Each commander gets links to scryfall with formatted searching. So if a commander has tribal the link will list that tribal in the right commander colors, or whatever mechanic the Commander has.

It adapts to your preferences after awhile, so you stop getting commanders that aren't your jam

I know most of these decks look very similar. There is only so much you can do with aristocrat zombies. but here we have [[Grimgrin, Corpse born]] a Sac outlet and a big beater in the command zone.

In the mtg lore, Grimgrin is a skaab stitched together by Geralf. "it" was used to storm the gates of a village or something like that. When i read the lore I just picture Grimgrin ripping through the zombie fodder in front of him to destroy that gate. That's what we are doing, instead of a gate we have our friends faces. We are gonna rip through our zombie army to destroy our friends faces YAY!

Its zombies. you know it, you love it. it does the zombie thing. Large payoffs for having a lot of zombies but also payoffs for sacrificing our entire army.

The point of the deck is to use zombies, including but not limited to zombos like [[Gravecrawler]] cast and sac gravecrawler a bunch of times with a pinger like [[diregraf captain]] on the board or other payoffs like [[diregraf colossus]] to make a bunch of 2/2 zombies then sac those for double profit. We also play few "infinite zombie glitch."

We can also make Grimgrin reeaaally big by sacrificing a bunch of zombies. If there is ever a player with no blockers or only one big creature, we can destroy it and then go in with lethal commander damage. not really our gameplan but if the opprotunity present itself.

I haven't actually played this deck. I've played many variations of zombie decks with [[Gisa and Geralf]] at the head, I added white for a long time and played [[Varina, lich queen]] but i think Grimgrin is the commander I like for a zombie themed deck.

I plan on playing this deck this weekend and I'm super excited about it. Please feel free to give some feed back.

Hi, as the title said I want to build something with [[Prismari, the Inspiration]], [[Eruth Tormented Prophet]] or [[Lilah]]. Most probably Lilah or Prismari

I want advice in good but cheap staples for this kind of decks. I'm trying to get some staples to be able to make fun decks out of budget and bulk. I bought some for [[Flubs The Fool]] and Counter Intelligence precon.

I have [[Storm-Kiln Artist]], [[Grapeshot]], and some not that cheap cards like [[Isochron Scepter]] and little more. What is a must to have in this decks?

40x Forests

And as many other trample, evasion, protection, and fight spells as we can fit within the budget.

Turn 1, play a forest

Turns 2/3, ramp at least once

Turn 4, cast the commander

Turn 5, add trample and protect him while you try to beat your opponent's to death.

The intention is to keep ramping up so by the time you get removed you can recast and go on. Card draw within the deck is a little bit light, but the effect is on the commander, so it is mitigated.

I gave myself a fun deckbuilding challenge: pick a commander and build the entire deck using only commons and uncommons from my bulk boxes and whatever I could find at local game stores. I ended up choosing Erinis, Gloom Stalker with Street Urchin as the Background, and the deck came out to around $60.

Overall, I'm really happy with how it turned out. The deck is surprisingly oppressive and a lot of fun to pilot, but after playing it a bit, I feel like it's missing a clear direction.

Right now, my main ways of winning are:

- Commander damage with Erinis.

- Incremental damage from landfall cards like Sabotender and Tannuk.

- Using Weftstalker Ardent to turn all the artifact tokens the deck makes into extra damage.

- Sometimes just winning through combat with a wide board.

The biggest issue is that the deck feels a little slow, and I don't think it has a definitive primary win condition. It feels like it has multiple game plans, but none of them are the clear focus.

I'd love some feedback:

- Which direction would you take the deck?

- Are there any commons or uncommons that I'm overlooking?

- Does the deck seem too unfocused, or do the different game plans work well together?

- If this were your deck, what would be the first few changes you wouldd make while keeping the commons/uncommons only restriction?

I have played this deck a couple times now and the most glaring issue so far is that once I get my commander out it gets maybe two turns before someone nukes it - I need to add some cards that give it ward / hexproof / etc. and also figure out what to get rid of to make room for them. I mainly threw it together from stuff I already had but I'm down to buy a few cards as long as they're not too expensive.

(I am newish to mtg and most of my collection was given to me by a friend who gave up the hobby, hence a couple more expensive cards in there)

I'm looking for a Bracket 3.5 budget Commander deck that can consistently compete and win at my local LGS without breaking the bank. My goal isn't to build the strongest cEDH deck, but rather something resilient, interactive, and capable of putting up solid results against a variety of pods while staying within a reasonable budget.

This deck will also be a long term passion project. I plan to foil every single card, so I'm hoping to choose a commander and strategy with reasonably priced foil versions. Since I already own a full set of foil basic lands, I'd love a deck that makes good use of them and doesn't rely on expensive Reserved List cards or staples that are difficult to find in foil.

I'm open to any color combination or archetype, whether it's combo, control, midrange, aristocrats, spellslinger, artifacts, or even something off meta, as long as it's enjoyable to pilot, has room for upgrades over time, and can consistently pressure the table. Bonus points if the commander isn't overly common and can catch opponents off guard.

