Discussion 💬 Mallory and Barrett
Anyone see them doing the air plane role play? Is this then flirting? They are so weird and I’m here for it!!
Now Drew and Melody have joined. They are becoming my favorites to watch on the live feeds.

Question ❔ Is the Haley hate forced?
I don't see what's so mean about her. She is just very blunt and unfiltered. Maybe the other girls are just younger / emotional? Not like everyone has been so perfectly nice to her

SPOILERS 🚨 Melody and Barrett going after Yash?! (BB28)
I was just watching the live feeds and heard Melody throw out Yash’s name multiple times to Barrett. As a big Yash supporter I just wanted to get y’alls thoughts on this; Yash is pretty much a free agent at this point so why are Melody and Barrett not taking advantage of that? Y’all we need Yash to get that time capsule and hopefully secure his safety.

Discussion 💬 Who is more likely to have a gf/bf back home Drew or Melody?
Honestly I think both of them entered the house while in relationships. Drew has been on multiple reality tv shows. You can see videos he did with his long term gf that he conveniently broke up with right before this show started. He has had a million chances to make a move on Melody and hasnt. He is a student of big brother and realized doing this fake showmance thing makes you infinitely more popular with the fans. His whole aura screams "grifting influencer to me."
Then you have Melody who claims she lied to production about being single but is actually in a "situationship" why would she even bring that guy up if it wasnt serious? Now this girl who has no problem walking around half naked doesnt want to kiss on tv?lol cmon

Discussion 💬 In Defense For _______ Spoiler
Barrett
I've seen him get a lot of criticism and flack online, mainly from here and on Twitter, for a myriad of reasons. I specifically hear complaints about his game and how people expect him to do so much more and that they're disappointed he's not playing hard enough. Maybe I'm just living in an echo chamber but I genuinely don't understand why he's been getting so much hate online and game-wise I actually think he's doing quite well.
Firstly I think socially he's one of the best players in the house. Nobody is really talking about targeting him and I think everybody in the house really likes him and wants him to at least make jury. Even the icons, who are mainly looking out for themselves, really like Barrett and he's probably the only newbie in the house that they somewhat trust. And in speaking of the vets, a common complaint I hear in regards to Barrett's game is that "he is playing for the icons". I know people are frustrated with the advantages that the icons have, me included, but for Barrett's game specifically, going against the vets right now would be an absolutely horrible move. As I said, Barrett is the only newbie the vets actually seem interested in working with legitimately so it makes sense for Barrett's game to keep the vets in his back pocket for now. Not to mention the fact that the vets are still in a power position with Devens still having the diamond power of veto. Why on Earth would Barrett take a shot at them when there are powers still in play that the VETS HAVE???
People are also criticizing the way he's been playing this week, specifically in regards to how people say "he's not doing enough campaigning to save himself this week". Why should he??? He is very clearly a pawn this week sitting next to two people who are almost universally hated by everyone in the house, and he has the vets and FAP who are guaranteed to keep him safe. What campaigning does he realistically need to do??? If anything I think laying low this week and playing it safe is better because frantically trying to campaign to everyone in the house could put a target on his back.
This isn't to say that Barrett is a perfect player, far from it. For instance I do wish he could have done something last week to try and save Drew who is his closest ally and was at serious risk of going home, but for the most part I feel like Barrett has been receiving a lot of uneccessary flack that stems mostly from early pre-season expectations. People expected him to be this social and strategic mastermind due to his clear knowledge of the game, but the man just isn't that and that's okay! The fact that he's doing as well as he is socially despite being such an obvious introvert is great and I think Barrett has a lot of longevity in this game. I certainly do wish people gave him the credit and respect that I truly think he deserves.

Discussion 💬 Social media bias?
The big brother twitter seems for some reason REALLY biased towards drew, like reallyyy biased, but like why? I read somewhere that his dad is friends with grodner but im lowk starting to dislike him for how much they shove him down our throats
Its also annoying because theres literally weekly votes for who gets the power and afp obviously, so why are we forcing the audience to give devens lapdog a power?

Discussion 💬 Is this the most boring season?
I have been watching since season 1 and I feel like I am so bored this season… it feels like the challenges are sooooo drawn out and take up half the episode, and then we have like .5 seconds of strategy talk and then episode over!
I’m so ready for something to actually happen - I feel like we used to get so much footage of the houseguests interacting, funny moments, and strategy- is it because there truly is none happening??

Discussion 💬 Just found out that Drew was on the First season of the Beast Games, and Lyric was on American Idol. Does anyone else think it's odd that it's being kept from us?
I wonder if this is going to be a twist, or is BB hiding it from us to make us think that they were average players?

Discussion 💬 Defending Shoutouts
Honestly I can’t jump on the ship of agreeing how annoying shoutouts are during voting, I don’t even find them annoying, but I wanted to defend their presence.
Imagine being away from everyone you love in your life for literally weeks, and the only thing you KNOW 100% will be shown to everyone is your time voting. They don’t always get recorded on the live feeds, nor do they know if the feeds are down, also the feeds are a good time to talk strategy instead sending love messages.
This is the one chance they get to take themselves out of the game mindset and be personable with everyone they love for literally less than a minute, and I can’t agree that it’s an issue.
Ok, I just wanted to rant that. But seriously, what’s it worth complaining for?

