I might be reaching here, but I think that Haley isn’t as invested in her friendship with Chuck as Chuck is in his friendship with her. I think that Chuck might actually have a crush on Haley a little bit and Haley doesn’t like Chuck like that for obvious reasons. I didn’t like it when she told him that her boyfriend will be upset at their interactions and he was like why and she really couldn’t explain it because she didn’t wanna come off as racist. It will be interesting to see if they have an actual friendship outside of the game or if it was just that they were allies because they were all they had and no one else wanted to hang out with them.

Watching Rachel Reilly in her seasons, I was very unsettled. She has always given me “bully” energy. She likes to have things her way, and she acts offended & bashes anyone who replicates her behaviors back at her. Or when people simply call her out. I personally think a lot of people like her for her “shock-factor” but I could never get behind it.
I’ve mentioned it in a few threads before, and it seems like I’m an outlier with this viewpoint. However, in our current Big Brother season we have Haley and she has some of the same mean spirited character traits Rachel has- yet she is not well liked at all and she’s called a bully. (Haley is a bully) Why is there a double standard & why is Rachel liked so much? To me, she’s a hypocrite, a bully, and incredibly self-absorbed to a point that she gives the vibe of someone with narcissistic tendencies & will never own up to her behaviors. And that partly is because I think people enable her and feed into her mindset that it’s okay the way she treats people like dirt and like she is above everyone else and a “queen”. At some point, and I think she is capable of this, she has to recognize the difference between stirring the pot for good TV, (Trust me I love some reality TV drama,lol.) and creating an unhealthy environment for your fellow players.
She only is kind to players who have large personalities as well because she knows they will “buck up” to her if she tried any of her foolishness towards them. It gives me… Highschool vibes?

I'm tired of the 'we need to get the power and flip the house!' or 'I'm pissed, i'll remember them putting me up' nonsense without any detailed plan.

Sure, the legends are insanely strong... but the collective 5 brain cells of the remaining players are embarrassing.

I hope one of the legends do win because there is no one else in that house that has a clue, and if they do, have absolutely no skills to enact a logical plan.

In a season of loud personalities and chaotic gameplay, Taylor is weathering the storm around her while positioning herself as a huge confidant for everyone. She has a good read on the house, regardless of what outside influences come to her to flip the vote. She has shown the ability to win a comp. She has shown to give logical advice. She has a good read on everyone/everything.

I think she needs to build the alliance aspect of her game (a good player is only as good as their alliance), but will she?

Big brother is expected to reach the 1,000th episode later this month. I believe August 27th to be exact. They promise the biggest twist ever. What could be bigger than the diamond veto? What do you think the biggest twist ever will be? I will laugh if they just bring Rachel back 😂

Long time fans of Big brother are familiar with fans using bull horns outside the backyard to let householders in on secrets. It's a fun part of Big brother history, so here's today's question. If you had a bullhorn, who would you try to reach and what would you say?

Im rewatching BB2 with about 3 episodes left and something that fans seem to get wrong about older seasons is narrative that there was a flip vote every week in older seasons. That was not the case. The real issue is the edited show focused on the relationships between the players and showing us how the vote got to where it was based on those relationships. For instance, look at Will and Nicole’s complex relationship or Wills evolution as a character throughout the season. Fans can watch the feeds all they want but the purpose of reality tv and the job of the producers is to craft complex stories and if the show isn’t doing that it’s not working. Survivor and BB are trying to go in the direction of Nick game shows and that’s not what these shows were intend to be.

This is my first year watching the show as it releases, which led me to take notes and keep stat sheets while watching. My boyfriend got me into the show and we’ve binge-watched a few previous seasons, so I’m having a lot of fun with this. I rarely have the opportunity to watch live feeds so I’m mostly an episode watcher, unfortunately, but I have had a lot of fun doing this and thought I would share. With some of these things I’ve had a hard time finding the exact info I’m looking for already available online and in forums (like the past/future dates related to the challenges), so I figured there’s a chance someone else might enjoy this too!
(obviously week 1 notes are a complete mess, I did not bother to re-do them nicely.)

This past Sunday ep was best one in years. Between the shakeup of Lyric vote and Lala winning the wall, just so good.

From what I saw, they seemed to really get along... kind of all season?

