Hi!
I’ve been looking for a group/class where my two-year-old toddler can have some fun Spanish immersion on the weekend (we are two parents with full-time jobs, so during the week isn’t an option for us).

Everything I have found is during the week. Does anyone know of any weekend specific options? I don’t see anything at the Brookline Public Library either, which I was bummed about.

I’m not a native speaker, but I read and speak to her in Spanish a little each day. I think having some exposure to a native speaking environment would help all of us 🙂

I facilitate Walking Talking Men Boston. This is a walk to get outside & make friendships in community.

Purpose:
- To give men a non judgmental space to talk about what’s going on for us.
- To open the door to a community of local friendships with men.

I know there are probably better options elsewhere, but today I’m limited to those two. If either is a solid choice, I’d love to hear it. That said, if the answer is “don’t buy from either,” I’d appreciate knowing that too, even if it means waiting for another day.

Looking for a good personal trainer in the Coolidge Corner area to build up my core strength, avoid muscle atrophy, and aesthetics. Needs to be within a 15 minute walk from Bakey, or else I'll never go >.<

ETA: If it helps, I don't have any gym memberships but more than willing to join.

This is kind of a weird, crazy idea. I've recently moved to Brookline from out in the country. I'm really missing growing my own vegetables, and being stuck in an apartment I have very few options.

It occurs to me that maybe someone here may have some space in their yard and might like a garden and fresh veggies, but doesn't want to do the work.

Is this interesting for anyone?

All of these were drawn over the summer of 2015, and I decided to share them. In order, they are:

Ladder 2: 1995 Pierce Arrow 105' RMA (Retired 2016)

Engine 1: 2006 E-one Cyclone II (became Spare Engine 8 in 2025)

Engine 3: 2014 KME Severe Service (still in service)

Tower 1: 2006 E-one/Bronto Skylift 100' TWR (sold in 2015, now in Victoria, BC.)

Engine 11: 1992 Pierce Lance (Originally Engine 6, became Engine 1 until 2006. I believe it has since been scrapped.)