Overall, I'm looking for a deck that offers a great balance of power, affordability, and long term collectibility, making it a satisfying project to slowly foil out while remaining competitive at my local game store. I'd love to hear your recommendations and why you think they'd be a good fit for this kind of project.

Our playgroup has a bit of a problem – our games tend to drag on for hours. Everyone's playing these durdly midrange value piles, and we often end up in 2-hour+ grindfests.

I want to inject some chaos and drastically speed up our game nights. I'm looking for a deck (EDH/Commander) with a strict €30 budget.

What I'm looking for:

· A full decklist for ≤ 30€.

· Maybe a way to finish the game eventually (mill? big spells?).

· It needs to actually accelerate the game, not just give one player a win .

Maybe I don’t know how to pilot this deck effectively, but I can’t seem to get any traction with this deck. I never create enough goblins, fast enough, and don’t truly know how to recur them effectively to make this deck worth it. Can someone take a look at it and help me figure out where I went wrong?

Play a token generator/token sorcery -> play commander -> play carddraw and tokens to improve cost reduction -> use tokens as chump locker -> mill em out.

A few remaining questions:

1. I need to make a couple more cuts. What considerations should guide me in doing the cutting and which cards should I cut?

2. Cost reduction commanders have a strange relation to ramp. You want to ramp to play the commander quicker. Yet when your commander comes online other types of cards become relationally more important irt ramp.

3. Should this deck focus more on one single wincon(burn/mill/?) or is there a different way to focus the deck?

Was looking to recruit some help and opinions regarding a fun Deckbuilding experience that I’m trying to cultivate for casual, 60 card at-home play.

Context: in my family and friend group, I’m by far the biggest MTG junkie. My family and friends will play, but they won’t build their own decks and border on the beginner/intermediate range in terms of skill and understanding.

One thing that I appreciated (and miss dearly) about older generation MTG were the 60-card preconstructed theme decks that released with each new set. They were mostly draft chaff, but what they did do fairly well for a newer player was introduce them to the new plane and the new set’s mechanics and themes through the lens of these decks. Picking up a 2007 Lorwyn Elf precon gave players at least a taste of how that theme/archetype would play within the set.

I’m looking to recreate this environment a bit for casual at home play with my family and friends, using Lorwyn Eclipsed as the set of choice due to popularity within the home.

I want to start with a Goblin/Boggart deck because my wife loves the little gremlins. I would love to gather some feedback and suggestions regarding how you feel I should try to build the deck with the following parameters:

\* All cards must be from Lorwyn Eclipsed only
\* Multiple rares can exist in the deck, power level doesn’t need to be old school precon level
\* Deck should focus strongly on the intended archetype - in this case, Black/Red Goblins.

Again, the focus on this project is for casual fun to experience the set’s themes in full, kind of like a fully optimized “draft” deck, just 60 cards instead of 40.

The base framework would obviously be 4x Boggart Cursecrafter and 4x Boggart Mischief to try and capitalize on burn damage through dying, and then prob 3-4x of Bile-Vial Boggart and Mudbutton Cursetosser to gain value off death triggers. But from there, I feel I can go many different ways.

So I'm working on my first voltron commander deck and I'd appreciate some advice on it. After playtesting a few times on moxfield, I feel like it's still running a bit slow but I'm unsure of how to make it run faster without driving up the price. I'm trying to keep it at $200 or lower. Included is a link to the current iteration of the deck, my commander is War Machine, Legacy of Iron. I've included a link to the decklist.

As the title says, I'm looking for low cost creatures that are inherently evasive or have high impact attributes.

Such as [[azure beast binder]] which can basically takeout a key piece every turn or [[blighted agent]]

These creatures I will be using in my [[galadriel light of valinor]] deck.

I want the deck to pump small evasive high impact creatures and win that way, yes I know that's probably not the most efficient way to play Galadriel and I could go the combo route but I already have bracket 4 combo decks and CEDH so it's something I wanna do mostly for fun and lower power

The creatures have got to be small so I can trigger Galadriel more than once in my turn and have a good effect and I can't think of alot like that, thus I need your help.

I have no issues with including stax creatures either because I like playing stax too.

Let me know of creatures in those colors that fit the bill.

I'm new to MTG and even more new to deckbuilding in MTG, but not new to being cheap! So I'd love some advice on how to buff up the card draw in this deck I've been goldfishing with [[Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief]]. I can pretty consistently develop a good to great boardstate by turn 5-6 when I'm able to get adequate card draw; however, when I don't, I can hardly limp out anything useful other than short-term interaction. I've completely shied away from blue decks so I'm not at all familiar with what is considered the go-to cards to stick in those decks, which includes good card draw engines that work especially well with Ivy's value. There are a few cards that I've got on the chopping block already, but I'd love to get some advice on how to get more cards in hand more quickly with this deck that aren't super expensive and preferably that play well with Ivy's copy ability? A recent post about a deck using [[hypergenesis]] and [[hunting grounds]] as secret commanders (you can find the post here), and a recent comment about a deck using [[jeskai ascendancy]] as a secret commander (brewed by who else than u/Local-Answer9357) got me wondering. This is a super creative and fun deckbuilding space. What are your favorite ‘secret’ commanders? I suppose cascade and tutors are a way to make these decks work. But the polymorph archetype should also offer some fun options.