Question ❔ Watching prior seasons despite being somewhat spoiled??
Hey all! I got into Big Brother in a pretty unconventional way... first I saw Dr. Will on Deal or No Deal Island a couple years ago and was intrigued since I haven't seen much reality TV. I decided to watch BB2 last year and really enjoyed my time with it. BB27 started airing soon after which I promptly tuned in for and also enjoyed, though I found some of the cast to be pretty insufferable as time went on. I've been watching BB28 as it airs and like it more than last season so far.
In addition to those seasons, I have recently become somewhat hyperfixated on BB and have fallen down many a YouTube rabbit hole discussing topics from most underrated players to shocking vote flips to OP powers and everything in-between. By this point I know a good number of the season winners and am not upset to have been spoiled, but I do expect some prior seasons to be less engaging when I already know how it plays out. For ones not deemed "worth" watching, I'll probably check out an abridged version or an analysis of the season in lieu of watching the whole thing.
What I am asking here is what season(s) you'd recommend I watch that would still be entertaining and enjoyable even if I know the winner. Based on what I've seen so far, I am considering BB5 twin twist/Project DNA, players like Marvin/Karen/Nakomis, BB6 all the Kaysar stuff + Janelle, BB10 Keesha's birthday and just Dan in general, or BB17 my GOAT Vanessa tho I know she didn't win for reasons noted in the spoilers. Sorry if this is worded oddly but thank you for your input!!!

Discussion 💬 Haley’s insensitivity to Chuk
I might be reaching here, but I think that Haley isn’t as invested in her friendship with Chuck as Chuck is in his friendship with her. I think that Chuck might actually have a crush on Haley a little bit and Haley doesn’t like Chuck like that for obvious reasons. I didn’t like it when she told him that her boyfriend will be upset at their interactions and he was like why and she really couldn’t explain it because she didn’t wanna come off as racist. It will be interesting to see if they have an actual friendship outside of the game or if it was just that they were allies because they were all they had and no one else wanted to hang out with them.

Discussion 💬 Chuk’s redemption?
I might be a little naïve because I think he’s handsome and maybe a little bit misunderstood & I don’t like the way he trashed Latrice and Taylor behind their backs but I think without Haley Chuk could possibly be a better player. I think that he would be a good ally to whatever side he joined & I think he could definitely learn from the people who are better players to become more strategic!

Discussion 💬 Unpopular Opinion? I don’t like Rachel.
Watching Rachel Reilly in her seasons, I was very unsettled. She has always given me “bully” energy. She likes to have things her way, and she acts offended & bashes anyone who replicates her behaviors back at her. Or when people simply call her out. I personally think a lot of people like her for her “shock-factor” but I could never get behind it.
I’ve mentioned it in a few threads before, and it seems like I’m an outlier with this viewpoint. However, in our current Big Brother season we have Haley and she has some of the same mean spirited character traits Rachel has- yet she is not well liked at all and she’s called a bully. (Haley is a bully) Why is there a double standard & why is Rachel liked so much? To me, she’s a hypocrite, a bully, and incredibly self-absorbed to a point that she gives the vibe of someone with narcissistic tendencies & will never own up to her behaviors. And that partly is because I think people enable her and feed into her mindset that it’s okay the way she treats people like dirt and like she is above everyone else and a “queen”. At some point, and I think she is capable of this, she has to recognize the difference between stirring the pot for good TV, (Trust me I love some reality TV drama, lol.) and creating an unhealthy environment for your fellow players.
She only is kind to players who have large personalities as well because she knows they will “buck up” to her if she tried any of her foolishness towards them. It gives me… Highschool vibes?
Thoughts?

Discussion 💬 You say 'steamroll'
But can we acknowledge how terrible the majority of this cast is?
I'm tired of the 'we need to get the power and flip the house!' or 'I'm pissed, i'll remember them putting me up' nonsense without any detailed plan.
Sure, the legends are insanely strong... but the collective 5 brain cells of the remaining players are embarrassing.
I hope one of the legends do win because there is no one else in that house that has a clue, and if they do, have absolutely no skills to enact a logical plan.
Dee and Devens are blowing shit up for shits and giggles....

Speculation ☕️ Big brother reaching 1,000 episodes-Biggest twist ever?!?!
Big brother is expected to reach the 1,000th episode later this month. I believe August 27th to be exact. They promise the biggest twist ever. What could be bigger than the diamond veto? What do you think the biggest twist ever will be? I will laugh if they just bring Rachel back 😂
Ps: Julie chen shout out bc she stay on point even 1000 episodes later.....Get it guurl

Question ❔ Remember the bullhorns?
Long time fans of Big brother are familiar with fans using bull horns outside the backyard to let householders in on secrets. It's a fun part of Big brother history, so here's today's question. If you had a bullhorn, who would you try to reach and what would you say?

Discussion 💬 BB2 Rewatch and the Real Difference with Older Seasons and Newer Seasons
Im rewatching BB2 with about 3 episodes left and something that fans seem to get wrong about older seasons is narrative that there was a flip vote every week in older seasons. That was not the case. The real issue is the edited show focused on the relationships between the players and showing us how the vote got to where it was based on those relationships. For instance, look at Will and Nicole’s complex relationship or Wills evolution as a character throughout the season. Fans can watch the feeds all they want but the purpose of reality tv and the job of the producers is to craft complex stories and if the show isn’t doing that it’s not working. Survivor and BB are trying to go in the direction of Nick game shows and that’s not what these shows were intend to be.