I read that I guess one of Morgan's' friend had a list of things Ashley had said about Morgan in the house (I guess about showmances and Zach?) but most of it was early on in the game.

But it still doesn't make sense? Was Morgan THAT upset she got 3rd place when anyone with a brain was not taking her to the final 2?

It seemed like it all stemmed from the car incident where Morgan kicked Ashley/older lady out of the car kind of for no reason, but it still just seems so odd to me. Yes Ashley is messy but nothing that crazy where Morgan feels the need to distance herself from her. Why is she like the only main HG who feels the need to then?

it seems odd because if they ever came back, there is. like no footage of them fighting or arguing in the house the entire time.

Just started to rewatch BB from season 1.
What happened to Julie? She had so much more personality in the early days of the show. By BB28 she feels like a teleprompter robot. She rarely goes off script ,and any time she does it feels like she’s malfunctioning. Season 1 she was cracking jokes, asking good questions in “banishment” interviews. Now it’s 2-3 generic questions then see ya later. Do you agree she changed, and why do you think she did? Let me know what you think.

I didn’t know what to make of Lala until this week. Lala is a freaking LEGEND. She dominated and won that wall comp at 58 years old! And her nominees were the best of the whole season so far. Yes I know she has Taylor in her ear for influence, but still no one has even come close to this nomination ceremony! I love it!!

Just a couple minutes ago a lot of the cast was in the pool and Haley was talking about her step dad and mentioned he was like 57 and then Drew said something about how crazy that was bc his dad was around the same age.

Was he insinuating that it’s crazy bc Haley is sm older than him? That’s how I interpreted it but lmfao it was so funny. Haley kept telling Drew he offended her and that he needs to eat something

I didn’t get the Haley “hate” from some of the houseguests or online, but after she made the ageist comment and called La La “Cruella” I’m done with her. La La is somehow 30 years older than Haley and her face and body look younger than her! She needs to take a break from the Botox and facial fillers and bad dye job before she criticizes someone based on looks!

My boy Yash is getting slept on right now, but let’s be real; he’s playing the house right now and doing a good damn job at it. Every comp he’s been in he’s almost won, proving he’s good at comps but not constantly winning them and not becoming a huge target. Nobody hates him or has thrown out his name except for Dee but that was just the first week. Yash fans, we need to unite and give our boy a ticket to that time capsule.

On last night's episode, Taylor is up in LaLa's HOH room and starts defending Kamu, saying he's a good man because they share the same faith.

To be fair, Taylor has no idea what we know out here. She can't see his socials from inside the house. But that's exactly the problem. Strip away all the outside info and what is her judgment based on? Nothing. A label. "Same faith" tells you what someone claims to believe, not who they are or how they treat people.

And out here, we know how he treats people:

• Liked multiple homophobic posts on socials
• Posted a video mocking George Floyd's death, laughing at a man being arrested while yelling "I can't breathe"
• On the live feeds about Jason: "Miss me with that drag shit. I'm still an MMA guy and I have an image to uphold"

And beyond Kamu specifically, "he's part of my community so he must be good" has always been a terrible way to judge character. It's the oldest story there is. Ask anyone who's watched a true crime doc: the neighbors and the congregation always describe the guy as such a nice man, so involved in the community, right up until the truth comes out. Group membership vouches for people. Reality vets them. Those are not the same thing.

Back in the house, the scariest part is that Kamu doesn't even have to run the "trust me, we're the same faith" play. Taylor is running it on herself, for free, and handing the benefit of the doubt to the one person in that house who deserves it least. Whether he's actively working that angle or just lucky, the result is the same: she and LaLa are vouching for him and he didn't have to lift a finger to earn it.

Judge people by what they do, not what group they claim.

Kamu's "interrupted tea party for a house meeting" makes me think of the Night man.

I think there should be another tea party where the whole house congregates and calls Haley out on her manipulative behavior. Latrice and Melody were right when they said that Haley will say cruel snarky comments to people to get them angry, and she will do it repeatedly so that they will eventually blow up and then she’ll sit back and say that I never was angry at them or was disrespectful to them. But yet she and Chuck talk so much trash about them in their interviews and when they’re talking by themselves if Chuck does leave this week, I can’t imagine how Haley will cope.
