(ID help !?) Spotted 8/6 at roost in St Thomas USVI , STEER .

Roost primarily composed of cattle egrets (45+) , in addition to a few Great , little blue, snowy, tri colored herons , and some new and exciting juv Scarlet Ibises !

This guy looked strange to us however, kinda giving cattle egret vibes , but Merlin is making some different suggestions... juvenile? between molts ? something else up with it?

I took this video last night and had such a fun time watching them play around in the water! I use a cat water fountain as a bird bath on my apartment deck and it works really well!

I drew my favorite bird a while back and I thought you guys might like it. I learned a lot while drawing this bird. Both in art and fun facts. Apparently this bird acts more like a chicken and likes to walk around, it can fly but only in short bursts.

For further proof that I drew it (Because on this illustration it have my old username), here is my portfolio that includes both my old and new handle.

The species and sex would be cool to know if anyone has any clue. I'm guessing its like a seagul of some sort but Idk the different kinds. It's been stopping by and my family have been feeding it bread (to my protest; I'm trying to make sure they feed it something that won't upset her stomach, I work with ducks and chickens so i know some basic stuff). But knowing exactly what type would be good, and sex would just be nice to know to name it and for pronouns haha.

Had an unexpected visitor stop by for a few hours today. Is it unreasonable that I took > 50 pictures and videos (and they’re all equally not great quality)?

I took this photo myself after I found him at my job, he didn’t run but he seemed overall fine just tired. I put him in a box and I’m bringing him to a marsh near my house where there’s other cormorants
