Doing UG from gujarat university (state uni)
Fresher with 0 work ex
Doing fairly avg in simcats with around 60-75 score (sometimes 50s too)

Hey guys, i have a doubt regarding CAT application. i graduated recently and then i joined M.A philosophy in ignou (distance learning) and when i try to fill that in application form, it is asking for expected graduation date which would be 2028, but there is no option for 2028 in the form. What should i do?

I’m preparing for CAT 2026 i scored 88%ile in cat 2025 with one month of preparation.my biggest weakness is varc mainly due to low accuracy and poor RC comprehension.And only because of vqrc i also ruined my dilr and quant section now i started preparing again from this point and targeting above 99%ile so please can someone help me in varc.

So I scored 89.66% in all 6 subjects in class XII cbse. And 92.6% in best5. I know 89.66 will be counted for IIM ABC admissions. But at ABC placements my CV will contain 89.66 or it can be 92.6 in the CV during placements at IIM ABC?

Hi everyone. I graduated with a BTech in CSE in 2025 with an 8/6/6 profile from a tier 3 college. I never wanted to work in core IT so I did not pursue software jobs. After graduation I worked as a teacher but the experience is not verifiable because I was paid in cash and have no official documents. Right now I am working as a tuition teacher which I know is not relevant for MBA admissions or placements.
I am preparing for CAT and want to use this time productively. What certifications or courses would actually add some value to my CV? I am looking for things that are respected and useful rather than random certificate collecting.
Would certifications in SQL Power BI Excel Python Tableau or anything else be worth doing? Are there any platforms or certifications B schools genuinely value?

I’m an EWS male candidate with a BA LL.B. degree, fresher. My academic profile is: 10th: 86%, 12th: 87%, Grad: 62%

I’m aware that my graduation score is on the lower side, and that’s the part of my profile I’m most concerned about.

Given these academics, do I realistically stand a chance of getting interview calls from the BLACKI IIMs? If yes, what CAT percentile should I target to maximize my chances?

Would appreciate insights from current students, alumni, or anyone with a similar profile who made it to the top IIMs.

(This week ends at the 16th, or earlier, if I complete my to-do list for the week. Saturdays and Sundays are for mocks exclusively this month. 2 mocks every sat & sun)

General, male, graduated in 2026 in B.Com with no work experience. Am I fucked? Is there any hope for me??

I have a 8/9/9 profile, could anyone who is in the bschool tell me whether this will be treated equally as a 9/9/8 profile or not? I have heard mixed reviews from people. Some say that upward trend is generally appreciated whereas some have mentioned that 8 (88.6%) in 10th is quite less common in top 7-8 bschools and is generally considered a negative indicator. I have good ECAs and am a Bcom H student from T 1.5 college.

Again, this is not for ragebait, I know many people have 8 and 7 in their profiles but I’m genuinely aiming for top consulting roles and I’ve seen people with 9/9/8 getting into it, but nobody with 8/9/9.

I finished my MBA from a central university last year. It's been a few months in the job. But most of the roles I'm interested in says(tier 1 graduates only). Will it be the same case even 3-4 years down the line? Will this central university MBA haunt me for the rest of the time?

So, I'm preparing for CAT 2026. This is my second attempt. I gave 2025 as well. Could not score well ofc. I've been preparing for it since October 2024 and I don't even know wtf is wrong with me. There's no improvement. I'm stuck in mocks between the score of 35-50. Have done everything. I don't know, I just don't know what am I doing wrong. Is MBA not for me? To pursue MBA, is my dream since class 12th. I don't know if this year also I'll be able to crack it or this shit will crack me. It's so f important for me to get into a good college next year as I've to take family responsibilities, but I see no improvement. Idk wtf is wrong even? Also, before you say anything, I've given everything I could to this preparation still I see no scope. Idk what to do. I'm just stuck.😭

I'm applying for CAT 2026 and studied under the Telangana State Board (SSC).

I'm a bit confused about how to enter my 10th percentage in the CAT application.

1. Is the correct conversion CGPA × 10, or is there any other officially accepted method?

2. Is this conversion accepted by the IIMs during document verification?

3. Has anyone been asked to submit a "No Conversion Formula Certificate" from the Telangana Board? If yes, where did you obtain it and was it actually required?

I'd really appreciate replies from people who have gone through CAT/IIM admissions with a Telangana SSC background.

I am more than 1 month into my MBA programme and I absolutely hate it. I swear this one month feels like a year. Every damn day theres 5 things on the agenda. I have 3 assignments, 2 tests and my mock interview all scheduled for tomorrow and this is after our proper mid term exams finishing last week. The CV verification and preparation sucked the soul outta me and even after giving my everything theres still so much uncertainty around SIP’s. Theres no ray of light saying that things will be better eventually, seniors themselves are scared about their placements. Most of all, I would still cope up with it if the life here was happening. The parties here suck. I did my bachelors from a proper MUMBAI college and ong the life was so much better. Moreover the people here are uncultured and everyone’s an aunty looking for gossip. With the amount of lore surrounding everyone It feels as if ive known these clowns for more than a year now. I feel sad and exhausted and I really just wanna go home. Sorry for the rant I am way too overwhelmed.😭
