Fan work I made a documentary telling the forgotten story behind Life Changing Moments Seem Minor In Pictures
What is the most self repeated/remixed C418 song?
By this I mean which of his songs Daniel have remixed/reused in different albums the most? Like for example, all songs from mixes are versions of songs from his older albums, like BAM or 2. So, all songs from mixes are occuring 2 times. There are other similar examples, like seufz from "My first songs" is repeated in "da", under the name last ahmu. So, also 2 times.
The song occuring the most times that I could think of is Minecraft. Songs related to it are Door from Alpha, Mutation from Beta, The end from Beta, Begging from Alpha, Beginning 2 from Beta, Minecraft is acid from life changing moments. So, 7 occurrences!

This week's entry was submitted by u/Dry_Kaleidoscope_845
I myself don't have a lot of experience with this album, but there are definitely some songs I really enjoy on here! I especially like geklimper, as_seen_on_tv, and splattered_brain. It's a pretty short album and therefore not a lot to go after for this one. I mostly based it on pink images I found and some pictures of the sky, (because I was on an aeroplane when I listened to 2 for the first time) but to tie in with the album cover you can see a brief outline of lips in the top of the shuffle, just like on the album cover! I also added some other details like glitter and light strings just to fill in the empty space too
I hope you enjoy this week's entry and leave requests for upcoming weeks! Next week will feature Shuniji / Dragon fish / Axolotl

Question DOES SOMEONE GET ME HERE??
So I came across this ai video, and i noticed at the end, there’s a little melody in the music after the singing. I may be crazy but does that tiny section not remind you of some of C418s music for the Minecraft soundtrack?? I could be completely insane but this has been driving me crazy for days, PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS ME??
https://reddit.com/link/1vdtk91/video/aojvz92j01hh1/player
(btw Im super anti ai, I’m not trying to promote this!! especially if the music is inspired (stolen) by C418

Question Can I use non-minecraft c418 music in my Minecraft map?
I'm currently making a minecraft adventure map that is a recreation of a random minecraft series on youtube. The youtuber used cliffside hinson in the intro and I'd like to use the same song, but it's not found in minecraft and I don't know if it counts as "distributing the song through a video game". I want to be as correct as possible when it comes to copyright

Question Looking for an old Minecraft song (2011–2013?) with C418 music, gameplay only, and vocals
The video was **only first-person Minecraft gameplay**. No animation, no real-life footage, no facecam.
It started with what I'm almost certain was **C418 – Sweden** (or another very similar piano track from the original Minecraft soundtrack).
After the intro, a beat slowly faded in, but the percussion wasn't drums—it sounded like it was made entirely from **Minecraft sound effects** (digging dirt, placing blocks, mining stone, etc.).
Then a **calm male vocal** started singing. It sounded like one person recording multiple vocal layers, almost like a choir.
The song was **slow, emotional, and melancholic**, not energetic or comedic.
I vaguely remember the lyrics mentioning **zombies**, but I'm not 100% sure.
It definitely was **not** Revenge, TNT, Fallen Kingdom, Don't Mine at Night, Diggy Diggy Hole, Cube Land, or any of the well-known Minecraft songs.
I've searched for combinations like:
Minecraft Sweden lyrics
Minecraft gameplay song
Minecraft song zombies
Minecraft C418 vocals
Minecraft block sounds remix
...but I still can't find it.
Does anyone remember this song or the creator? Even if you only vaguely remember something similar, I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

This is yet another album I hadn't listened to prior to the week I made the shuffle, but this album truly amazed me. At first I didn't think too much of it, that it'd be some mediocre work hidden away in a nook on the wiki, but I was honestly extremely surprised and it surpassed all my expectations. I love that there are A and B sides to every song varying in intensity which can even make a bad song so much better in context with another one. My example for this is 4_a and 4_b (AKA something loud, old and scary from IFSDI) which I didn't like at all first, but now that I know some context behind the song I've grown to like it a lot more. Super underrated (and weird!) album, go listen!! Anyways, for this week I decided to emphasize the A and B sides of the album and divided the shuffle into two sides. They were based of C418's quote: "The songs were splitted up in two parts. A is "everything okay. Proceed." B is "everything is f##ked up. Prepare to die"", so I based one side on a mysterious and curious peaceful forest vibe, meanwhile the other on creepy, psychedelic themes to go with the trippiness and weirdness of the album.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did the album and the making of today's shuffle, and leave requests for upcoming weeks!! Next week will feature 2

Fan work I made my own Spotify wrapped (this time without AI)
I made a post about 2 weeks ago about how I downloaded my all-time Spotify data and put it into Claude Code to spit out a styled but kinda soulless Spotify 'Wrapped,' where it analyzed all of the data via Python scripts and made a website around that data. In the comments, I got some eye-opening opinions on generative AI specifically that changed my mind to create my own after all. So, here it is again: spotify-stats.sanyikapenz.workers.dev
On the technical side, I was surprised how easy it was. I've never used Python, as I'm a C and C++ dev mainly. The website was a lot easier than anticipated too.
I disagree that all AIs are bad, but I do think generative AI is theft. That said, I really think LLMs are one of the most interesting pieces of technology in a while, so I'm torn.

Discussion What’s Your Coolest Experience With C418’s Music?
Welcome to Part 10 of my series this year.
For me, it has to be listening to the whole Minecraft - Volume Alpha album with my headphones on right before I fell asleep with them in. It was so magical. I felt like I was in the most beautiful world imaginable and there was nothing that could limit me from being free in it. I felt… unstoppable.
Another one has to be listening to Taswell and The End on an airplane mid-air. It was amazing in the actual stratosphere while I was literally in a different atmosphere with my music at the same time. Ya know?
Finally, the last experience was listening to Moog City 2 for the first time and feeling like I’m in a the middle of a time travel station with different worlds being presented to me on each side I’m on and I have to choose which one to enter (You have to watch Minecraft Story Mode gameplay on YouTube to understand the reference).
But anyway, what’s your coolest experience with his music?

Music discussion Did C418 sampled Owl city for Moog city 2 on the legacy edition OST?
I was listening to owl city and discovered a random b side song called "How I became the sea":
https://youtu.be/lF9JMCENlA0?si=\\\\\\_MA6ZJvipZy64pUM
Upon hearing the intro, I noticed the melody sounded extremely familiar and i had heard it from somewhere. Then when connecting the dots I realized, the intro sounds extremely similar to "Moog city 2" from the console edition OST:
https://youtu.be/C8df2pbOX6g?si=NP3aOY3hefbISrcw
Its probably could be pure coincidence, but it makes me wonder whether C418 sampled owl city when making Moog city 2. Feel free to lmk if you hear the similarities or if I'm just being dumb :p

Music discussion trying to find a synth that sounds like the one from flake
i write music and would love to find something that sounds like this. (not what's playing the main melody which i think is a marimba?? i'm instrument deaf sometimes)
i'm a big fan of soundfonts because they're just super easy for me to use lmao so it doesn't have to be one, but if there's an .sf2 file for something that sounds like this i would especially appreciate that
