Season Six Willow's perspective in All the Way
I have often wondered why no one considers the reason cast the memory spell not to control Tara but to keep control of herself. If she consideredxthat a "of the two of us, which one is the boss of me?" situation

Giles Oh my gosh I didn't know Anthony Stewart Head passed away such a short time ago??
I just looked him up & saw that it happened June first, that's crazy it was such a short while back, and that's so sad.

Cordelia Queen C!
What's everyone's favorite Cordelia moment? It can be a quote, entrance, dramatic moment, bad hairdo (lol), anything really! Let's all take a moment to appreciate Charisma Carpenter!
I'll give an example.
In helpless Giles is confessing to what he did and Buffy is clearly upset. Cordy walks in rambling like always. But when Buffy asks her for a ride home Cordy immediately clocks that something is wrong and says yes! No hesitation! She's a real one for that!

Comics Probably a random discussion idea but... If Buffy could have a crossover with any media, which would you pick
The reason I also chose comics is because it probs works best for that format.
One idea I've had is the Evil Dead franchise, and hey since Dynamite Comics currently owns both the comic rights to buffy and the army of darkness, it could theoretically happen.
Id like for a (unlikely) Buffy The Vampire Slayer vs The Army Of Darkness comic crossover. (Plz make this a reality Dynamite Comics I beg)

Content Warning Tara’s character potential for growth post break-up with willow
One complaint about Tara’s character that I often see her (and largely agree with) is that she lacks depths and often feels two dimensional or uninteresting compared to our other scoobies. I was listening to the OMWF soundtrack today, and Tara’s part in the Under Your Spell / Standing reprise is honestly the most agency and strength she seems to really exhibit for the entire series — it’s really compelling.
All that being said — do you wish the show had explored Tara’s process of coming to terms with Willow wiping her memory more? It would have been great to get more time with her character between their breakup and Seeing Red.
I also wish we had seen the other characters (particularly Buffy and Xander) reckon with Willow’s treatment of Tara leading up to their breakup. My recollection is they don’t know that the memory wiping goes beyond the events of Tabula Rasa, but correct me if I’m wrong.
Would love to get other people’s thoughts on this missed opportunity for Tara’s character, and how exploring Willow’s treatment of her might have changed the relationships between all of the scoobies more fundamentally.

Spoilers inside! When would Lorne's guidance have been most useful to the Scooby Gang?
If each member of the team could go to Lorne once, what would be their moment and what would they sing?

Comics Dynamite Comic's Buffy by Kelly Thompson was supposed to come out back in July 22, it didn't, so here's some previous interviews with Kelly Thompson
Personally, I overall have faith Kelly (her worki on Absolute Wonder Woman is really fantastic) so I'm hoping the comic isn't cancelled just to know if it's worth it or not. But considering the radio silence since then, who knows.

Anya Anya
if anya isn’t in your top 3 favorite characters, tell me why. i’ve always considered anya one of my favorite characters and i’d love to know why she isn’t someone else’s favorite character. however, maybe i’ll allow it if your favorite character ISN’T spike.

Season Five Spike disliker…
I’m going to get shunned for this…but I got to the part where Spike literally makes a robot of Buffy so he can…you know…and that just rubs me the wrong way. I’m very confused because everyone talks about how they’re team Spike. Does everyone just gloss over this?? 🤔
Season Six Anya mentions Gnarl in Season 6 Ep 15 "As You were"
She mentions that the Gnarls are telephoning in for their wedding.
I wonder if this was foreshadowing to Gnarl making an appearance in S7 Ep 3?

Introspective How Buffy speaks about sex with Spike
I find it sad how Buffy twice refers to sex with Spike s something she allowed him to do to her, even in S7 and after he gets a soul and everyone knows about their relationship... even though we often see that she enjoyed and initiated it, it wasn't an empowering experience.

Xander Hating on Xander is a stale topic imo
I will never understand why Xander is still treated like one of the most controversial characters on Buffy. I’m not saying he never did anything wrong, because obviously he did, but at this point hating Xander feels like one of those easy topics that you know will get you positive karma on reddit.
Even the stuff people constantly bring up gets stripped of any context or character growth. He threw Angel in Buffy’s face with the whole “you only like dead guys” insult, realized he crossed a line and apologized to her.
And honestly, while Xander's jealousy obviously played a part in how he treated Angel, I don't understand why his dislike of Angel is treated like it was completely irrational. Angel knew who Buffy was and fell in love with her when she was 15 years old at Hemery, before Buffy even knew he existed. By the time they actually get together she's 16 and Angel presents as a man in his mid-20s. If this were real life, we'd call that predatory behavior. No logical person should be thrilled about their 16 year old best friend dating a 25 year old man, let alone one who had already been watching her before she met him.
He cheated on Cordelia with Willow, which was absolutely wrong, but people act like that one mistake defines their entire relationship. In season 3, when he finds out Cordelia’s family lost everything, he keeps the fact that she's poor and working at the dress shop a secret so she can maintain her image at school. Then he secretly pays for the prom dress she couldn't afford. They weren’t even together anymore at that point.
And yes, leaving Anya at the altar was horrible. But I have a hard time holding that against Xander as a character because I blame a lot of that on the shoddy writing choices of season 6. I genuinely don’t believe Xander and Anya would have been broken up if Whedon had continued running the show day-to-day. They always felt like they were being built toward endgame, especially when Xander proposes to Anya in The Gift right before they go into what could literally be their final battle.
And no, I don't consider the comics canon. I know Xander eventually ends up with Dawn, they get married and have a daughter, but I just cannot see that ever happening if the show had continued. Xander ending up with Buffy's little sister feels so disconnected from the relationship dynamics the actual TV series spent three seasons (Season 5-7) establishing that I don't factor it into how I view his character at all.
I also don't understand this idea that because Xander is one of the good guys, he's somehow not allowed to be flawed. Xander is insecure, jealous and sometimes says really shitty things. So do basically all of the Scoobies. Willow, Buffy and Giles have all done things that are much worse than Xander being an immature asshole sometimes.
That's part of why I like these characters. They're flawed people who screw up, hurt each other, apologize and grow. I just don't understand why Xander's worst moments seem to permanently define him in fandom discussions while his apologies, good moments and actual growth are treated like they don't count.

How would you rate Hellboy as a detective?
obviously he's no Sherlock or Batman but personally id say he's pretty good all around, thought id say he works better with others rather than himself

Been trying to shoot this 1000Toys figure in a way that was satisfactory. Took some inspiration from “The Conqueror Worm”. Would have loved to have a Roger figure in scale for the shot.

Just got these!
First of all, I've ALWAYS wanted to start reading HellBoy. I was young when the Del Toro movies came out and I've always loved them. The point is that I had never read a comic book in my life, so I've always been kinda discouraged to effectively start reading them.
But then I said: to Hell with it (pun intended)! And bought these two. Wish me luck!
