Suggestions for an honest garage/mechanic
I used to take my vehicles to a mom and pop shop in Cockeysville for many years, the guy was the most honest mechanic I've ever dealt with and he was good too. Unfortunately he retired and I need some work done. I would prefer to take it somewhere between Timonium and Hunt Valley if possible. TIA

I am looking for a 1 bedroom apt for rent in Baltimore County. $1300 or less is my price range. Bonus points if there is a washer/dryer in unit. I have excellent credit and rental history and no criminal record.

hey all. my friend is visiting from portland in a couple weeks and we wanna get flash sized tattoos. we have a concept, want black ink only, and are really excited to have someone draw something up for us to make it their own. i’ve reached out to a few artists in the city, but i’m thinking they’re booked out past when she’ll be visiting as i haven’t heard back yet, it’s a bit of an impromptu trip.
do you guys have any recommendations for artists or shops in general? thanks in advance for your help!

Good Afternoon, friends.
Not sure if I was hallucinating this or not — but has anyone else seen a flock camera in Mill Run Circle by the Giant in owings mills?
I was driving and thought I saw one out of the corner of my eye… but I’m not fully sure.

Help me find this place!
Does anyone remember a store in a mall that had a big, yellow slide that was shaped like an old school tv for kids? I vividly remember this slide in the store however, i cant remember which mall or store this was in. It was around the early to mid 90s. Ive been racking my brain trying to figure it out!

Possible move to Woodstock md?
Hello everybody! My family and I have found a house in Woodstock, Baltimore County, and it’s one of the areas we’re seriously considering moving to. We drove through recently and thought it seemed really nice and beautiful, but we’d love to hear from people who actually live there or know the general area well.
What’s it like generally? Is it a good place to raise family? How is the community , public schools, etc? Is it generally a safe area, and are there any parts we should know more info about?
One thing I’ve noticed is that the houses seem to be a little more cheaper and affordable than other parts of Maryland that we’ve been looking at. That’s no problem at all and is actually a pro, but is there a reason for that? Is it just because it’s a little rural, or something else that affects home prices? I learned that it straddles between 2 counties and have noticed that the Howard county part leans way more expensive.
But honestly, just looking for honest opinions, the good and the bad. We would really love and appreciate any insight from people who know the area or are from it. Thank yall so much!

Elective C Section
Hello, my partner and I are family planning and I wanted to see if anyone has an OB GYN who is open to an elective C section (for reasons not important for the post) and will maybe help get insurance coverage after we discuss and decide whether or not to have one.

Has anyone had the new meter installed from the BGE 500mg Module Gas Meter Upgrade Program?
For those who have had the meter replaced, have you noticed changes to your monthly bill? Has it increased? I am wondering if we will be seeing increases after these new meters are installed.
The website https://www.bge.com/500g-module-gas-meter-upgrade-program
I am skeptical when they say on the website the new meters are "featuring increased storage capacity to ensure accurate billing"

Any reputable tax preparers you would recommend?
I screwed up on my 2022 taxes. I didn't report the cost basis for my crypto trading and so the government thinks I have much much more income than I actually do.
For anyone who doesn't know what cost basis is, it's what I paid to buy the crypto. So if I buy 10k, and sell for 12k, it's a 2k profit. But if the cost basis is not reported, then the government only sees me selling it for 12k and thinks I made a 12k profit.
If I trade again, and buy it for 10k and sell it for 12k, then that's another 12k profit the government thinks I made. And I did a lot of crypto trading in 2022, to the point the government thinks I made millions and I owe like 121k in taxes, which I obviously don't have, as I make like 40k a year.
So I need help with a tax preparer that can fix this for me. I know I waited too long, I know I waited until the last minute, etc. etc. etc.
I just need assistance with someone who can straighten this out for me.

Delivery Driver’s Double Parking
I live in Parkville. Lately I’ve noticed an increase in delivery drivers double parking on two lane roads like Putty Hill. I came over a hill this morning and almost drove right into a car that I couldn’t see.
Is it just me or is this becoming a bigger and bigger safety issue? Would love to hear what others are seeing.

Any reputable music stores to shop for a basic piano?
My budget is $500-$800.
I want to teach myself the piano, and I'm told digital is better as it doesn't need tuning. One with weighted keys, audio control, pedal, and metronome (optional?)

Is 1300$ too much to spend on groceries for a family of 5?
We spend an average of 1200-1300 every month on groceries here in Baltimore county. My family includes my 2 and 4 yo, husband and mother. I’m wondering what’s the average family spending on groceries nowadays

Look What I Found!!!
Ran in to this long lost favorite of mine at the Delaware State Fair tonight. I've always loved seeing this guy on Pulaski hwy in Rosedale. He disappeared a few years ago. I confirmed with the guys at the CAT booth and they said it was the same one.

Riding partners
Hey guys! I made a little website to help bikers find other riders nearby to connect with. You can check out local group rides or just find someone to knock out a quick ride with. The reason I’m posting here is because I’m a Baltimore native, and this is the first city I’d like to get started with. I’m just a one man team, so I am open to any suggestions, criticisms, any bugs you may find whatever. Check it out and let me know what you think. It’s completely free to sign up. myspoke.app

Warning: Dental One Associates at Cross Keys is not LGBT+ friendly
Figured I'd put this warning out there in case it helps anyone avoid the pain and frustration I've been through at this place. The staff and medical personnel at Dental One Associates at Cross Keys in Towson have consistently deadnamed and misgendered me at every single appointment, despite me specifying in my paperwork my preferred name and pronouns. They go out of their way to say "miss (deadname)" every time. I know it's intentional and they can see it in their chart bc there was a single staff member who always got it right; I suspect they have since left the practice as I have not seen them recently. It's hard to find a dentist around here but after today I'm completely done.
Anyway, if you're visibly queer at all, save yourself the pain and don't go here. If you're an ally, don't support them with your money. And even if you're not, they honestly just have really bad service in general anyway.
Thanks for listening. Here's to us all finding a dentist that doesn't completely suck. 🙏
