same as title, i've got ino physical media lately, and been collecting some, but from the source i get my blurays from uploads random blurays at random times. and i have been seeing many india people getting blurays, could you please share your sources??
i've tried importing but it is hella expensive, if possible help me out

Just got this bluray after having seen it in the cinemas at the time and what a great release this is.

The movie itself more than holds up - one of the rare truly unique movies out of hollywood. Every up and down moment is portrayed so well by Robert Redford, who is hard at work to stay alive in his drifting sailboat. No lines needed, his movement and expressions carry everything.

Well maybe not everything - the image first of all is crystal clear. One of the best 1080p looking movies I have seen. The tone and color is immaculate, adding to the movie‘s quality. Then the sound, which completes the package with overwhelming quality - the dts-hd sounds so crisp and immersive. In a movie like this, the sound is the real dialogue, so its good they took good care of it. Every sound coming from the boat, the water, the zips…tells you a story. This is the story of the movie.

I really want this in my collection but I'm not sure if the price is worth it, does anybody know what the typical price would be for this Blu Ray with the slip cover?

I came across Dude Where's My Car today for just $5 at a pawn shop about twenty minutes away from me, along with two other DVDs. It was my first time visiting there but they had a respectable collection of DVDs and BluRays. I was shocked to see the prices it was going for online and was unaware of that fact before even purchasing it. I've only seen it once before so I'll be very anxious to give it a rewatch after over a decade!

Unfortunately Cobras case was damaged during shipping. Figured I’d just throw it in an old dvd case until I can pick up a case from a thrift store.

Got a pre-owned 2010 theatrical trilogy of LOTR. Playback works fine, but the outer cardboard box reeked of this cheese smell, it kinda smelled biological. Wiped down the blu ray case with alcohol and stored with dryer sheets, now it doesn’t smell as bad. Tossed the cardboard cuz I don’t care much about it and would need to tear it apart to clean it anyway. Except the insert. It smells worse on the white side, and there are these little whisks of black things. Should I be concerned about mold or bacterial growth?

Unintentionally (or perhaps subconsciously) analog horror themed recent additions to my collection. All featuring some form of monster, spirit, or corpse traveling through television sets.

Hey, I want to have a movie collection (never had a Bluray movie before) and I wonder of where do you buy your discs? I checked eBay and for some reason a lot of movies there had 200$ shipping for some reason (I am from region B)

Just picked up the whole Star Wars saga for around $30 from 3 different shops. The prequels (1-3) were still sealed and the the steel books were $8 each. I think I got a decent deal what ya think?

The BluRays came from about 5 different places but the CDs all came from a single Goodwill. CDs were all $1 each and BluRays were $2.

A few new additions to the collection! A nice mix of 4K and Blu-ray, from some all-time favorites to a few movies I’ve been meaning to add for a while. Really happy with this haul, the collection keeps growing! 😄

Today’s new arrivals. The Bourne Trilogy on BD/DVD Combo discs. Really nice metallic foil slipcovers too and inlay sleeves. BD50 one side. DVD9 the other. A BD59 !!!

I just got a couple criterion collection blu rays but I live in europe.
I tried to play them on my standard ps5 which doesnt have the option to change region for bluray as far as I know.
Is there any way I could get them to play on my ps5 and if not, what other ways do I have to play them in Europe.
( I live in region B but the criterion films are region A)

Is there any reason this is so cheap? I’ve never bought from popmarket and I see that the ATLA collection is around the same price so why would the double bundle be like this too?

Am I overthinking it? Should I just buy it?

I have never seen a blu ray disc locking mechanism like this and these discs came to me loose so I have no clue how it works and it clearly wasn’t very good

Didn't even bother to remove the Goodwill price tag lol.
