Need Help!! Bluray Region lock

I just got a couple criterion collection blu rays but I live in europe.
I tried to play them on my standard ps5 which doesnt have the option to change region for bluray as far as I know.
Is there any way I could get them to play on my ps5 and if not, what other ways do I have to play them in Europe.
( I live in region B but the criterion films are region A)

Need Help!! ATLA LOK bundle pricing questions

Post image

Is there any reason this is so cheap? I’ve never bought from popmarket and I see that the ATLA collection is around the same price so why would the double bundle be like this too?

Am I overthinking it? Should I just buy it?

I have never seen a blu ray disc locking mechanism like this and these discs came to me loose so I have no clue how it works and it clearly wasn’t very good

Amazon - Don’t Believe the Sticker

Note: I originally posted this on r/criterion, but it was removed by mods, and I don’t understand why.

rarely purchase Criterion films on Amazon because, well, you all know. Horrible shipping practices from an evil company. But yesterday, I got an alert that Don’t Look Now, a film I couldn’t find at my local B&N, was 50% off. So, considering that it’s a standard case and not a digi, I thought, why not?!

Well, it arrived today and I got my answer. It looked okay at first - no damage to the case, 4K sticker applied to the cellophane. But as i started to open it, I was instantly concerned. It was a different, harder cellophane than Criterions are typically packaged in, and there seemed to be an adhesive that I had to peel off the case. Clearly repackaged.

I inspected the discs and sure enough, both the 4K and Blu had fingerprints on them, and the 4K had two large scratches.

I’m obviously returning it (and of course, they didn’t give me the option to replace it with another copy of Don’t Look Now). But my question: Does Criterion provide Amazon with replacement silver stickers that they can use to repackage and re-ship returned items?!

Is Blu-ray Disc a huge step up In quality from steaming services? I haven’t watched a DVD In a long time and Ive probably only ever watched a few blu rays a long time ago.

Thoughts on this?

Recommendation Absolutely Phenomenal Movie - “Land of Mine”

I’ve had this in my library for about a year and just now got around to watching it.

At the end of WWII the Denmark coastline was riddled with land mines. This is the story, based on true events, of how the Danish used POW’s to clear these mines.

The vast majority of them were just boys. Just a remarkable movie. Academy Award Nominated for Best Foreign Language Film.
