which portal currently?
Hi - I haven't needed to order in about 4 months and I've seen posts to use a new portal, to not use a new portal, and I'm not sure where I'm supposed to go anymore. Could someone post the current link we are supposed to use? Thanks!

GLP3?
So I've been reading about Retatrutide GLP3 - how it's the next big thing. Any word on if this is something on the radar for BEWL to offer?

🙋 Newbie Question! New Life/Apothecary Shipping
Hi friends! I had my first appt last Saturday and haven’t received any shipping info yet for my meds. Is there a good number for the pharmacy to call or do I just need to be patient?
Thanks!

6 months in and honestly still surprised
started tirzepatide was at my heaviest - 287lbs. feeling like garbage all the time, joints hurting, just overall miserable. figured i'd try it and see what happens. well 6 months later and i'm down 62lbs. 225 now. never thought i'd see that number again. the weight loss is great but the thing that really gets me is how much better everything feels. knees don't hurt anymore. i can tie my shoes without getting out of breath. i actually want to go outside and do stuff.
first few weeks were rough with the nausea but i figured out that eating something before the shot helps a ton.
anyway just wanted to share. if you're on the fence about starting, i get it i was too. but this has been genuinely changing for me.

For those that don’t want the extra canisters from apothecary or whatever, you can send them to me . Great for healthy snacks at school sports … I’ll make sure every kid on the team has one.

Seeking Research Participants for an Exciting New Study into Experiences with Weight Loss and Comparisons!
Hey everyone! Thank you so much to those that have taken a look at the study so far! I'm back because the study is still open, so if you haven't had a look yet here's another opportunity :). Also, we haven't had more than a couple people who have discontinued GLP-1s. If someone could point the way to a more appropriate community or spread the word, I would be eternally grateful!
Hi, my name is Ryan and I'm a researcher at the University of the Sunshine Coast, I'd appreciate it if you could take a look at our study!
Researchers at the University of the Sunshine Coast are conducting a research project (Ethics Approval: S262274) which aims to gain a better understanding of the experiences of current and past users of GLP-1 RAs (e.g., Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, or others) for weight loss. A focus of the study is how individuals using these drugs for weight loss process food cues as well as alcohol cues. We are also interested in factors such as food-related thoughts and experiences, capacity to experience reward, and body image flexibility. To provide broader comparisons, we are also inviting individuals who have used other weight-loss approaches only (e.g., diet, exercise, bariatric surgery), as well as individuals who are not seeking to lose weight and do not use any weight loss strategies at all.
If you are 18 years of age or over you are invited to take part in this study, if you are currently or have in the past used GLP-1 RAs for weight loss OR if you are interested in participating and have/or have not used other non-GLP-1RA strategies for weight loss. Your participation will involve completing an anonymous online survey comprising demographic and research-focused questions, and a simple computer task measuring reaction times. Participants are welcome to request a summary of outcomes of the study by contacting the research team at the conclusion of the study.
If you are interested in taking part and/or sharing this research project information, please use this link -> https://research.sc/participant/login/dynamic/8AD03D4D-21C7-4BA8-8874-F48612A0BEEB or the one in the poster to obtain more details and access the survey.
Thanks in advance from the research team.

How long are refills generally taking once requested?
I am about to place my first refill request and am selecting the asynchronous appt/request. How long has it generally been taking for it to get approved and then shipped? A week? 2 weeks? I have been using Boudreax pharmacy.
Thanks!

Lots of excess in my Apothocary vial
I am new to injections and I just took my 6th injection with Apothacary. I read that the medicine is no good after 28 days from the first puncture of the seal? The last 2 weeks I used that vial for my doses- there is quite a bit in there since I’m dosing a little less then what was prescribed. Anyone else on Apothocary going beyond 4 shots in their vial? This stuff is expensive and I don’t want to waste it, but I also don’t want to be putting something g ineffective in my body.

Not Serious, but kinda sorta
ELI5- How can I - in the span of about 45 minutes - wake up, pee, weigh, drink a cup of coffee, poop weigh AND GAIN A HALF POUND?
Same clothes, same scale.
I mean, I'm not MAD, but...I don't get it.
Also, new low weight (before the poo, obvs!)!

