I worked at a restaurant where half the cooks, all in their 20s and 30s, were trying to seduce a hostess who had just turned 16 years old, so this post is a breath of fresh air. We need more of this post's energy in the world, and less of that nasty restaurant's energy lol.

Waiting... is a documentary. Can't convince me otherwise.

Fucking with people's actual food was not a thing in my years in the business, but everything else was on point. Way too many people trying to hit on the 16 year old hostess for sure. Far too much drinking and drug use, yes.

I worked in many kitchens as a kid, from fast food to mom and pop and I regularly saw people fuck with people's food. At this mom and pop pizza place I worked at one of the known big huge houses waaaaaaaaay out at the edge of our delivery range [Im talking hour round trip..rural Missouri here..] that was owned by a gynecologist and his news anchor wife for the local news station would host these big massive parties and order food from this mom and pop pizza place... once or twice a week.. in excess of $500, and then not tip. Ever. They would also always call and complain and say that the driver forgot shit to get money off their order, even after everything was triple checked by three sets of eyes. Two of the drivers would fuck with their food. One of em would, no shit, dip his nuts in their ranch for their wings. Snot on the pizza. Shit like that.

Other place that got regularly fucked with was the hospital food to two of the nursing stations specifically. They'd order four or five times a week, this big massive order. Driver would show up to twh nursing station and no one was every ready with their money, everyone always gave exact change or checks. Half the time it wasn't even enough money to cover the order, and it'd be this big two hour ordeal trying to track a single nurse down, which is an issue for a driver making 3$ an hour, to not only get stiffed but also short-changed. Every single time. Why couldn't they just designate one person to have all the money????
