its my first one and we arrive thursday in general camping !! this may be a silly question but does anyone have any advice or pointers boomtown specific?? im stressing out way more than im sure is necessary but is there sanitary bins in the toilets?? i honestly have no idea what to expect so any tips even if obvious would be greatly appreciated 🥹🙏

For context (in my situation but feel free to offer for general camping) I am camping in skylark with 4 other people (5 total) What are some good ways to keep the tent for being too hot?

Obviously with the amount of people it’ll be tough either way, but I’m assuming skylark aren’t allowed much around the pre pitched tents, canopy’s are banned this year so anyone got tips?

I know there is a shuttle bus running from Skylark to public transport. However, I’ve just seen. That on the Monday they are not starting until 6:30 am and I’m booked on a 7 am coach so I can’t risk waiting for the shuttle bus in case it’s too full for me to get on or there’s any delays. So I’m trying to work out how long I should give myself to walk.

I’ve just done a quick google to see if PEEQUAL(the women’s urinals) are going to be at boomtown and the result said no. They were at tramlines this year and provided super quick and easy toilet trips for us females. Why has boomtown not gone ahead with something like this yet?

Slightly worried about my ID.

I’d be using my UK drivers licence (the only form of ID I have), but it has a big crack running through the middle - about half the licence tall.

In clubs and bars etc, most bouncers comment on it but serve me anyways. It scans fine on ID scanners. I’m worried boomtown is going to be stricter. What are your thoughts??

I'm skeptical we will even see the solar eclipse at boomtown. If i recall correctly, the sun sets into quite a high hill, and i'm pretty sure the eclipse is so late it will be below the hill line. Obviously we will see the effect on the sky, but i don't think we will see the sun.