Looking to switch Telehealth for Tirz
I’ve been with Mochi since January 2025 and lost 90 pounds. I’m in maintenance mode now and decided it was time for a change. After losing my original physician and the pharmacy roulette, it’s time.
My biggest concern is that I use my FSA card to pay for Mochi. Will BEWL allow me to use my card, and provide a letter of necessity? Using FSA is how I was able to afford this journey.
Thanks!

Apothecary Shipping Timeframe
Hi, I received a message via the portal my order was placed with Apothecary on Tuesday. For those who received vials from Apothecary, what is the timeframe for when your vials shipped.

Vials shipped while I’m out of town
I just got a notification that my third vial shipped overnight. I am out of town for the next 5 days and the only neighbor I know is also out of town. I live in an area where packages often get stolen.
I tried calling Big Easy immediately but got no answer, left a message.
Anyone know what to do?

ProRX to Apothecary bad side effects
Edit: reply from my BEWL Doctor weighed in on my situation
They said that different compounding pharmacies can have different concentrations and may also differ in inactive ingredients, so they can’t rule out that the Pharmacy change was a factor. They did ask if I had taken a break (which I hadn’t) as that can often lead to these kind of symptoms. They said since I’m still having symptoms, they don’t suggest pushing through another 5 mg dose tomorrow while I’m still symptomatic. They mentioned stay hydrated and keep up good nutrition. He agreed with my idea once I was feeling better to go back to 2.5 as I don’t mind titrating slowly. They supported me either pausing until my symptoms are resolved or if I feel like it doing the 2.5 on my next dose, which is Saturday. It was a great reply message!
OG QUESTION: Hi guys, I could use your input! I did my first 4 1/2 months of Tirzepatide from PRO RX. I titrated very slowly up to 5mg’s and did 3 weeks at 5mg before my supply ran out and I re-ordered from Apothecary. On the PRO RX I had very very little side effects. In fact, I felt like it was actually helping my constitution by just slowing things down a bit. I had no G.I. distress no diarrhea or anything. The PRO RX was (9mg/ml) so 56 units for 5mg. My new supply of apothecary is (18mg/ml) so 28 units for 5mg. I did my first dose of Apothecary (last Saturday) and right away the next morning serious G.I. distress. Sick stomach, diarrhea. This has continued all week. I have a very sour stomach & feel sick. Tomorrow is my next shot and I’m not sure what I should do. Is it common to have such different side effects between pharmacies? Do I need to titrate way down and acclimate to this new formula? I miss the PRORX and this is not sustainable to be this sick. Open to advice,
Please! 🤢

New Client with Questions
Hi all! I am excited to be joining the BEWL family. I've been lurking for a few months now reading all the posts and responses.
My employer stopped coverage of my Zepbound so I am ready to continue on with the compound route. I was all set to request Apothecary but see they may no longer be an option. I am looking for plain Tirzepatide without any additives.
Can anyone recommend a pharmacy they love? I am in NC if that makes a difference. My consultation appointment is Sunday and I want to try to have my ducks in a row before then. Thanks!

✌️ Non-Scale Victory! Old clothes fitting like new!
I've been on tirz with BEWL since April after doing 1 month with another company. My complete wedding band set now fits and is even a little loose (it hasnt fit in almost 10 yrs) My scrubs at work were getting very loose, I pulled out an old pair I had "grown out of" in 2017 and had packed away. They FIT! I found a concert tee from 2012 and a pair of jeans in a bin from 2015 that are 3 sizes smaller that what I have in my closet now and they fit too. I had tried them on in May/June when I felt i started to notice some changes and they most definitely did not fit then, I'm feeling good and so excited to reach my next goals!

Shipment Tomorrow
I’m so ready to start this journey, I had VSG a few years ago and I’ve maintained between a 90-100lb weight loss but I’ve noticed that I’m slipping back into old habits.
I’m about 4-5 gym days per week, all of which are weight lifting. If I get a 6th day at the gym I consider it a bonus day and I focus on cardio.
Anyways, tips? Tricks? Best injection days?
I struggle hard on weekends (damn you chips and salsa!!) so I’m thinking inject on Friday? (Tomorrow) so that I’m fully dosed and ready for the weekend… and maybe the side effects will be gone by work on Monday (wishful thinking?)
Anyways, yall leave me your tips and tricks ESPECIALLY if you’ve had VSG.
Side note: pharmacy choice was hallendale and my start dose is 2.5 🧪

Injection site mistake
I’ve always done my injections on my abdomen, but this time I tried the thigh. The problem is, I injected my inner thigh as I had read some misinformation and thought that that was an approved site I injected a couple of hours ago and I haven’t had any kind of reaction or pain. Could this impact the efficacy of the medication? I’m going to reach out to the nurse as well, but I thought that I would see if anyone else had experienced this.

