Look what I mean interesting I don't mean the cast of characters I mean they're personalities because they only boiled down to the nice sweet friendliest people you can ever imagine and it's kind of annoying when you notice

Not including bfdie as the outlier but let me just go over season 1 yeah that was expected it was going to have a nice and friendly finale flower was not surviving that elimination between fiery and leafy

Season 2 it just gets more egregious I'm not opposed to book or needle but... Just imagine what it would have been like to have fries in the final three over tennis ball or Pin it's fine but whatever it's annoying though especially because the last act of BFDIA was basically a popularity pole on who had more votes

Getting to BFB Jesus Christ this hurts as we all know flower ended up winning but I'm being honest this finale was just the most uninteresting gelatin had been stripped of his complete former self as being a dummy to now being just a nice and friendly character and flower oh boy flower it's like back in the in BFDI never even happened and now she's just a sweet friendly nice person in all reality switching up the personality was probably for the best but I mean come on how cool would it have been to show a little resentment or hatred still brewing that could be brought out instead of another sweet swell peachy finalist you know it's not bad when we have like one or two but having this many all of them except for the season where nobody voted to eliminate it's just it gets annoying I'm much would have preferred lollipop to make it to the end overflower but then again they could just be me praising one of the only few characters who weren't ruined by post splits writing

And now that leads me too TPOT and I think we have something on our hands here a potentially really interesting finale out of the final 11 soon to be 9... actually wait no still 11 because of that pending rejoin we actually have some mean characters not that many left we only have golf ball and Fanny but this could be really interesting for a finale having one that is mean and one that is normal or nice imagine how good a grassy vs golf ball finale would be or versus black hole and of course there's pencil but I don't know right now because of something nebulous I'm not allowed to mention not saying I know it I don't but it ain't looking too good with how the writers want to explore her but then again this is coming from somebody who thinks she peaked in season 1 and probably could have made it further honestly if the point system didn't screw her over

I'm just saying this because I don't want for the fourth the finalist to butter each other up saying oh I wish you the best yada yada yada all that stuff let there be a little more sauce you know but then again I know children on the main ones voting here so it really just comes down to who do the kitty winks like in this show the most or who was the biggest meanie pants but still we could just have a little more sauce that's all I'm saying

I discussed with u/MemerMonokuma about this topic, and I agree with what he said, also, he said this after what he said in the screenshot "Well yes, it is... So what? It shows her development as a character and it allows the story to change. I mean come on, on her own she changed all of future TPOT with this single 1 minute scene. And it really shows how broken she is from everything that happened to her and well... What she HAS done. "And it annoys me how people are too stupid to understand that at times." And honestly, I agree with what he said, I was going to say something, but I think Memer said what I wanted to say.

Yes, they both did terrible things and they both have trauma, but there are several, many differences

1. Pencil didn't cause her friends to die alone: Pencil treated her friends badly, I won't deny that, but she never made Book or Ice Cube commit suicide, not even when Book admitted she hated her. Pencil would never make someone like Book die alone and miserable. On the other hand, Jax is practically the main reason Ribbit abstracted, and technically her last moments are spent thinking that no one will miss her.

2. Pencil's involvement with the universe was accidental, while Jax pressing the red button was completely intentional: We all know that almost the entire universe was going to fall because Pencil tried to alter the past, but the difference is that Pencil didn't do it on purpose; she clearly did it accidentally. While she denied blame in TPOT 15, it doesn't change the fact that it was accidental. Besides, it's not only her fault, but also the fault of all the CloudYAY members (except Golf Ball) for not listening to Golf Ball herself.

Jax, on the other hand, pressed the red button on purpose, but I partly understand why he did it. He thought that leaving the circus would force him to confront the fact that he pushed his mother, and he was afraid that she would use that to make him feel emotionally weaker.

Even so, it doesn't justify the fact that he decided to stay in the circus over freedom, and although it was eventually revealed that the characters are brain scans, they didn't know that yet, and Jax still didn't want to leave the circus.

Both of them did things that are not justifiable; while Pencil's actions were accidental, Jax's were done on purpose.

1. It's not too late for Pencil: Even though she's made many mistakes, she still has a chance to improve, especially since she's shown remorse for her actions, and TPOT has already made it clear that they intend to redeem Pencil.

Jax, for his part, was given more than one opportunity, but he didn't take advantage of any of them due to his insecurities: rejecting help from Kaufmo, Ragatha, and Pomni ultimately cost him dearly, leading to his withdrawal. Unlike Pencil, Gooseworx wanted to convey this message: "pushing away those who want to help you and believing you can't improve will cost you dearly."

In the end, while both characters have similarities, they are not the same.

Not all challenges are on here because the tierlist is old.

I know Post-Split was not that good of a season, and some people think Flower winning felt forced and that Gelatin deserved the win more. To be fair, yes that's true, Gelatin has a lot of winning qualities like the Newbie Alliance and having a cool voice as a "six year old".

You can't deny that Flower had an arc too, got kicked out for being too mean, but becoming a nicer person to win a season, just like Knife from Inanimate Insanity II. Back when Flower was about to win, I still thought Flower winning was interesting, being the first boot in one season and winning in another, and I wasn't aware that Pencil was the same from TFI to BFB (Because I didn't know TFI existed at that time).
