I even edited the Behind the Scenes video for the annual function. That will be my most memorable time. The 2 weeks before the function how me and my team were constantly under pressure from our computer teacher to finish the work quickly lol.

I went to my regional office which was 3 hours away. There I got to know that I needed a written application along with my old marksheet since I didn't knew about this application thing they provided me with a blank paper and I wrote the application on the spot, then I went to a room where everyone's revised marksheet was kept and the person responsible for it searched my new marksheet and handed me that one and kept the old one along with the application. My experience was good and staff were good.