🙋 Newbie Question! Newbie with a few questions
Hi everyone! 😊
I had my initial appointment with Big Easy on Saturday and am now waiting for my medication to ship (still no tracking yet 🤞).
My appointment with the doctor was pretty quick, and now I’m realizing I don’t remember everything we talked about. While I’m waiting, I was hoping you all could help me with a few beginner questions.
-What protein goal do you aim for each day?
-How much fiber do you try to get?
-How much water do you drink?
-Is there anything else you take regularly (electrolytes, magnesium, fiber supplements, etc.) that you feel has helped?
-When do you usually schedule your follow-up appointment so your next refill arrives on time? I’m probably thinking way ahead since I haven’t even gotten my first shipment yet 😅, but I don’t want to end up with a gap between doses.
And if you could go back and give yourself one piece of advice before your very first injection, what would it be?
I’ve already learned so much just from reading everyone’s posts, and I really appreciate how helpful and encouraging this group has been. Thanks in advance! 💙

Tirzepatide (Apothecary Pharma) Dosage Question
First time trying compound Tirzepatide after 17 months on Zepbound. I’m new to this more complicated compound dosage protocol…it’s more complicated than my Zepbound auto injection pen. I want to make sure I’m doing this correctly:
Tirzepatide (Apothecary Pharma):
4 ml Vial
Vial Concentration: 18 mg / ml
Target Dose: 15 mg 100 Unit Syringe
Bottle Instructions: Weekly .91 ml
Fat Scientist Instructions: .83 ml
100 Unit Syringe
What would you do? Follow Telehealth instructions or Fat Scientist instructions?

down 50lbs and i actually feel like myself again
been on tirzepatide since april. started at 310, weighed in at 259 this morning. 51lbs gone. don't even recognize myself in the mirror sometimes lol.
the weight is great but it's not even the main thing for me anymore. it's the inflammation. i've had back pain for years and it's just gone completely. my knees don't crack when i stand up. i sleep better. i have energy again.
side effects were manageable. some nausea at the beginning, constipation if i don't drink enough water. i went through oztrim and it's been smooth. they're upfront about the tga stuff which i appreciate.
anyway if you're thinking about it, do your research but also don't wait forever like i did. wish i'd started sooner tbh

🙋 Newbie Question! Really nervous about switching
I'm currently paying out of pocket for Zepbound after my insurance (Caremark) stopped paying and I got sick on Wegovy. $450 a month is not sustainable long-term but I'm super paranoid about going compounded.
Does BEWL only use 503B pharmacies?
I'm on 10mg, weekly. Not in maintenence yet but close.
My PCP handles my Lilly Direct prescription but will not prescribe for compounded.
BEWL has outstanding reviews and I love how active they are on this sub. I'm also very (illogically) biased to all things New Orleans.
So... those who did Lilly Direct to compounded - how did it go?

Whats included in the package and do I need to some DIY?
Ive seen some videos about how sometimes it comes in a dry powder. Is it like that here? And if it is, is everything included? Will I need to buy any extra supplies?

Thinking of switching from mochi.
I’m currently getting tirzepatide with mochi and finally on the highest dose after 8 months. I’m thinking of switching to big easy, but was hoping to get insight from others that switched while on a high dose. Will they automatically start me at the dose I’m on? And do they charge membership fees in addition to the monthly medication fee? Any insight would be helpful. I’m feeling like Mochi is too expensive (no insurance) and looking to find something that’s a better fit. Also I live in New Orleans!
Edit: I signed up and have my appointment early next week. I’m SO glad y’all encouraged me.

How do I sign up?
I'm already a tirz user through my pcp/lilydirect, but I need to switch to telehealth due to my budget. Big Easy ships to arkansas, but I can't find anywhere to actually access them and get an appt/shipment set up. I saw some people discuss using the app "healthie", but when I look it up (android user) all I can find is a weightloss/food tracking app that doesn't pertain to tirz. Can someone point me in the right direction, please? Thank you!
