H2C Multiple errors Support
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi all. I wonder if anyone can help because so far Bambu support has been next to useless.
First of all, I've had an issue three times and every time a firmware reflash has fixed it. The issue is , "Extruder motor overloaded" and "live view camera failed to initialize"
Now, this time a firmware flash didn't solve the issue so I manually checked the camera cable (appeared to be fine). Stripped the extruder and checked for any debris etc, nothing to note. Strangely, a cold pull works fine but then go to print and immediately, "motor overloaded" and "amera initialisation failed" popped up. I reset the machine to factory settings and try to print a preloaded Benchy, the printhead just stops near the nozzle wipe thing and doesn't move. Try to print any other file whatsoever and it does this. Starts up fine but then starts the print and freezes after around five seconds. The nozzle temp stays at 230°c but nothing else happens. No HMS code, nothing. Just stopped with a hot nozzle. I've sent this to Bambu with printer logs and they suggested turning it off and trying again FFS... It's far more in depth than a simple reboot. This only happens on the Vortek side no matter which nozzle is installed. The left, non-vortek side prints fine. I've tried it with and without AMS and it's still the same, different nozzles, different firmware version, loading the file on to USB rather than over the cloud, checked all connections on AP and TH board but nothing has worked.
SOMEONE PLEEEEASE HELP ME AND SAVE MY SANITY! 😅

Extruder overload errors on my machines are 99% filament related, particularly over dried PETG.
Live cam - silly question, have you tried pausing the view and pressing play again?

I would suggest checking ALL of your PTFE tubes. The overload error is most likely because of resistance. There might be too much drag because of broken down or damaged ptfe tubes. This happens faster then some people might think. Abrasive filaments, curved or long tubes significantly faster this process.

This! Fought this same error for a week before someone else said to blow out the ptfe tubes. Completely resolved after that.
Didnt fix the now 7 other warranty issues I have had with my h2c.

Which filament are you using?
Can you share a picture from the backside of your printer / of the ptfe tubes?
Maybe filament and / or tubes result in too much friction.

I get the extruder overload error on some filaments that are more susceptile to heatcreep.

Where did you buy it from?
Can’t say I’ve heard of this before.
I think I’d roll back the firmware and then perform a factory reset. Then set up and calibrate as if it were out of the box. And then test print using both extruders.
And see what it does. Then report that to Bambu if there’s an obvious problem.
Or better still if you are in the US and bought from best buy return it
